From start to finish, working with these guys was awesome. We actually went on maybe the 2nd to last day of the season, so our tour guides were extra jovial and enthusiastic in ending the season on a high note. Our boat had Bailey while the other guys had Kenny - both hilariously animated guys. We originally thought we'd be able to wake up for the early morning river run, but glad we booked the 2nd one due to having a late and debaucherous night before. The early afternoon was pretty windy so we were worried about freezing waters, but actually the sun came out and warmed us up pretty nice. All the equipment was very modern and new, and the rafts themselves were in great shape. Basically you draft down the river twice, with the second time full of more instances where you're begging to be tossed into the water. The last peaceful stretch was actually a great time for everyone to jump out of the rafts and peacefully wade in the water. There was an included photographer who got some awesome shots, although most of the time I had no idea where or when they were shooting and came up with great candids. The food afterwards was pretty great. You get a choice of protein - I highly recommend the salmon. They also have a bar type setup you can partake in. Overall, I highly recommend this adventure company. It provides a very homey feel and care to give you an awesome experience that is authentic to their roots and passion.

The boat was in great condition, lifejackets were new, and the location of the shop was great for exploring and putting in. One thing to note, they apparently have spots on the lake that you can rent to camp at? But after rafting, you're…read moregiven an option to go tubing for free, me and my family decided to go tubing down the river which we had to walk down the pathway which was fine. Once we got into the water with no instructor, the only instructions we were given was to follow the same path we took for rafting and swish towards the right after the bridge. We also were told not to get out of our tube. The experience was normal, but nothing really special, when we were tubing once we passed the bridge we tried to steer right, but nothing was happening due to the strong currents. When we were approaching the time where we're supposed to get out of the tube nothing changed. This led to me and my family having to evacuate our tubes and caused us to hit our feet on the shallow sharp rocks in the waters. It was painful and I don't recommend to anyone. We had to get out of our tubes, drag our tubes with us to the shore while hitting sharp rocks and it was not fun. Overall, the rafting was normal and expected, but the tubing was not fun and I recommended they have an instructor or staff help navigate the strong dangerous waters to prevent any accidents.

Hannah was full of knowledge about the river and the surrounding area, as well as being a skilled river guide with 4 years of experience with this rafting company. All of the staff were pretty chill and everyone had a memorable and safe trip down the Rapid. All of this without a 4+/- hour ride up into whoknowswhere Maine. BONUS: to finish the run with a slow pontoon boat ride back to base camp was the perfect way to end a great afternoon. The first few times we had large groups of people with us, all meeting up to go down the river together. They accommodated us the best they could and we did the rest. You can rent tubes, cooler tubes, dog tubes, kayaks, canoes and more. They provide you with a life jacket and ticket time to be ready for your shuttle. They then shuttle you to a drop off location along the mighty Saco River. They transport you, your tube, and all your belongings right to the drop off. You can choose the length of your trip upon purchase. There is a one mile, three mile, and five mile trip down river. You can choose to repeat the trip, as long as there is time before they close for you to do so. They open early, like 8 am and close at 5 pm. The river is beautiful, and varies in depth throughout the trip. There's plenty of beaches to stop and enjoy a packed lunch or a snack. Please stay off of any beach that says "private" as they are not part of the rental companies lands. There's a couple of rope swings to stop at, but remember, you're stopping with no liability on the rental company. They are not liable for much on these trips. You sign paperwork ahead of time, stating such. Their booth has some items you may need for the trip down river, such as waterproof bags, dry bags, phone bags, goggles, paddles, sunblock, sunglasses and more, of course all priced slightly up. I really enjoy renting and tubing with this company, they've got it down after all these years. Definitely a really fun thing to do during a hot summer day.
