When I went for food allergy testing with Dr Resnick, I was told to bring with me all the fruits,…read morevegetables, and other foodstuffs that I suspect I might be allergic to. What?? Isn't an allergy doctor supposed to have the serums for those substances on hand to use for those tests? Since when does the patient have to supply all these items themselves? I found this to be very unprofessional, but I went along with it. In addition to that - and subsequently not even properly diagnosing my allergy - this guy had the gall to charge me a ridiculously high amount for a plastic spacer that the drug salespeople leave with doctors as samples to give to their patients free of charge. He even said, while handing it to me "Here's something for you." only to go and bill my insurance for it! Not only did I already have one and never claimed to need a new one - but I could have gotten it at my pharmacy for no cost if I did need one. That was in addition to a number of other questionable fees and charges that were tacked on to my bill. Shoddy practice, sneaky charges, and no relief from my allergy to boot. I moved right along.

I came to see this doctor with my then 4 year old daughter. I seen many ..many ...doctors. She was…read moreeven seen at the hospital for what seemed to be a mystery to all the doctors. When no one could diagnose her... I turned to this doctor and he solved the mystery! He was terminated to find out what was wrong with my child. You can clearly see how caring and passionate he truly is. He is a doctor who wants to help you. Not get you in and out like most do. He even had medical questions for my husband and had me call him so he can talk to him. What doctor does that?? Right there and then he figured everything out. He even called to check up on her! What doctor actually cares enough to call and not have a nurse do it! I'm truly great full for this doctor. If it was not for him...I would have never known what was going on with my child. I wish more doctors were like him!! I will never forget this doctor. I would highly recommend him!!

I am not sure if he was having a bad day, or not, but our experience meeting with Dr Hugh was…read moreabsolutely AWFUL! My ten year old had to establish having an allergist since we moved to this area. Dr Hugh would not listen to the advice received from the other allergists we have had (and liked) in the past six years. He dismissed everything they had told me to tell the new allergist when we moved. Then, he told us that we should do another skin test to show what she is allergic to. We already knew for the past six years what she is allergic to, but decided he needed to have his own results and went with the testing. This is the first skin test that she had done that was utterly disorganized. I still have NO idea of how the person applying the sticks actually knew what they were. There weren't any real markings. Here is the winning detail of why a 1 star was rated..... When the Dr looked at my daughters arm for the results, he just said in an "I told you so" voice that he predicted these results. Things that she has NEVER shown signs of being allergic to, he told us she was. At the conclusion of this most unpleasant visit, he did not even wipe my daughters arm off!!!! Little bumps and red welts plus all the pen lines of where the stick was..... left on her arm to leave the office. I asked him to clean it off, and he said he didn't have the time to do it and his nurse was busy with another patient! I was FUMING! So, I said "FINE!" and went to the front desk to check out and saw she had alcohol wipes. I got a couple of those and wiped her arm off. Used the bathroom and scrubbed her arm with soap. Then drove to CVS and got antihistamines for her. This was such an awful visit, and I am warning everyone else that goes to this practice at what an awful experience this was for us. If you have seen him, and had a good visit, how lucky for you. If you haven't been here, just beware!
