In addition to hosting the party at the resort, we reserved all 20 guest rooms for our family and friends. From the very beginning, Dana and her team were incredible to work with--accommodating, patient, responsive, and genuinely kind. Planning a large event can be stressful, but they made the entire process easy and enjoyable. A special shout-out to Mazie, Paige, and Linda for their exceptional bartending service. They were friendly, attentive, and helped make the celebration even more enjoyable for our guests. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are stunning, the views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The guest rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The golf course was outstanding as well. Trevor and his team went above and beyond throughout the weekend, constantly checking in to see if there was anything we needed and making sure our guests were taken care of. Their hospitality was exceptional. What sets Maplewood apart is the feeling you get the moment you walk through the door--you instantly feel at home. The people, the service, the scenery, and the overall experience are second to none. I highly recommend Maplewood Golf Resort for weddings, family celebrations, reunions, golf outings, or any special event. It's our first time playing together and one of her first times playing. We are on the seventh hole and the guy in the clubhouse comes driving up and tells us to speed up. I was practicing chipping as she is getting up and down. Nobody is even playing behind us. He told me I am not suppose to play more than one ball at a time. Ontop of being heavily overpriced for twighlight golf, the staff was wildly rude. Never have I ever been so disgusted by staff on the golf course I decided to pack up and head home. 76$ for two people and a cart and I am getting rushed by the staff with nobody behind us. I do not recommend this course to anyone. So unprofessional it's not even funny.

I came here with my Husband before we had kids and was expecting myself to have to eat in the room to keep my feral kids out of the way of the guests, but that could not have been further from the truth! Stayed at the Omni with my three kids, 5 and under, and in laws for a few nights and had an incredible experience. As soon as we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly. Nick gave our kids a very warm welcome and handed them all super nice kids welcome bags. He was also the last person we saw when we left and he did a great job, super friendly! The resort has plenty of outdoor areas for the kids to run around and get some energy out. The indoor pool was perfect for kids. Only went up to 4 ft and there was a 1.5 ft wading area for the babies. There is a toy store on site in case you want to get the kids something. Of course the arcade was a huge hit for our kids. All of our meals were wonderful. We had the best servers. Elena, Peter, Dilek were awesome. Elena made us feel so special and treated me and my mother in law so well! Adam was super helpful and always hustlin around the covered porch area. After the kids were asleep we were able to sneak out to the Conservatory bar (beautiful views of the mountains) and Ben made delicious drinks. The outside when weather is this nice is really good, ample porch seating and exterior reception areas. The food imo is ok. The first meal was a "simple" BLT with really soft and kind of fatty bacon. The soda was also flat. Summer staff return and gearing for the season might lend to this. The exterior temps were hot one day and the lobbies and hallways were just plain hot, too. My room AC ran nonstop and failed to break 74 in the room. The suite was nice if not outdated a bit with carpeted floors that likely met the style of an old hotel but felt old. The Cave bar is a must. Omni is showing signs of reparation on this hotel which shows the grandeur of its day, great molding and architectural accents, but also fighting termite damage, actual termites and bees, one of us was stung in the dining room, inside. The staff is seasonal, with that some younger folks learning the system and very friendly while others, like bellhops seeming disinterested. It's wrapped as looking luxury but with practical gaps in execution.

There was two tee boxes per hole and a few holes that were surprisingly tricky. At hole 3 theres this great brook that runs by the property adding to the relaxing vibe. There was a huge bus full of old clubs the owner let my friend borrow some so he could play a round with us. Rocky the owner told us he built the place by hand over the last 20 or so years, and has quite a few interesting stories from its history. We really enjoyed the spot!
