Now, a year later, I got harassed by one of the owners of the company for an entire day because he just noticed said bad review. He would not stop crying and complaining at me until I threw out the word police. The word Harassment didn't cut it, as the owner of BC Indy Construction clearly didn't understand the word or that what he was doing was wrong. Then, the next day, the other owner half apologized to me but also defended the actions of the other owner of harassing me. Again, amateurs. I DO NOT recommend BC Indy construction at all! You may as well hire a group of teenagers to work on your house. You'd get the same level of work and behavior, but at least there would be a good reason with the teens.

To be honest, I've had several challenges with this, particularly being overcharged just because I live in California and perhaps people think everyone in California is rich. My roof was having some issues after a wind and hailstorm this summer and I started to get bids to replace it. Jesse gave me a bid that was in the middle of the pack. Jesse of Sisk Roofing have been recommended to me by someone in Kokomo. After I reviewed his initial bid and contacted him to discuss it, he decided to take a second look at the roof before talking to me. Upon closer inspection, he determined only part of the roof needed to be replaced and that he would stand behind his work for 10 years on a job where he was roofing over a single existing layer. His roofing work ended up costing me over $7000 less than his original price. Obviously, Jesse is an honest man, who relies upon his reputation for his business. He understood my situation as a long-distance landlord and when I asked him for other referrals, he was a great resource. I now have peace of mind if any other issues come up with my property. I needed also to have insulation in the attic, according to my tenants and one handyman I had hired. Jesse pulled off every roof vent and determined that the entire attic was already adequately insulated. Who knows how much that saved me! And then he found me someone to put on a gutter. Not only is he honest but he stands by his word. A contractor who was going to do some other work under Jesse for me, didn't get me a bid when he had promised Jesse. Jesse told him he'd never refer to him again. So I know keeping one's word is important in the eyes of Jesse Sisk. I am grateful to find an honest professional!
