When on holiday I visited around 5 times in a week, the waitresses were very friendly and helpful and we were delighted to discover 'Pie night' which is every Friday evening, for around £6.70 (don't remember the exact price) you could help yourself to a carvery-style dinner of roast potatoes, chips, peas and other vegetables.
Then you could choose from I think 5 different pies two of them were steak and kidney, ham and liver and I think stake and ale pie. I chose the steak and kidney pie which I was given a huge portion of a pie which had just been freshly made. I mean it was HUGE along with all the veg and potatoes, it was probably the best thing I had ever tasted.
One downside is I think a couple of things on the menu are slightly pricey, I paid £8 for a tuna sandwich and bowl of chips both of which were very tasty and well prepared,
It also has a lovely view of Mevagissey harbor.
They have a large selection of pudding available too and other main meals, there is plenty of seating available and are friendly with children and I did also see a puppy in there looking quite pleased.
Until next year :'-( read more
