There are multiple restrooms, some in the front and others in the back. There are two vending machines, one for drinks and the other for snacks. The outside area is also very neat and clean. They have picnic tables in front of the parking spots.

Williston North serves travelers to Burlington, Chittenden County and points north. The Vermont Information Center Division has a regional partnership agreement with the Lake Champlain Chamber of Commerce for operations. The center opened in August 2002.

This center is near Lake Placid which has a USA Olympic Training Center. Another fully equipped rest area seems about 30 miles north. This explains a lot. Must be beautiful but isolating and serene here with the basics and minimal distractions. Also, not a lot of gas in mountainous Adirondacks and no gas at this rest area. I think I saw 1-3 stations on I-87 so far.
