She moved around a bit, but I believe she is now permanently located at Imagique Salons on Campbell and Greenville. Her contact number should still be the same though. But on to my review... I'm the kind of person that absolutely hates switching hairstylists, because I don't like to be disappointed with my haircut. With that said, a few years back, I needed to find someone new because my old hairstylist moved to a location that was too far away. I was really hesitant when my friend suggested Chi, but I figured, might as well. I've been going back to Chi ever since and I like her better than my old stylist. She is the kind of person that pays attention to details. I asked for a lot of layers, and she took her time, and gave me exactly what I wanted. As she's working, you can tell how focused she is in her work. She knows how to style your hair in a way that matches with your facial structure. I've gotten plenty of compliments on my hair since I started coming to Chi. Also, Chi is super sweet and accommodating. You can tell she's busy because she is always booked full whenever you try to make an appointment with her. However, she will always do her best to move her schedule around in order to fit you in.

I love love LOVE this place!!…read more My sister had always gotten her hair done by this lady named Chi (owner of C&S) for the last 10 years. I had always gone to Tony and Guy for my $80 cuts or uptown for my $75 cuts. I've gotten my hair done by the #1 hairstylist in Taipei. When I go to Houston, I get my hair done by this award winning stylist. A few years ago, my sister finally convinced me to go to Chi since this place was much closer to my home and she charges less than half of what I usually pay for. My sister lives in Austin and comes back to Dallas to get her hair done by Chi. For cuts: Chi isn't as good as the award winning stylist in taiwan or houston.....but she's just as good or even better than the ones in uptown and tony & guy. I am extremely happy with my hair cuts every single time I visit her. And her service is extremely affordable and she is SUPER super sweet. I usually get my hair tapered on the side with a razor cut. She is extremely good with hair styles: prom, wedding, and special occasion up, down, and halfway dos. Most of my friends and their entire wedding parties get their hair done by her. I love the princess look- half up and half down. I asked her to do that for me and at the wedding, all the girls came up and loved my hair. One girl even said: I've been in about 5 weddings and seen soo many princess half do versions, your hair is the MOST perfect version i've ever seen. who did your hair? I handed chi's number out to 10 girls that night. 50% of the time, she runs about 15-30 minutes late. That's only because her clients run late, which makes her run late. Parking, there are only 3 parking spots in front of her salon. There are plenty of parking spots across the street where Bobba Latte. Cash only.

Its incredibly difficult to find a stylist, who not only listens to their clients but also cares…read moreabout the health of their hair. For me, as many people have experienced in the past....stylists who have done the complete opposite leaving you with damaged hair, horrible coloring that's been done and of course the amount of time it takes for your hair to repair itself let alone, leaving you to have trust issues and giving your trust in another stylist. I had a stylist that I had been working with for years...and trust me he was quite spendy, but Melissa.... There are not enough words to describe how much of a Godsend Melissa is...so let me try. She is an absolute professional, I have spent hundreds upon hundreds to get my hair done but she is better than any stylist I have ever worked with. She's attentive to your wants and needs but she will be honest and upfront with you because she wants you as a lifelong client. She takes the condition of your hair and will tell you in order to get it to this color, this is what is going to happen. She will NOT put herself to damage your hair. That's where the saying "patience is a virtue" comes into play. I absolutely admire her honesty and professionalism. She also explains the process in detail, why she uses certain types of products etc. she wants to educate her clients. She is incredibly knowledgeable and constantly is trying to perfect her trade. You can see her work on her instagram @glamourby_melissa you'll be floored at how amazing her work is! She is worth every penny, trust me. I know we all want to look a certain way...for me I wanted that icy blonde...I wanted it immediately not thinking of what would happen to my hair....it takes multiple sessions to get it that ice blonde I want and I would rather spend thousands to get my hair to this color than to end up bald because I'm impatient. I put all my trust in her and I always know she will make me feel fabulous!

Traci, Traci, Traci, Traci!!!! Love this lady!!!!…read more Let me tell you I have been going natural for over a year and wanted to participate in the many protective styles available. I was feeling uncomfortable about trying a weave again since the last time I had one turned out horrible! I had tried two different stylist who did my weaves and neither one got it right. One could only sew in the hair and left you to style. The other just added too much hair. So needless to say, I was done with weaves. But once my hair told me she was tired of being heat styled every day and I need to give her a break, before she decided to "break" on her own. I decided to give a weave another try. For about two months I searched long and hard for a stylist. I wanted a stylist who did more than just a "weave". I wanted someone who cared about the overall health of my hair and can whip up a fantastic full weave style - as well as a fantastic natural style when I was ready. If you haven't realized by now, I'm a Yelp-er and I used Yelp to help me on my quest to find that stylist. Traci had excellent reviews and not only did Girlfriend have reviews - she had PICTURES!!! Stylist need to understand that showcasing your work is very important. Word of mouth can only go so far. To able to see the work is important. Traci has pictures on yelp, Facebook, and even You Tube. Her prices are AWESOME!!! and she can throw down!!! She is very nice and approachable. A lot of people who I called seem to have attitudes, like they being forced to do hair. UGH! Ms. Traci makes you feel like you are talking to one of your good girlfriends. She is really cool and down to earth. I'm going to try to add some pictures. I'm so in love with my hair style. It's a bob cut. Short in the back, long in the front. I get compliments all the time. Even guys compliment - seriously they do. If you are in search of stylist - please check Traci out. Oh and she is from Cali; just like me. That was just an added bonus. Thanks for making me gorgeous, Traci!!
