Craving shrimp boil during our visit to Little Rock, we were on the hunt for a good restaurant in…read morethe area and found The Mighty Crab... and we definitely did not leave dissatisfied! Pulling into the parking lot, we noticed that the parking lot had at least eight cars, leading us to believe that this restaurant was popular with the locals. Upon walking in, we were quickly seated by a host and shortly greeted by our server, Tylia, who promptly took our order and was just as prompt, if not quicker, with the delivery of our bags of shrimp boil! I ordered a custom bag of half a pound of shrimp with heads and sausage, which came with potatoes and a corn cob. My associates ordered the same, but with snow crab legs. It was all piping hot and delicious. I only left sausages in my bag, but only because couldn't eat any more! Tylia was very responsive to our needs, often checking in with us to ensure we were well taken care of. This also prompted us to order additional items, like bread sticks and a cheese cake! I took notice of the establishment, noting that it was clean and well lit. In the end, we left with warm hearts and extremely full bellies.

Not sure if the lobster tail and crab legs weren't cooked properly but compared to any other seafood experience I've ever had in the same price it was the first, I spent more time trying to get the meat out of the shells than i should've. Finished up a volleyball game and wanted something good to eat before we headed home. My entire family has eaten here, but I have not. So we had it on over and I got to try it. We ordered the barbecue nachos and bacon wrapped jalapeños. Both were really food! The wonton chips are my absolute favorite when it comes to nachos! Jalapeño bites were awesome. My daughter and I crushed those in a heart beat! I ordered the white wing plate and it was ok. It supposed to be stuffed with cheese and jalapeños, but my guess is all the cheese cooked out or there was so little of it that it evaporated! If they can figure out how to keep the cheese present then it would be great. But since the cheese was not present, the chicken was on the drier side. Side Caesar salad was ok. Dressing was generic and plentiful! Everybody enjoyed the meal. We will go back and try some different items next time.

We are travelers coming from out of state and landed in Little Rock for an evening…read more When we asked a local we ran into for their favorite joint, they recommended Waldo's. When we arrived it was late and instead of glaring at us for coming in near closing time, we were greeted with kindness. We asked what their favorite was and we ordered it. Had the Foul Mouth sandwich combo and cheddar biscuits with some chicken nuggets. The chicken was absolutely delicious with a spiced crust perfectly fried. The chicken was moist and when we added the sauces, we lost our mind. The biscuits are amazing too, but with the honey butter they were divine. If you are a food critic or just a casual diner the cook was perfect and the flavor on point. The staff were phenomenal and deserve praise too. Thank you Little Rock! Arkansas, we love your people!

I took my 96-year-old mom here for the first time on St Patrick's Day 2026. I wasn't sure what to…read moreexpect because I'd driven by the place numerous times and it always struck me as a fast food place (which I don't do), but the "& BEER" always made me pause since crappy fast food places only serve children's drinks. So for St Patrick's Day, I was looking for place with inexpensive food, inexpensive beer, and FREE parking. This Waldo's met all three requirements. We went there with no expectations and we were not disappointed!! My mom ordered the rotisserie chicken sandwich and ate the whole thing which she rarely ever does with any sandwich anymore so it must have been good! I ordered the small chicken nachos, thinking I'd get served a tiny plate of food, and the SMALL was so large, I ended up taking half home with me! This will be dinner as well as lunch, especially after I smoke some St Patrick's Day green. ;) The beer was decently priced too, because they basically have happy hour all day. The only drink that was full price was the draft cider, but I can forgive them for that since they say that all draft beers are half price and technically, cider isn't a beer. Waldo's has a choice of three types of service: drive through/pick up service which is perfect for people under 21 and tee-totalers; counter service where you can still order alcohol but you have to do all the work and pay as you go; and full service at the bar where someone else does the work for you for a tip like a regular restaurant. Best thing at the end of the meal was NO STICKER SHOCK!! I estimated $35 (pre-tax&tip), and the actual bill was $35.57 (with tax). I always think I'm lucky if I estimate within $2 of the actual bill, so I can't beat that!! I will definitely eat and drink here again, and I recommend it to everyone!
