I took driving lessons with Brian, and I had a great experience! He was quick to figure out what I needed to work on and was very organized in our driving lessons. I always had trouble with parallel parking. He was really patient in explaining to me different techniques until I found a way that worked for me. Thanks to his help, I was able to pass my driving exam. His help, support, and knowledge about driving were invaluable to my success. I would highly recommend him and the school! read more

Brian was an excellent driving instructor. All three of my children had lessons with him. He was very thorough and made sure they were very safe drivers. Even during Covid, he made them do their observation hours when it was optional. His price was fantastic. Rest in peace, Brian. I just found out you passed away. read more

FYI: Registered my son for in person Driver's Ed for July 2023. Come to find out the owner /instructor has passed away a few months ago. Apparently, there is no one taking over the business or even reachable. The website is still up and running to register. DO NOT LEAVE PAYMENTS!! Just had to go to the bank to put a stop payment on the payment made. Feel badly for the owner~ read more

He is so unprofessional. NEVER return calls, texts, or email. I had my child driving test scheduled he never showed up. I have to pay for a new driving school for my child because I could not get in touch with him. I have to file to take him to small claims court to get my money back for incomplete services. DO NOT USE HIM. I wish I could give -0 stars. read more

Just passed my road test after taking driving lessons with Brian and my experience has been great. He was very flexible with scheduling, and adjusting class duration when I had to cut it short. Brian also was great at pointing out my deficiencies and patiently working with me on fixing them. I was surprised to see that some reviewers did not have a good experience, but to me what worked is that I was treated as a responsible adult, with honest feedback, and straight up responses. Because I was taking driving lessons once a week, there was no urgency in getting a response right away, but Brian's replies would always be thoughtful and on point. All in all, as mentioned I had a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to have an honest instructor who would help them progress as quickly as possible read more

My experience with A&E was HORRIBLE - we just found out my son did not pass the classroom exam - 5 weeks after he took it, owner did not respond to text msg for over a month. Its so bad we requested a refund and will make my son redo the class elsewhere. Its my son's fault he didn't pass - but we now wasted a month as he could not give a clear plan for retaking the test. complete waste of time. Really a poor way to run a business. If he can't even respond to a text I cant image what a nightmare scheduling the driving hours would be. read more

HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!! HORIBBLE!!! I wish there was negative stars. You get what you pay for. My daughter took the class back in April, we're now in July and have not received not one driving instruction. I finally had to get involved and then he tried to put it all on my kid. It's extremely difficult to get in contact with him, he doesn't answer the phone and he texts back a week later. It's not worth it. Save yourself the frustration and headache pay the extra money and go somewhere else. To make matters worst, I only found out my daughter didn't pass the class after 4 months and after requesting a refund. I really wish I would have read the other reviews. I honestly believe that is a lie and he's only saying that so he doesn't have to refund the money. read more

Worst driving schopl don't go. Super unprofessional. Dont fall in the trap of the cheap price. Brian is a dick. You get what you pay for!

I have been taking weekend driving lessons for about a month now, and it has been great learning so far. Always on time and great instructions while driving. Starting to drive can be very scary, like the first time you hit the highways. It was not as scary as I thought, with the right guidance I felt my confidence in driving rise with each lesson and I want to thank a and e school for that. read more

I tried scheduling my first driving lesson on the phone and was told the only time they could come was at 5:30 and I agreed. The driver ended up being 20 minutes late with the sole explanation that the driver before me was late driving home. I got an hour of instruction that had little to no explanation as to how to operate the vehicle which is extremely scary for the first time driving. I was also consistently compared to other drivers by the instructor which I thought was very unprofessional and was not needed. At the end of the lesson, I scheduled another one for later on in the week and was texted the morning of the lesson asking to schedule an hour earlier because it was more convenient for them and I agreed. At the time of the scheduled lesson I texted the instructor and informed them I was waiting outside. I got no response and was told twenty minutes later that they would be "coming soon." I waited over 45 minutes in 100 degree weather and eventually just cancelled my lesson. The instructor offered no apology for being so late and only offered the explanation that there was "traffic" and despite however much traffic there may be, it does not take 45 minutes to get to the next town over (where the instructor said he was). Very rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I would not choose this company. read more

Brian was a very good teacher and took the time to explain in depth everything you need to know to be ready for the road!

I am very glad that i took lessons from Brian. I was super scared of highway driving. I couldn't find any driving instructor who takes students to the highways. Brian had me to drive in the highway in my 2nd lesson and he very quickly understood my problem. After that he always had me to drive in the highways. He even don't mind to go to Quincy my work place as this was my big challenge. Today I am so happy so my husband is that I drove from office to home in rush hour. This wouldn't be possible without Brian; so thank you very much Brian. I highly recommend him for people like me who scared of driving. Brian has the magic!!! read more

When I was looking for a driving school as soon as I turned 16, I found A&E and I am so glad I did. I got my classes done in the summer which were tough because it was so hot (nothing you could do about the weather of course), and then I finished up all my driving lessons by the end of November. The instructor, Brian, is very knowledgeable on driving as well as cars. He's extremely experienced and helpful. Not only was this school cheaper than most, but I'd say it's even better quality comparing to what I've heard about other driving schools. read more

DON'T GO HERE. i went for a week and there was no structure to the work. the old woman would just talk about her personal life in the middle of class. a waist of my time. they did not give me a certificate of completion because i did not finish the in class work due to the old woman telling stories about thing that happen to her, completely unrelated to driving. a complete waist of my time, and money. unprofessional. read more

HORRIBLE experience! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. They cancel appts, lie about time when they just dont show up, and if they do appear, they are always at least 30 mins late! read more

Great experience! Highly Recommend! The owner of A&E driving school, Brian, is extremely insightful, informative and easy to contact. Whenever I contacted him with any questions, he replied very quickly and informatively. He is a great teacher with tons of experience. A&E driving school made the whole process of getting a license so easy and stress free. Thank you to A&E driving school! read more

Brian was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. The classes are long and not the most interesting but that's just how driver's ed classes are. The driving hours are scheduled in two hour appointments and Brian was very helpful and informative while driving, and also didn't let it get too boring. He also sponsored me and I passed on the first try, thanks to his teaching. Overall a great school, would recommend to anyone. read more

Terrible experience. My son saved his own money during high school to take driving lessons. This company took his $450 and he has never received a lesson. They never answer the phone and the one time he was taken out for "observation" - they took him to McDonald's where the instructor bought herself something to eat and they sat in the parking lot. read more

Terrible instruction. Most unprofessional- doesn't return calls, shows up late for lessons. Don't waste your money- this guy doesn't care about his students at all. read more

Terrible experience. Impossible to schedule driving time because they never return phone calls and have very limited driving hour options. The office is extremely disorganized. The students get inconsistent road instructions and so they are not prepared for their road test. read more

I really recommend this school! Brian the instructor is very patient and really cares about his students! I came from abroad and wasn't familiar with the rules of the road, Brian taught me all within 2 days of practice (3.5 hours of lessons) and i passed! He gives some very helpful advice! read more
