I've visited twice so far and both times, I was able to order right away at one of their two kiosks. I can imagine kids hanging out here on weekdays after the nearby high school is dismissed, but when I went in the early afternoon and on the weekend, it was a quick stop in and out. I've really only interacted with the one employee at the counter who makes the drinks, but he was welcoming and helpful, answering a couple questions I had with a smile. + HOUSE SPECIAL MILK TEA ($6.75): The menu describes this as having "special sweetener and rich tea taste", made with black tea, condensed milk and evaporated milk. The employee said most people will order it with boba or lychee jelly, but I opted for it without toppings and at 25% sweetness. For me, the 25% was just right, and I don't think I could tolerate a higher level. I believe this is their version of a Hong Kong Style milk tea and while the flavor was fine, the tea seemed diluted and didn't have that richness as advertised. + PINEAPPLE GREEN TEA ($5.55 special* + $1.00 cheese foam): This was quite refreshing and crisp, but even at just 25% sweetness, it was on the sugary side, considering it also had pineapple pulp on the bottom, so the natural sweetness of the fruit came though. Again, the tea flavor was weaker than I would have liked, but very pineapple-forward. I enjoyed their cheese foam which was velvety, balanced between milky and salty notes, and had a flavor similar to marshmallow. All toppings (boba, sago, pudding, etc.) are $1.00 which is on the steeper side compared to other tea shops. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program where you can earn "bubbles" for each drink purchased. Keep in mind that it doesn't automatically track when you enter your phone number... you actually need to take an extra step to opt in and sign up. *They have monthly specials where a couple drinks from their existing menu are offered at 15% off, like the Pineapple Green Tea I got at the discounted price. I am up for trying Tea Talk again, but with hopes that I'll be able to actually taste more of the tea next time. 3.25 stars.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #121…read more On my previous visit to Tealogy over a year ago, I received a drink that was decent enough to to satisfy my boba cravings, but with some definite shortcomings. During that visit, I saw some rarer varieties of milk teas on the menu, which intrigued me enough to revisit over a recent weekend. Tealogy has a single kiosk for convenience, which I used to place my order. I do want to say Tealogy's interior doesn't seem to be the most clean. On my visit, there was a clear musty smell throughout and the floors were very sticky. Spring Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($7.50) - This is clearly a high mountain oolong given the flowery oolong fragrance. It's quite a strong flavor, although muted a tiny bit by a somewhat excessive amount of liquid non dairy creamer added. The sweetness level is also a bit too high, most likely because of the sugar soak of the boba. Still, the drink is quite pleasing to sip on. The boba unfortunately isn't great. The pearls are far too firm. They are inconsistent in size with most being somewhat lumpy shrunken balls, like they weren't given enough time to expand in boiling water. While still a little bouncy, it's clear that these have a lot of room to grow. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 3.5/5 TieGuanYin Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($7.75) - This one tastes somewhat vegetal and malty with a hint of scorched leaves. It's quite a bit weaker than the high mountain with most of the tea flavor unfortunately drowned out by the creamer. It's definitely a weaker drink than the Spring Milk Tea. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Tealogy remains a 4. They serve some good quality tea and some unique varieties not commonly found at other boba shops. Unfortunately their boba is mediocre. I really wish they had the da hong pao (Wuyi red robe) on weekends! Why only Tuesday-Thursday? Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

The tea base is light and crisp without a hint of astringency, striking the perfect balance between sweet and sour. You can taste the genuine, aromatic lemon freshness in every gulp--super refreshing and deeply satisfying. The history of Mascarpone dates back to the late 16th and early 17th centuries in the Lombardy region of Italy. Legend has it that its origin was quite accidental: a duke's chef was making dessert when he accidentally dripped lemon juice into boiling milk, causing it to curdle. Trying to salvage it, the chef drained the curdled whey, mixed in sugar and spices, and unexpectedly created a brand-new cheese with a velvety smooth texture. This became the predecessor of modern Mascarpone. This milk tea is essentially a gourmet dessert in a cup! Its soul lies in the towering cloud of whipped cream on top. Unlike standard whipped cream, this rich, velvety cap is infused with Mascarpone cheese, giving it an exceptionally luscious milk flavor and a silky texture that melts in your mouth without feeling heavy or overly sweet. The cocoa nibs sprinkled on top add a delightful layer of texture, while the smooth, aromatic milk tea below pairs the tea and dairy flavors in perfect harmony. While matcha is widely celebrated as a symbol of Japanese culture today, its roots actually trace back to China. Originating during the Sui and Tang dynasties, matcha reached its peak during the Song dynasty (960-1279 AD). The tea tradition back then involved grinding tea cakes into a fine powder, pouring boiling water over it, and whisking it vigorously with a bamboo whisk to build a thick, frothy foam--a ceremony known as Dian Cha. During the Song dynasty, the Japanese monk Eisai brought tea seeds, along with these processing and whisking methods, back to Japan. Over time, the practice took deep root, absorbed Zen philosophy, and evolved into the traditional Japanese tea ceremony (Sadō) we know today. Thousands of years later, this vibrant green, ceremonial beverage remains a soothing sanctuary for the modern soul. This matcha drink executes "freshness" to absolute perfection. Crafted with premium matcha powder, it preserves that signature delicate bitterness and clean sweetness, skipping any harsh astringency in favor of a natural, grassy aroma. The real highlight is the perfectly rounded scoop of matcha ice cream on top. As it slowly melts into the matcha base, the creamy dairy notes seamlessly blend with the tea, transforming the texture from crisp and refreshing to rich and velvety smooth.

I was still waiting when one of the employees finally asked what I was waiting for. After checking, she found my cup with my name on it sitting there, while my drink had been left in the blender. Another employee looked at it and commented that it had become too watery. Instead of remaking the drink, they simply added more ice, blended it again, and handed it to me. Unfortunately, the drink contained large chunks of ice that wouldn't even fit through the straw. I ended up having to drink it directly from the cup, and even then I kept getting big pieces of ice. For a drink that cost nearly $9, I expected much better quality and customer service. I understand that mistakes happen, but I was disappointed that the drink wasn't remade after it had been sitting so long. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.
