Shot from my GoPro - The image shows a person wearing a red glove holding a fishing line with a shark swimming beneath in the ocean. The background features clear blue water with other fish visible. The scene appears to be part of a shark fishing or diving expedition.

2nd time booking a shark swim with these guys and I can't wait to do a third. Coolest experience ever !! Cameron, Tony & Mickey are the best.

this was by far the most amazing experience of my life. we got to see multiple species of sharks and the crew took us to two locations. mickey, cameron, and tony were so kind and informative. i felt safe in the water with them and the sharks. they have been doing this for awhile and you can tell they know how to read the sharks. i cannot wait to come back and do it again!! i have not stopped thinking about this experience since i went. my boyfriend has had to hear everyday "i miss the sharks. i wanna go again" and when i do it will be with shark addicts! we got the video package and are SO excited to get to watch it because they were constantly recording awesome moments. thank you mickey, cameron, and tony! oh they also recommended other great things to do in the area. like the turtle rescue, restaurants, and a beach to find shark teeth!!

An individual wearing snorkeling gear, including a mask and wetsuit, is submerged in the ocean holding a fishing spear. A shark is swimming below in the clear blue water, with the surface of the water visible above. The scene captures an underwater moment during a shark diving or snorkeling expedition.

Five stars for an unforgettable shark experience off the coast of Jupiter, Florida! From the moment…read morewe hopped on the boat, the crew's enthusiasm and expertise were amazing. They provided a good safety briefing and shared things about the sharks, setting the stage for an adventure. The crystal-clear water made it easy to spot a variety of sharks, including bull sharks and even a glimpse of a sand, not from a wanting distance. but safe yes. The guides were incredibly there, making sure everyone felt good and throughout the entire thing. They were nice when answering questions and pointing out interesting marine life, making the experience fun. The snorkeling gear was in an okay condition, and the boat was clean and well-maintained. It's clear that this company prioritizes both the safety of their guests and the well-being of the sharks. If you're looking for an adrenaline-pumping yet responsible way to experience Florida's marine life, look no further. Shark snorkeling with this company exceeded all expectations, leaving me with an appreciation for these magnificent creatures and a desire to return for another dive. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an adventure they'll never forget! but there is no cage, don't hope for one! although i bet you can get some on other boats i think they just want you to feel comfortable, i do not recommend the cage! i feel even if your scared its epic with out it! not a variety of sharks, but thats ultimately fine.. its the best go 100%!!

They explained the boat and what we need to do to prepare us for the water and the sharks. I was a little nervous at first but my fear slipped away and I became one with the ocean and the sharks. I planned my day around this excursion and made it a pool day at my hotel. I left my hotel at 1 pm, got there in about 15 minutes and then drove an hour looking for parking. The sheriff blocked off the parking lot because it was full. Side roads were full. At this point even if I found parking I'm walking over the lagoon bridge. I called the company and Stevie said other guests and the tour guide, Parker, were also experiencing the same issue. Stevie tried her best to help by suggesting someone picking up etc. Still no time because of he excursion was starting in 15 minutes. I requested a refund because I was done at this point. Owner called me back and assured me that I would get a refund. So unless you plan on getting there in the morning to get parking, move on from any excursions at 900 Heron. This review was fair and honest, not slamming the company. However Kaleigh thought it would be cute to email me a nasty email this morning accusing me of being a bully. Photos of the conversations attached. At this point the unprofessional-ism of this company should be considered. Kaleigh, if you were only this respectful and professional as the face you are trying to show publicly privately. You can put whatever spin on this you want, you are the real bully and you can try to make yourself look good and make me look bad. You made this to be what it didn't have to be. As I have said, I am done with you, your poor attempts at damage control, and your company.

Their service and…read moreprofessionalism are evident, and they still have great personalities that keep the anxious divers relax. The story: My wife has been diving for 20 years but has never seen a hammerhead shark. When we were looking at different charter companies for shark diving, we found Emerald Charters and had multiple phone calls back and forth with Randy, the owner, setting up the trip and also answering LOTS of questions. My wife had no concerns whatsoever, but after talking to some people who told horror stories of being thrown into the water after they drop chum in, I had questions I have a hard time believing that that can even be true, buuut it did prompt me to ask Randy. So it turns out that Emerald doesn't do it that way. We would be following a guy with a bait bin (think of fish parts in a big cat toy) and never actually be in contact with the bait. Phew! Randy is in charge of the boat. The scuba portion and gear is provided by a concierge scuba outfit called Jupiter Scuba. We contacted them the days before the dive. They helped us fill out all the forms and made sure we had the gear we needed for the dive. It was going to be a 3-tank drift dive across a wreck field, so we knew that getting cold could be a factor in late March. We rented one of those giant, fluffy warming coats for my wife during the surface interval. She gets cold usually by the end of the 1st dive, and we wanted to make sure she got all 3 dives in to have a chance to see her hammerhead. The place you meet is under an overpass where there is a fishing dock and ample parking. It also appeared clean and safe - but the town is also pretty nice. We passed the turn on the first try because we were looking for an address marker on a storefront when all we had to do was turn left under the overpass. Pretty sure that was on us. The gear was all there waiting for us and we went through the Nitrox mix on our tanks and checked our rental gear. We only rented fins, wet suits, and hoods, but others came with just bathing suits. The gear was in good shape and easy to use, and after we had all checked through in the parking area, they brought all the gear down to the boat. All we had to do was walk. At the boat, we met Randy who introduced our Skipper, Brandon and deck hand Shelly. They both did a great job the entire time. Brandon handled the boat like a pro. He minimized rolling and was always to us quickly and safely when we surfaced. Shelly was on the spot for everything we needed including helping me escape from the bungie holding my tank in when I had only seconds to get up and dive. She rocks! The boat was comfortable for the 14 divers we had. The head was clean and easy to use. We saw 20 plus lemon sharks every dive. They are actually sort of tame. During the second dive, an 8 foot, juvenile tiger shark came in at the end, and the third dive had all the lemons, the tiger returning and staying most of the dive, and even Thor, the 10 foot great hammerhead, visited. It was amazing!! the return back to the docks was comfortable and easy as was the offload. The Good: Nice boat, comfortable and well appointed. Very knowledgeable staff who helped us with every problem that arose. Great dive and a wonderful day. The Bad: Nothing at all. The mediocre: Really nothing. Overall: We will dive with Emerald again when we return. I have no reservations about recommending them. Since you read this far: Some people have a problem with bait diving for sharks. It is true that this activity is modifying their behavior to a certain extent, but so is every other thing that man does in the ocean. I believe in conservation and not preservation, so I believe that the more people have a chance to see sharks in person and experience the simple, calm, and pleasant interactions, it will change their opinion about sharks in general. I believe this will lead to greater conservation efforts and people will STOP EATING SHARK FIN SOUP! Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk :-)

Christina Houle was our guide for the day and previously in week helped me finish my diving certification. She was professional and made me feel at ease the entire time. I highly recommend her if you are thinking about diving and looking for an instructor! 5 star ! She also helped our party out the day of the dive. We DEFINITELY will be going back!!! She made my diving and PADI certification such a great experience. Mark and Randy and entire crew were friendly, knowledgeable and gave precise directions. Safety is always a focus in diving and this company really is top notch. Cannot thank them enough for the most amazing experience.

Needless to say, when I was presented with the "opportunity" (please notice the punctuation) to take a private class it only made sense to take it from Ted, and now I truly understand how exceptional Ted truly is at teaching. Not only was the coursework extremely educational but Ted made it entertaining with personal stories, personal experiences and hands on training. Never would I have thought that the coursework would leave me wanting more and more knowledge about diving, how the body works and my number one priority how to dive safe and how to be a safe diving partner. Like I said above, I was not a diver at the beginning of this class, but Ted has so much patience (talking me through a panic attack just to even get my face in the water), he explained what he wanted me to do step by step and then would demonstrate it, by far the easiest way to learn. Ted never pushes you, it's on your schedule, your comfort level and when you're ready Ted is always right there with you. Ted gave me such confidence in myself and abilities that there are lessons I learned during this Immersion Freediving course that I will apply to my "above water life". I may not be the deepest diver, have the best, or any technique and still have a lot of learning to do, but Ted turned me into a freediver and now I am hooked. I can't wait to continue my diving education, increasing my depths, improving my technique and I guarantee I will be doing this only with Immersion Freediving and Mr. Ted Harty, no one else compares and I now understand why he is the best and will be my only recommendation to anyone wanting to learn to dive. Thank you Ted for truly being excited for what I accomplished over the course of five days, you made me feel awesome about myself and for opening up a whole new world to me. Your enthusiasm and passion for what you do is contagious and I look forward to working with you again. So stay tuned you have created a monster and I can honestly say if it wasn't for you I never would have had the "true dive" experience. Cheers to you and I will see you in the water chasing the most awesome feeling in the world.

Previous to taking this course, I was diving 35-40ft depths comfortably and could do a 2 minute static breathhold. Since taking this course with Ted, I was able to complete an 85ft dive and 4'25'' static breathhold in the pool. Simply amazing! I never realized how important equalization was at these depths and Ted has a skype session with every student before the class starts. The class size is limited to only 5 students, which is a big reason I took this course over other courses offered. Ted is a terrific instructor and was always focused on everyones individual needs, providing that "one on one" attention. The classroom sessions focused on safety, techniques and physiology. Safety was also a part of every ocean session and I learned a great deal. I was not a safe diver prior to taking this course, but now have the knowledge to easily adjust my diving style. We had a lot of dive time in the ocean and even more fun! Ted's dive boat "Sink Faze" was very nice and comfortable and much better than dealing with a big charter dive boat. I am very happy I decided to take this course with Immersion Freediving and can't wait to get back out in the water for further ocean training with Ted. Jason Rice Longboat Key, FL
