Horrible communication and website is useless. I signed my daughter up for classes. They only offer online which seems to be par for course these days. When I looked online about Parent classes, student grades and student next steps, after the online classes, I was unable to find any current information. When I emailed, I received no response. I wrote again and received an answer to one of my questions. I wrote back again asking for answers to my other two questions. I, again, received a response to only one. I wrote again and as of right now have not received a response. I would imagine for the amount of money you are spending for a generic zoom class, you can do better. I have no idea about the in-person driving classes as they wont communicate with me about how my daughter goes about setting those up. read more

Do NOT use this company. The owner is mentally disturbed, unprofessional, hostile, irresponsible. Rude does not come close to describing this woman. We waited this AM for two hours and she did not show up for a scheduled driving test, keeping three other families waiting. She threatened to put a hold on my son's permit claiming that HE had not showed up. She used an abusive epithet to describe my son. She yelled and screamed and threatened to call the police on us if he showed for the test the next day, which is when SHE says it is scheduled. This is clearly illegal. We will be taking her to small claims court for the fees that she refuses to refund due to her own error. And also looking into complaining to the RMV - which, based on other reviews, has been done before. Based on the complaints below, it's shocking that she is still in business. Wow. This lady, Gilli, is comically criminal. Do NOT, under any circumstances, deal with this company. She "forgot" to give my daughter the "brush-up" course ($250) then blamed me for her test failure. She then rescheduled the brush-up course and agreed to not charge me as it was her mistake. When I called the next day to schedule the next course and test she threatened to hang up on me and ban us from the program unless I paid again, denying her offer from the previous day. Why, you may ask, would I give her more money? Because, if I wanted my daughter to get her test done in the near future, now that we had put ourselves in her hands, we had to go back to her. The registry is months out. Further, she told me that the reason that she failed the first time was that she was an idiot and I was a bad parent for not insuring that she knew how to parallel park. We went back, did the brush up course with one of her good instructors, and returned to pass the test with no issues. Turns out my kid is NOT an idiot after all! So, now I am trying to get her to reimburse me for the brush-up course that she forgot and this makes her INSANE. Screaming profanities at me while she is giving a driving lesson. She is so obsessed with money that she wont hire a receptionist so she does her scheduling while she is teaching. So professional! Do yourselves a favor, read the reviews and her responses, they are entertaining at least if not a bit sad to see so many people being mistreated by this nut ball. I had a lesson recently with the owner of the company, I believe her name is Gilli, and she was extremely cruel. We spent the first 20 minutes of the lesson in the parking lot while she was yelling at other customers on the phone, and then chatting with her friend. The whole time we were in the car together, she scolded me, but not in a constructive way. After spending an hour with her, I can confidently say she is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. However, my first 3 lessons at Sharon Driving School were taught by a man named Rob, who was very helpful and kind. Overall, I definitely do not recommend paying for this driving school because Gilli should not even own a business. read more

My son will not be completing his driving education at Sharon. He joined along with a close friend. While the classroom experience was fine, we both had tremendous difficulty getting any calls returned to schedule driving time. His friends parents are immigrants and left a message expressing thier frustration with the service. The return call was nothing but a racist, anti-immigrant tirade that was breathtaking in it's ferocity. These good friends of ours are incredibly kind and thoughtful professionals. Some of the most soft-spoken, giving people I know. I cannot imagine what unleashed, or so unhinged, this person. I do know that we are done with them. One star seems too high. read more

This company does not even deserve the one star. If they offered a money back guarantee, I would gladly take it even a portion just to no longer have to do business with them. Unfortunately, after they take your $630.00 (which is high), they have you by the proverbial "stones." The way they treat their customers is appalling. The secretary (possibly owner) who answers the phone is rude and constantly reminds you that scheduling driving times is totally at the school's discretion. They only allow you to schedule two to three hours at a time and those times are usually two to four weeks ahead. My child took the class portion over the summer and will not be able to complete the driving portion until well into November, possibly December. The school will constantly remind you that they have plenty of students who also need driving hours, as if you are not important. Any reasonable business would hire sufficient staff or limit the number of students they sign up so that they may provide the best service to their paying customers. Be careful of all of the additional fees they charge, also. When my other child took driver's ed. at a different school, we paid a flat fee and had no scheduling problems for the driving portion; thus, the course was completed within two months, including class and driving hours. If you have any other options for driving schools in your area, please consider them first. Contact the RMV and ask if they have had any complaints with Sharon Driving School, as I'm sure they will let you know they have. If I only knew then what I know now, I would never have chosen to do business with this school! Beware! read more

I am in the middle of a horrible experience with them. I didn't have a problem with my older daughter 3 years ago, but this time around has been a nightmare. When I booked my son's road test a few weeks ago they did not mention a due date on the money for the test. They called and demanded CASH only within 24 hours or the test would be cancelled. I should have just cancelled right then. I did come with $140 in cash (for a Saturday test) but told them when I showed up that my husband and I were now unexpectedly out of town that weekend and could I please reschedule for when we got home because my son didn't want to do it without me there. They refused. I had to pay an additional $20 to have them come pick him up because my care provider couldn't do it. Of course, my son misplaced his wallet over the weekend and had to miss the test...everything I had warned them about. I called to reschedule and Gilly quickly hung up on me saying "He lost his permit, so good riddance and good luck". Stunned, I called back and when I started to try to explain what happened she hung up on me again. I called her yet again and this time she told me she would rebook it, but she had already paid the RMV and it would cost me an additional $140 because the money was gone plus the $20 "no-show" fee charged from the Registry. A HUGE LIE ... I have a printed transcript of his License road test information from the RMV and there was never a payment made. I went to her office to explain that the RMV has a 24 cancellation policy (for free!) and that if it was within 24 hours it was only a fee of $20...not $140! I went to her office to work it out and she promptly waived her contract at me (that has various descriptions and circumstances surrounding the "No Refund" policy) and then said to leave her office and good luck to me. I went back to the RMV to report her but they said to reach out to the Ombudsman and definitely report her school. Be very careful in dealing with her...and "bump-in-the-road" and you are out of your money!! Buyer beware!! read more

My daughter signed up and took the class during Christmas break. The class was good. The real problem with this school is the rudeness and the office staff is completely inept. Each time my daughter called she, if she could get through she had to deal with a very rude Indian woman. My daughter would repeat back to her what the dates and times were to make sure they were on the same page and many times the car would show up on the wrong day or time and then this caused more head aches.She would have to call back , the Indian woman would yell at her and blame her . Come to find out they have a very inefficient paper system. Foolishly we decided to take the road test with them. They gave my daughter the form to fill out ahead of time. Morning of the test we get there and the examiner in the car says the form is the wrong version. So we had to go crazy to get the right form so she could take her test that am. All in all lousy front desk service, class and driving portion was ok. read more
