We came here for a conference. They do have 4 rooms to host. They have skating shoes for rent, and food served where delicious! Ample parking space and I could see there were plenty of rooms to avail of. Looks like a lot of people come here to skate during the winter

I took my mother to dinner to Lake Morey resort for Mother's Day/birthday celebration. Everything was impeccable! The service was exceptional, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was beautiful! View of beautiful lake Morey while dining was a real treat. They had newly renovated and it looks beautiful. Definitely recommend.

We were up here this past weekend for a wedding for my best friends, middle son. And his beautiful bride. Everything from the beginning from the wedding it was beautiful outside had a lovely arbor on the front lawn of the resort. The music was incredible. The service was wonderful. We then went into the Morey room in the resort for a lovely cocktail hour or two the appetizers I will show at the bottom we had an antipasto platter, dumplings with the dip, and we also had king shrimp with cocktail sauce. Everything was lovely. The bartender, her name was Lori She was very much on top of everything. There was hardly ever a line except at the very beginning when everybody poured in from the wedding at once and wanted to drink and eat and you can't do it like instantly, so that was the only time that I saw that there was a line but she handled it very smoothly like she had but had 10 hands and she was just out of this world, so patient kind explained everything to people what was available what wasn't at that time. But she handled it definitely like a professional I would definitely I have events here. I would want to have her be the person who is at the bar. Everything went smoothly. We had a liked picture taking photo booth we had a lot of people to talk with. After they announce the bride and groom, they then in a little bit opens up the Buffet for dinner. It started off with a nice Caesar salad, pre-dressed as well as fresh rolls, three different kinds then we had a roasted potato, a fresh carrot and green bean mixture of those vegetables were a bit on the hard side, so I wasn't able to eat them because of my braces and other people couldn't because they were just too hard then we had a tortellini and cheese dish. We also had steak tips with peppers and onions and then there was a nice grilled salmon. That was very good according to the hubby. The event coordinator's name was Bonnie. She did a fantastic job. Everything was right on top of it like flowed so smoothly you thought that it was just maple syrup in the spring. Then one of the servers her name was Lenora we ended up getting her name because the next day we went back for breakfast for the bridal brunch. She was also the server at that event so we found out that she actually works like seven days a week. She's working to save up money for a trip to go visit her family, but she was just wonderful. Nothing missed her I the minute you finished your plate she was over asking if she could take it from you she was asking if you needed more drinks if you if you want more water just the kind of serve you want to take care of it event that is this special. We found out she has also been with resort over 30 years, and had no plans to retire soon. We then had to buy dessert, several different kinds of cupcakes, the bride and grooms own flavors as well as a main cake to have. I think it was one of the best weddings and events that I have been to in the very long time and I would not have missed this for the world. During the Reception, etc. I went out front to the front desk and they had a fantastic gift shop in the hotel, which I thought was the coolest thing and everything was very reasonably priced the way they took care of me at the concierge desk. Her name was Haley and she knew everything that was going on and what she was talking about and she was very confident and short for a self, and really showed a good face for the front desk. When you first walked in you need a warm, welcoming person who just makes you feel at ease and that was her. I definitely would come back here to visit if I had the opportunity. I think that everyone should try this place if you were able to do that also, it has a fantastic golf course for all types of players and a wonderful lake and all the rooms face onto the lake. They have private chalet's and stuff that you can rent private cottages for just a privacy for a family that you don't want to go in the hotel and have a whole bunch of people. It also I am the gift shop for that which is the pro shop. I mean for the golfers I went the next morning and picked up some gifts for my son-in-law's who are big golfers and the man there was super friendly as well. I'm sorry I didn't get his name, but he was very helpful to me picked out the right golf balls. I won ones with the resorts logo on them and he was just terrific. They also have a cute little restaurant in the golf pro shop that looks at over the golf course that I think would be nice for just a quiet lunch just to watch people golfing I'm not a golfer myself, but I like what other people do. There was also a couple of proms there that night the day of the wedding on Saturday so I was able to go out and watch the young people come in they're beautiful gowns and tuxedos and stuff. Just absolutely lovely. Time was being had by all. You did you have a chance to come up the restaurants open to the public you can go and eat in the restaurant and sit and look at the lake.

We stayed for five days for Memorial Day week! It was the most perfect summer trip. We had the place to ourselves I think there may have been 1-2 other cars! Everyone in the front was amazing, Heather, the younger lady who helped put a movie in for my little kids, and there may have been another person who worked evenings. We had a lake terrace room (601) with a view! It was such a great deal and the room was so spacious, incredible. Perfectly located next to our car and just steps away from the lake. The pool and gym were very clean and access wasn't an issue. No masks were required for vaccinated people. The cafeteria by the golf course had beer on tap, and everyone was so friendly and the food was great too. We did not get a chance to dine in at the restaurant but we knew that would have made the evenings more special. We didn't end up getting access to the pontoon boat- unavailable due to driver not being there, or the canoes/kayaks we just didn't have time. I highly recommend take out from the nearby restaurants and the fairlee diner across the way was fantastic. We hope to visit Lake morey as it Made our family vacation so so special and wasn't too far from other neighboring towns! The girls have not stopped talking about their trip to the lake

I would have given 5 stars if I were only rating the outside/grounds and staff. Staff so nice, accommodating and quick. The outside grounds was beyond beautiful. Menu was very limited. Pub good but dining room beyond my wallet. Crazy carpet designs, VERY uneven floors, flickering and humming lights and smells of mold and sometime bathroom smell. Shower was roomy and warm water. Beds were comfy. Went to movies in-house theatre- was nice and a cool addition Exercise room very outdated and not kept clean. Nothing in area to wipe machines off after individuals use. Pool warm and hot tub warm. Hot tub very small for size of resort. Most days when I was here was filled with kids so could not use. Struggle that the kayaks stuff only available from 9-6( especially because we were here for a training 9-4 daily)

My boyfriend and I stayed at lake Morey resort this past weekend which happened to be indigenous peoples day weekend. Prices were a little high but that is to be expected as it is a long weekend as well as prime leaf peeping season. Overall our room was clean however my boyfriend had noticed a couple of dead spiders on the ceiling. This wasn't a dealbreaker for me because we were in the woods... the sheets were clean the bathroom was clean and over all it was a clean room but the building itself is outdated. I had called and asked about a mini fridge and a microwave ahead of time. The front desk gave us a complimentary refrigerator already plugged in and running and told us they would be happy to microwave anything that needed to be microwaved at the front desk. As they had promised, a really nice woman at the desk chatted with me as she microwaved me and my boyfriends meal. We took advantage of the fire pit on site and requested a fire two out of the three nights we stayed there. They set us up with firewood and kindling at no charge. They offered play circles and kayaks wish we had planned on taking advantage of however, did not have the time in our itinerary to do so. We did however, take advantage of the pool, hot tub, and billiards table. The pool is clean as was the hot tub and the hours it's open are reasonable. We hope to return again another time, probably on off-peak dates as it was kind of out of our budget. Oh, and our view was phenomenal!!!

This is a great property for events, family reunions, a weekend get-a-way, friend or business retreat etc... I can only imagine this place in the fall when all the leaves are changing color and the views from the water must be spectacular.

It features cabins of all shapes and sizes, some lakeside, some mountainside, all tucked into the trees with views of rolling hills and countryside. The proprietors, Jay and Amy, are warm, amenable and kind. The cabins are cozy and well-appointed for couples and families, with fireplaces, day beds and fridges for leftovers. Don't expect luxury; this is rustic living! Part B&B, LLL offers cabins with inclusive breakfasts, ranging from standard continental to omelettes and pancakes (don't miss these... I think they're the best pancakes I've ever had). Activity options abound: soccer (there's an entire field), badminton, tetherball, basketball, two tennis courts, and a lovely grass volleyball court. In case that isn't enough, there's also an "activity cabin" with board games, toys, books, foozball, and TV for kids' movies (see photos). Post Pond, the lodge's central feature, is a glorious place to swim - the water is warm and lovely, as ponds are meant to be. There are rowboats, kayaks, canoes and paddleboards for guests who want to paddle, as well as a fleet of bicycles. If you're into cycling or running, take a meander down N Thetford Rd half a mile from the lodge to River Rd, which takes you all the way to the winding Connecticut River. Birds, butterflies, and peacefulness abound. (Pro tip: take your first right from N Thetford onto Breck Hill Rd for the most idyllic country scene you've ever seen.) LLL's head chef, Janet, cooks up amazing, healthy fare like kale Caesar salad, pesto linguini, grilled chicken, burgers, corn on the cob, steak, jambalaya, zucchini fries, and other fresh cuisine. There's always a kids menu with hot dogs and mac n' cheese, and you can order lunch - and ice cream cones! - through the side kitchen window to dine lakeside. Twice a week there are delicious summer buffets - on Wednesdays and Sundays, LLL is hopping with BBQ, music, juggling, swing sets, see-saws and watermelon. They are also open for dinner on weeknights in their dining room, which is classy without pretention (think tablecloths and napkins, but in a cozy, homey setting). If you ask nicely, they'll set up the most glorious outdoor table under the spreading oak trees with a view of the lake, and you'll think you're in heaven. (Warm rolls and salted butter come gratis.) Amazingly, everyone who stays here manages to become friends, and it starts to feel like home. If you come during summer, prepare for the occasional thunderstorm with raincoat and umbrella... or, better yet, just live in your swimsuit! Sunblock essential, water bottle and flashlight helpful. Cell service is spotty and no WiFi in the cabins, but that feels like a blessing. If you need to plug in, grab a couch in the main lodge or barn. Whether solo or traveling with family, LLL is an amazing place to vacation, have dinner with the kids, or relax for a weekend. This place is a godsend. Thank you LLL!! *Important note: If you smell sewage, don't panic - this just means that your cabin's septic tank needs to be pumped. Tell Jay and it'll be solved lickety split!

Our meal began with a flavor packed broth soup, featuring lemon, parsley, chicken and rice. The hearty portion was perfect for 3 to share. Next came the salads: baby greens with pickled onions and homemade vinaigrette, and rubbed kale with cranberries and nuts. Delicious! The swordfish main is crafted with an amazing balance of sweet blueberry sauce and a touch of cayenne to make the flavors pop. The chicken dish featured a tasty glaze and features grilled lemon, a surprise twist. Both mains were served with a veggie side and atop smashed potatoes- creamy and flavorful, and with lots of texture. Dinner was capped by the featured dessert, blueberry lemon panna cotta. Our stay was lovely except for the second night, we left the sign for housekeeping on the morning to clean our room and change the towels. Lo and behold we got in late around 10 pm and the bed was undone, which is fine with me BUT the towels were still on the floor!!! They don't have any staff in house at night. When I checked in late the previous night the girl I spoke to said she'll leave the room key and instructions on how to find my room on top of the front desk since she's gone by 8:30-9 pm. Anyways I followed the instructions to call this number at night if we need anything, guess what?!?! the phone was ringing at the front desk. I called multiple times from my room phone and courtesy phone next to the front desk and same result-the phone was ringing right next to me!!! We were very frustrated, I even wrote "need fresh towels" on a piece of paper and held it in front of the camera at the front desk hoping someone will see it. No such luck, I also messaged thru Expedia that night to no avail. I ended up using toilet paper to dry myself after I showered! I was very frustrated. The next day the owner's son apologized to my husband stating he thought the sign was for "do not disturb" and told us he's working on the problem because the phone calls at night wasn't getting transferred to his cell phone. I know for a fact that calls were not being transferred even the night we checked in late, an elderly guy thought I work there and needed help with something. I told him to call the same number and same thing happened, the front desk phone kept ringing. In a positive note, breakfast served in the mornings were good.
