The shark aquarium view is unique but the food offerings and value were not the main attraction. The food was overpriced which can be expected in a theme park but not well executed either. The service was friendly and prompt but didn't make up for the mid food.
Will start by saying, yes, it is expensive but, it's what you would expect from a sit down restaurant at any of these parks. They give you the opportunity to take a break from the heat, lines, and they have a huge aquarium inside with sharks and fishes for you to enjoy while you eat. Service can be slow, especially when busy, so recommend looking at the menu before hand and being ready to order all when your server comes. We did that and it was a breeze. Our server even thanked us for being ready, making his job way easier. The menu has something for everyone, burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, soups.... All decent, good portions, but the one thing that stood out was the lobster bisque. That was legit delicious. Reservations are highly recommended
Disappointing service experience at Sharks Underwater Grill My children and I had been looking forward to visiting Sharks Underwater Grill for months. Since this restaurant is located inside SeaWorld and has views of the underwater aquarium, we were very excited for this experience. Unfortunately, the experience started with extremely disappointing customer service at the front entrance. We arrived without a reservation, and the women at the host stand were not welcoming or friendly. We were added to the waiting list and asked to wait on the couches near the entrance. Shortly after, we were called and taken inside. The restaurant itself is beautiful, especially the aquarium windows. Since we were visiting with children who were excited to see the sharks, we politely asked if there was any possibility of moving from the very last table near the wall to a table closer to the aquarium. There were several tables near the windows, including some with guests already seated there. Instead of trying to accommodate us or explain the situation clearly, we were given a confusing answer and asked to step outside while they "checked." After waiting outside, nothing changed, and we were seated at the exact same table. This whole situation created unnecessary stress and disappointment, especially for my children who had been so excited about this visit. A simple, kind explanation or a little effort from the staff would have made a huge difference. To be fair, the food was actually good. I ordered the lobster bisque and Caesar salad, and both were delicious. However, the poor attitude and lack of hospitality from the host stand completely affected our overall experience. The restaurant has a beautiful concept, but customer service is a very important part of a dining experience. Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed and frustrated.
We took a family trip to Seaworld to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday. Additionally, my grandson is a massive fan of Sesame Street so we wanted to introduce him to Sesame Street Land. Because my daughter is enthralled with sharks, we opted to dine at the Sharks Underwater Grill for lupper. As one would likely expect, the food was mediocre and didn't match the price point. My mom and I shared the turkey sliders with French fries. My daughter had a quesadilla, and my son-in-law ordered a burger. The guacamole on our sliders was average and comparable to store bought. Everyone shared the same sentiment regarding the quality of their food. However, the service was top notch. We had a fantastic server. I can't recall his name but he was an older Hispanic gentleman. And the view of the shark tanks was pretty cool. The best meal out of the 5 of us was my grandson's. He enjoyed the kids chicken fingers and French fries. His meal came with an ice cream sundae that was cleverly topped with gummy shark candy. This is a family friendly establishment and there is a very long line of folks who are waiting to dine. We made a reservation so this was extremely beneficial. I mention it is family friendly because we found it very disappointing that a group in the front by the shark tanks had way too many libations and were behaving obnoxiously. It would've been preferred if management asked them to depart because this went on well after they finished their meal. We visited the restrooms prior to departing. Cleanliness was also mediocre. Granted, these restrooms are a high traffic area. Basically, spend the coin if you're a big fan of sharks or want to check out the shark tanks while dining. Otherwise, don't waste your money.
I have been trying to get a magical dining reservation here for years and it finally happened! The booth we got sat at was a little far away from the tank, but I honestly really enjoyed the view. For the starter, I got the cold water lobster bisque. It had chunks of lobster in it and the flavor was perfect. I ordered the filet mignon as the entree. It was cooked well and the Yukon potatoes were incredible. TBR vegetables for a little undercooked in my opinion. The chocolate cake confusion was amazing but decedent. I had two bites and then took it home with me and have been picking at it the last couple days. During magical dining, if you are able to get a reservation to Sharks, you are allowed to park at SeaWorld and stay in the park after your reservation for free. I got a reservation for 6pm, so by the time we were done eating, we had about 1.5 hours in the park until close. We were able to see a show, do a ride, and watch the night show on the way out.

The thinking, which turned be true, is that it would be more the off time so less busy. I did see a comment online that said to ask for a table down by the glass. I mentioned it to the gal at the front, and she hooked us up. We had a great spot to see all the sea life swim by. We got some drinks, mine was very sweet. I like a drink thats sweet but this had a little more sugar that I'd care for. I got the sliders which came out fast. It was basically 2 slightly smaller than normal size hamburgers. They were just fine. I got the bisque as well, that was just fine. Overall the food pricey and just fine, but for a park it was good, and the ambiance was A+. Oh and service was excellent. We got a waiter that really was on top of things. I would definitely suggest doing a bite here at least one time.
Make reservations if you want to get a front row seat at the Shark Tank. Since we did, we were greeted and seated promptly. The waitress came right over. I was surprised that the menu for being inside an amusement park. They had some really upscale dishes. I had the lobster bisque and it was delicious. The food came out quickly. My child's burger was a little well done so he didn't want to eat it, but he didn't leave hungry because the waitress made him a hot fudge sundae. You can't beat the view of sharks swimming around while you eat.

I had the lamb chops with a unique Greek-style sauce that was flavorful and memorable, along with salmon that was cooked perfectly. I also ordered the Tropical Turtle Hurricane, which was refreshing and well made. Overall, this is a family friendly spot with a quieter, more relaxed vibe compared to the rest of the park. It is on the pricier side, but that is expected for a theme park restaurant.
Sharks Underwater Grill has an upper deck with half-circular booths that are comfortable and provide a great view of sharks, sawfish, and various tropical fish in the aquarium that wraps around the restaurant. The service is friendly, and the food is quite good. For an appetizer, the lobster bisque is quite tasty. For the main course, the filet mignon with its Cabernet demi-glaze is very good. For dessert, the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake is both aesthetically pleasing and delicious. For convenience, parking near an area where the lighthouse is visible will place you near the front entrance of the park and make the trek to and from the restaurant much more convenient.
Made reservation two days ahead just to be safe because we had a party of 10. I didn't see menu online, assuming the menu changes. The entree were anywhere from $29 to $48. Mostly chicken related. We ordered 3 out of the 4 appetizers they had available. The coconut chicken tenders were very good, 3 pieces laid on top of arugula. They were tender on the inside and crispy outside with a good amount of coconut crust. The flavor was good too. I didn't get to eat the chicken quesadillas but the kids enjoyed it. I did try some of the guacamole and the corn salsa. The guacamole was not good. Taste premade and sat in fridge, not enough of any seasoning in it, just tasted 'green'. The corn salsa was pretty good. I only got to have the tomato from the flatbread, the kids ate it all. But the cheese looked good when I was cutting it up to share with everyone. My son and I ordered the lamb chop and hubby got the filet mignon. I tried a piece of hubby's mignon, it was very tender. The lamb was very good. The mix of bbq sauce with the Greek chimichurri and tzatziki sauce were pretty good together. The lamb was garnished with some asparagus and carrot which was great but they were blanched/steamed. I'm glad the veggies wasn't over cooked but they would have been much better if they were grilled with sprinkle of salt and pepper. That would have brought out more flavors of the veggies to accompany the lamb. Then we had the chocolate cake confusion. It was soooooo chocolately! Thick and heavy. The raspberry syrup with it made it even sweeter. Can't have too much but it was pretty good, just don't dip too much raspberry syrup with each bite. Our friends enjoyed their meal too, they got the burger, chicken, and a salad, they liked them. I didn't take photos of their food. Our waitress was nice. Food took a while to arrive and they don't give out bread or anything so we kind of just sat and drank water and look at the shark tanks until food arrived. Lol. It was a nice 1st time experience after going to Seaworld for so many years.
The Sharks Underwater Grill is an amazing exhibit. The underwater water view of the sharks and other marine life is stunning. You can look up over your head and see the sharks and fish swimming it was really cool. I definitely recommend see the when visiting Sea World.
The sharks are great! The lobster bisque is delicious. The miso salmon dish was terrible and I didn't finish it despite being incredibly hungry. I really appreciate what they're trying to do, but the restaurant doesn't justify the price: over $300 after tip for 3 people. My recommendation is to go through the tunnel to see the sharks and get food elsewhere.
When booking for magical dining, gives you free parking and admission. They send a text to where to ago to check in at the ticketing booth and a team member brings you to the restaurant. You check in once again at the restaurant and got sat down right away. The restaurant is nice with the aquarium view of fishes, sharks, etc. Our server Greg was really nice and attentive! Even when my grandma was being a bit difficult, he made sure there was something she would get to eat. We ordered a rose and margarita to drink which both were good. The lobster bisque as an appetizer was very very salty. Tried to add pepper to help cut it a bit but no luck. There was good chunks of lobster in the bisque. Ordered the filet mignon as the entree and it was the highlight of the whole meal. A nice size that was cooked and seasoned ro perfection. My sister gotten the salmon that was perfectly cooked and the sauce wasn't anything heavy and paired well with the salmon. Only thing was the Asian coleslaw was lacking season and dressing. For dessert, we did the cookies with ice cream and the cheesecake. The cookies came cold and truly feel like it would of been better if they were warmed. Cheesecake seemed too much. The white chocolate covering wasn't really needed for it. We ended up taking the coating off. Raspberry in the middle of the Cheesecake cake was good though. I found this to be a bit of a hit and miss!

Sharks is an upscale dining location in SeaWorld Orlando. It is pricey. As part of their summer visit promotion, we are able to earn this dinner for two at Sharks. Our total for two sodas, a Flatbread app, one filet and one salmon entree and one dessert would have cost about $140.00. We were responsible for the beverages, tax and tip. This was the fourth time we have dined here. This time I had the Filet. It was cooked perfectly and served with mashed potatoes, asparagus and carrots. The carrots were crunchy. Just as they should be. This is about the Cannoli cake. Four layers of yellow cake with mascarpone filling. Topped by a mini cannoli. The cake was light and moist. The filling was not too sweet. It was served on caramel sauce and chopped chocolate. It was very good. The only issue was the mini cannoli which sat on top was soggy from being in the refrigerator. It did taste good though. Our server Lori was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The one warning I would give is about the Lamb Chops. I have had them in the past and they were delicious. For some reason, they are now topped by BBQ sauce. You have been warned!! read more
5 stars for Sharks Underwater Grill in the SeaWorld Orlando theme park! This is one of their nicer restaurants, it's a dine in location where there is table service inside and the servers bring you food, while you sit inside with huge shark tanks around you - that was really cool! I got to try the Miso Salmon and the Peso grilled chicken sandwich- both were delicious. The Miso sauce that comes with the salmon has a great flavor. Also, if you are a member, your member discount works here which is nice. If you like sharks and want a nicer meal in the park, I'd recommend Sharks Underwater Grill. read more
It was my second time going to Sharks Underwater Grill at SeaWorld. The atmosphere looked incredible. I really enjoyed seeing the amazing sea creatures swimming around. The bartenders there were very kind and served us positively My tropical turtle hurricane drink that I ordered tasted amazing and had quite a punch. The lamb chop dish looked stunning and tasted fantastic and flavorful. I would definitely return to this flawless restaurant! read more

We came on a Saturday and just needed something peaceful. Look no further. The atmosphere was just what we needed. The food was excellent, the drinks were delicious, and our service was great. The best part was looking into the giant shark tank. Talk about peaceful. Probably one of the best experiences in SeaWorld read more

If you want to get out of the heat and have a sit down meal while inside Seaworld, this is the only place to do so. We placed our name on the list for a table for 2 for lunch. We were texted about 15 minutes later that they were ready for us. It seems like the restaurant does not have a very good seating system because we had to wait again in the long line to tell the hostess we got the text and then we're seated inside in a waiting area for another 10 minutes before a different hostess sat us. I was very excited about where we were sat because we were on the floor area right infront of the aquarium. I loved looking at all the sharks swimming around. Our server was very nice. We ordered the coconut chicken tenders for an appetizer and they were good and had a nice tangy dipping sauce. For entrees we ordered the grilled basil-pesto chicken sandwich and the wagyu beef sliders. Both were served hot and tasty. We were both satisfied and filled up to take on the rest of the day at the park. The prices were a little steep for certain items on the menu but then again it is a theme park restaurant. read more
So we got invited to go to Sharks Underwater Grill at SeaWorld for Magical Dining. Now at the time I wasn't really sure what that all entailed but we said we were in. We arrived at the park and went up to the ticketing booth and told them what we were here for and within a few minutes someone meet us at the gate and walked up to dinner at Sharks. Once at the restaurant we were quickly seated and I will say it is very cool inside. Views of the shark ranks all throughout the restaurant. Our waitress brought us our menus and explained what Magical Dining was. It was $40 a person for an appetizer, a main, and a desert. For my appetizer I went with the Cold Water Lobster Bisque even though I was a hot day but I'm good I did. There was a good amount of Lobster which I was pleasantly surprised by. It was a little salty but that's not an issue when you have lobster overload. For my main of of course went with the Filet Mignon cooked medium rare. Starting with Lobster Bisque and a Filet for $40 is for sure a good price and we still haven't even gotten to desert. The filet was well seasoned and tender. I will say it was more on the medium side then medium rare and Ashley was for sure more medium well then medium but I get it. They aren't a steakhouse and a place like his is going to mostly likely be playing it safe. When ordering desert I was already getting pretty full but that White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake was calling my name. It was very good and a huge serving. Honestly all the deserts were huge. For sure could be splice with someone or hell split it with the family. I did my best to finish mine off but I was the only one who did. This was honestly one of the coolest magical dining experiences I've ever had! When we got to SeaWorld's Royal Park, we checked in for our reservation and waited for an attendant to take us to the restaurant. And thank goodness they did, because that walk was way farther than I expected, and we definitely would've gotten lost. They dropped us right at the front, which was super convenient. We checked in again at the restaurant, waited just a few minutes, and were seated in a really nice spot. Honestly, it doesn't even seem like there's a bad seat in the house, every table has such an amazing view of the sharks. Watching them swim around while dining was just surreal. The three-course meal was so worth it because you really get high-end choices. For appetizers, I had the lobster bisque. it had this tangy, citrusy flavor, which was unexpected but still really good. My fiancé got the chicken quesadilla, which came with two huge slices that we ended up sharing. For entrées, I went with the glazed salmon (served with rice and mixed greens), and he had the filet mignon. Both were yummy! For dessert, I had the cannoli cake, which I actually loved because it came with a little side of cannoli. The filling tasted just like those Flintstone ice cream push pops from the '90s it instantly brought me back to childhood! It was fun and different. My fiancé got the chocolate cake, and even though he loves chocolate, he said this one was too chocolatey (the ganache was a bit much). Definitely something to keep in mind if you're not a major chocolate fan. The staff was amazing and super kind and helpful when it came to making choices. The whole vibe of the restaurant was so serene. Between the lighting and the view of the sharks and fish, it really felt like we were dining on an underwater cruise. Such a beautiful experience. I actually loved it so much that I booked another reservation a few days later to take family who were visiting. That time, I tried the steak, the Caesar salad, and the cookie with ice cream for dessert. The cookie was served very cold, so I think it was supposed to pair with the ice cream as a warm/cold contrast, but honestly, it didn't take away from the overall experience. And of course, one of the best perks you get to walk around the park after! We went to see a few animals and even hopped on some rides before ending the day. All in all, totally worth it. Sharks Underwater Grill is the place to hangout while in Seaworld. Lot of colorful and tasty cocktails. Amazing and superb appetizers such as beef sliders and crispy fresh french fries. Service is always on point amd don't forget to use your Seaworld membership pass for big discounts. read more

Wow! It's always been on my bucket list to eat at a restaurant like this. My boyfriend and I got a seat as soon as they opened. Pro tip: they start taking names at 1030am, get your name on the list ASAP. For an appetizer we shared coconut tenders. They were so delicious. My only complaint is that there were only 3. The tenders alone were good and the sauce that came with it was good too. For my dish I had salmon and my boyfriend had filet mignon. Both of our entrees were delicious! For dessert I had cannoli cake and my boyfriend had chocolate cake. SOOO GOOD! Our cocktails were good too! Our server, Barbara was wonderful! We had a great experience here. For 5 drinks, one appetizer, two entrees and two desserts it came to $215 before tip! Honestly, that's very reasonable! The menu is a bit limited, but I highly recommend dining here. read more

Excellent experience once again. Service is always great and is why I'm giving a 5 star. The view of the shark tank is phenomenal and a must see. Ambiance is elegant and elevated. The lobster bisque was good but could have used some chunks of lobster. The tempura shrimp is delicious and full of flavor. At $41 per entree the price point is elevated, but exactly what you would expect at a theme park. We also like the filet mignon. My son liked the macaroni and cheese. They have great mixed drinks as well. I recommend the Old Fashion and Puffins Kiss. One of the best things is that is absolutely beautiful to watch the sharks swim while dining. It's cold and clean and an excellent break from the crowds in the park. We love it and always eat here. I highly recommend. read more

The place was excellent food was great, but what was even better was the ambiance of the place. I was in awe of the giant aquarium with sharks and fish. My daughter stared the entire time my best friend's husband shared his steak with us, and it was delicious, soft, and tender at the perfect temperature. I absolutely recommend ending your day at SeaWorld here! The views of the aquarium from your table cannot be beat! The restaurant is considered upscale and the prices reflect that, but it's worth it. My dinner and cocktail were great. Service was surprisingly quick on a Saturday at dinner time and our server Gustavo was extremely kind. After enjoying the Magical Dining menu, I topped it off with a thrilling ride on the stand-up roller coaster, Pipeline, at SeaWorld. For the Magical Dining experience, I started with Lamb Chops as an appetizer, followed by a perfectly cooked Filet Mignon with mixed veggies. The meal ended with a sweet White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake for dessert--all for just $40! 18% was included in the dining but the waitress was so outstanding I had to increase the tip by a couple of more percentages. This is an interesting one for Magical Dining. Having wanted to try out the new Penguin coaster, I heard the Magical Dining here lets you into the park for free after you dine at this restaurant. Plus parking is included. Let me start off my saying, service at Sea World is a little rough. The parking attendant literally abandoned the booth right when it was our turn. The instructions on how to get escorted into the restaurant were unclear also. After asking around, we were told to go to the ticket booth, which was the correct thing to do so take note for anyone planning to do Magical Dining. Someone will escort you from there. I was skeptical about the food, but the lobster bisque, filet, and chocolate cake were delicious. Our server, Barbara, was one of the best I had anywhere in awhile. I was pleasantly surprised based on the reviews and the parking situation, along with how difficult it was to get escorted in at the start. The only real issue at the restaurant was that the cannoli cake was out after we had ordered it. read more
