I have ordered at several Happy Lemon locations around the area, and this is by far my favorite! I always order the same drink, a F3 with no sugar and double lychee jelly, the staff always make it perfectly and even recognize me when I walk in. Service is super fast...My drink was made in wayyy less than 2 minutes! I ordered the strawberry matcha with boba. The drink looked half matcha and half strawberry purée but upon mixing and shaking it tasted yummy. Boba quality was a bit tough, flavor was good but the texture seemed old and just not very delightful. Boba quality could be improved. Decent boba spot in the area with an extensive menu but not a spot I see myself frequenting. Do appreciate they have Ube available as well as avocado smoothies. One of the best, tastiest, freshest mango smoothies I've had, this includes Indian restaurants & boba drink shops. The mango was fresh, the flavors were perfect, not too sweet, not too tart. This location is right off the 520 freeway which makes for a perfect road drink if you're commuting to home or work. This huge drink was under ten bucks (with tip)! Plenty of free parking in the lot. We came here on a weekday late evening at 730pm. Ordered 2 bubble waffles and a drink. I wanted to try the Oreo bubble waffle. They gave me a heads up that making the waffles would take about 18minutes. After some observation, I noticed why it took that long. They have 4 waffle makers but since it was late, they were just using one while the other ones are already clean or in the process of getting cleaned. So, while I was observing, I noticed that she was still in the middle of cleaning one of the makers and didn't even start on my order. It was only after she was done cleaning that she made the waffles. I don't understand. Why can't you just put the batter in the maker and clean the other makers that weren't in use?? It didn't take 18 minutes -- more like 30 minutes! How did I know? My drink had a timestamp and I knew what time I left. OMG....why?! That gal was taking her sweet time and cleaning very slow might I add -- one aluminum foil piece at a time and wrapping the wires. There were still customers coming in 15 minutes before they close too (they close at 800pm). Boo on them - customer service, oh really? Not for me this time. Pfft...they need to train the workers on how to manage their time and service. read more

I like this store because of the fun, friendly people and the ever-changing music selections. I order an A3, no ice, no sugar, and it is consistently good and always served with a smile. The drinks are yummy and fun. The service is crap. I wait to order and a girl walks up. No hello or anything. I say hello...twice...still no response. At that point I awkwardly order my drink, and ask a question about the sweetness scale and she just responds by pointing to a menu. On top of that, she's got white cream all over her face like an acne treatment. There's nothing wrong with acneic skin, but it's surprising that you could literally look like you've rolled out of bed and walked into work, especially a food establishment, not giving a shit. It's 2:30PM btw so it's not even early enough to use that as an excuse. Is it me or have we done away with customer service and standards entirely...and to think you're supposed to tip on all of this. I'd rather deal with an automated service. read more

The location is new so take the review with a grain of salt. But here's my first impression, and I am a regular attendee of Happy Lemons. Unfortunately the staff was not trained well enough before opening in my opinion. Long waits which is fine since they are new- however I ordered two waffles, and I was given one, and they weren't aware I was waiting for another, and then unfortunately the second one was nearly given to someone else. (Who touched it) then I was given that same waffle. Gross. In addition to this, I feel like my drink was made incorrectly. One of my favorite drinks is the grapefruit tea line, And since they weren't able to accommodate another request, I got my regular which is this grapefruit one. Normally it has grapefruit Pulp. Unfortunately I think the team blended mine and all I was left with was juice that was mediocre and a whole bunch of frost with grapefruit skin on top I have attached pictures of our drinks, and also a photo of one that I have gotten at another happy lemon made correctly and deliciously. read more

So happy to have Happy Lemon in Redmond, good location, easy access and plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is roomy and the service is quick and efficient. There is minimal seating but enough. We ordered the iced milk tea and an iced honey lemon green tea. We made slight modifications to our drinks and they were done as asked. We ordered original bubble waffles and they were delicious. If you visit for the first time definitely get the waffle you won't regret it. You won't, I promise...mmmm waffles...mmmm bubble waffles.... Oh and they have different flavors too. This location is 2 weeks old. I could notice it was a family business and all of them were working hard. It was only my order placed and it took less than 10 minutes to get 2 drinks. Yes, it was a lot for it. Buy on the other side, it was fast compared to other packed locations. So why wouldn't wait a bit and be considered and supportive with a new business? :) But I am also with other Reviewers that they should train more when opening because Customers deserve it when paying that kind of money for a drink! This location had barely two small tables. It is a small place. I guess they will be expanding outside in the future? I don't know why every location has all the items on their website. I gave it a three for a few reasons. With that being said, if you live or work by this place, it's fine. I got a taro bubble tea (%50 less sugar) with tapioca pearls and a waffle with the dip. I'm used to the bubble tea to be blended but this just had ice in it. The flavor of the bubble tea was fine it was just a bit warm and it seemed to have more sugar than what I expected. The waffle was similar in texture to a cruller which I like. However, it took about 15 minutes to get. There were people who were waiting before me and were still waiting for their waffles. Like I said, what I got was fine but just know what you're expecting. The staff was nice but slow. I would suggest looking online at the menu before you go there unless you are proficient at bubble tea. read more

This is first time I've been to this location. We were there almost closing time but they still were nice to get our orders. We ordered the lemonade kumquat and strawberry shortcake with extra cream. It was very fast service and it was very easy to order. I still loved my strawberry shortcake since it doesn't have tea so I won't have caffeine which is good since it was evening. As a self proclaimed, "boba snob" I absolutely love this new establishment. Despite the location being a bit out of the way, I was blown away by the phenomenal customer experience that Happy Lemon offered. When I visited this location, my wife and I ordered the jasmine green milk tea with boba, the mango jasmine green tea with lychee jelly along with a chocolate bubble waffle with oreo puff cream. For starters, the texture of the boba was PERFECT- not too chewy, but not too soft. Additionally, the drink itself was immaculate. The sweetness lingered on my tongue in just the right way and I was wowed by the efficiency at which it was created. Moreover, the first thing I noticed when I grabbed the drinks was that the barista was incredibly generous with the amount of boba that was put into my drink. It really felt like I was being properly taken care of. She was really nice too! Once again, this place was much more impressive than expected, and I am excited to return again! read more

So glad to have another boba option on the Eastside! I visited during their grand opening and had the Roasted Milk Tea with Taro tapioca pearls. It was delicious - the tea flavor was prominent, not too sweet and the taro pearls added a unique dimension. They're a great option if you're looking for the taro flavor but don't want to buy a taro drink. Service was great - despite it being a busy and very hot day, all of the employees were patient and friendly and our drinks were prepared in a timely manner. Will definitely be returning! read more

I knew Happy Lemon from their store in Bellevue Square and have recently discovered one in Redmond. What I care about the most in any bubble tea shop is consistency of quality. I learned that some shadowy actions happen in many tea shops, such as diluting the tea to make more tea in order to increase revenue. However, Happy Lemon controls their quality pretty well. The quality in 2 locations is the same. I really like their salt cheese bubble tea and puff cream bubble tea in both hot and cold versions. Their waffle is very good too. hopefully, they will keep up their good work so I will be their loyal customer forever. read more

We're used to going to a Happy Lemon in Edmonds that has a wide variety of offerings. Stopping at the Redmond location was a mistake. They barely opened on time and nothing was ready for the day; their boba was still cooking so everyone who came in with us at opening had to stand around and wait for the boba to finish, which caused a huge backlog of orders. the TV screen menus were off or broken, and everyone was trying to parse through piles of laminated menus at the counter when they got up there, which meant it took even longer to order. the staff was obviously not prepared on time and overwhelmed (by their own poor decision making) which made for a not great customer experience. I'm not sure why, but this location has very limited offerings; the location in Edmonds has epic variations of flavored corn dogs and mochi donuts but here they only do waffles. it was a big let down. I'll never come here again unless its super convenient and I only want a bubble tea. read more

This place makes some yummy bubble tea drinks. I had the milk tea boba 50% sweet and less ice. The drink had the perfect sweetness level for me because the boba was already sweetened. I like my boba cooked nice and soaked in brown sugar or honey. I also tried the waffles, which had a crunchy exterior and gooey inside. I would definitely get this and dip it in pure maple syrup which I have at home. The staff was friendly. Overall this was a good experience. read more

I love boba, and happy lemon is one of my favorite boba shops! Their menu has lots of different options, and they have different toppings + you can adjust the ice/sugar level. But one thing is that whenever I come, they never have tapioca (the black boba balls) available. I just wish that whenever they are low on boba they could start to boil some more so that everybody gets boba. Service is great and friendly and I'm always greeted with a smile :) But overall it's a great shop and you should visit. read more
