I thought I would try this brow place out in hopes of finding a brow person that I can trust with my eyebrows...well, this is not the place. They charge $14 for eyebrow threading plus a $0.40 fee for using a debit/credit card. The lady did my brows and then that was it. No shaping, like with some razors or tweezing. On top of that, my left eyebrow is missing hair in the front now and I was growing everything out so it would be a nice shape once threaded. Just a waste of money and time. Time to grow these brows out again and just shape them myself. The place looks clean when you walk in. I didn't get a good look, it was spacious though. All in all, don't go here. I was skeptical on getting my brows thread because I have let them grow out for over two years. Well thanks to shapes Brow bar my eyebrows are NOW uneven, short and they look hideous. I'm honesty so upset at my self for even stopping in this place. I calmly pointed out her mistakes, as opposed to fixing the issue or offering a discount she said, "oh I see now it's shorter," I paid and just left because to be honest I was going to go off and instead held it together. Happy eyebrows = happy face :-) Threading is always my first choice. Waxing isn't good for people with sensitive skin and honestly not really too sanitary. I've gone to other spots - spas, bought Groupons, etc but always end up back here. The ladies listen to me - and I've always left with happy brows! I've been having a membership here for a while and most of the girls do a nice job however there's a lady that's always there and she does not take the time to do your eyebrows...she literally did mine in like 30 secs and she called it a day. It was very sloppy, rough, and there was still hair left in between and the arch, she doesn't even clean the area up and doesn't offer a Kleenex afterwards unlike the other girls and this happens every time she's there. Located in Deerbrook Mall, Humble, Tx, shapes is a great option for getting those brows done! However, DO NOT get them done by the 'young girls'. I've been a customer here for over a year now, and never saw any technicians other than a handful of the regular, Indian women (the professionals!). I dropped in on a Thursday afternoon, and saw 3 young girls (high school maybe) doing brows. I didn't see Rebecca (mid aged with glasses) or any other regulars. I didn't want to have to come back, so I was pretty much obligated to have one of the girls I've never seen, do my brows. So sad I did. I told her I wanted them cleaned up, as I already had thick arched brows. She did not follow directions. She completely over did it on one side, and mid service, I looked in the mirror and had one thick one thin, with 2 different shapes. I asked her to stop, and asked if she was new. She rudely commented she wasn't new (hmmmm). So she said the owner was in and would be back soon, so I waited a few minutes until she returned. The owner was clearly a little embarrassed, apologized, and quickly evened me out, although my brows were then much thinner than I had or wanted =\ I wasn't charged for my service, which was classy and appreciated. I took my daughter to get her eyebrows done . And she was next , so I ask the lady that became available to do my daughter's eyebrows. And for no reason she refused. She gave me a nasty attitude and she said no . And she went in to help another lady that came after us . I asked why she refuse to do it and she will not speak to me and told me to wait for the other lady . I asked why and she ignore me . I asked to speak to a manager and she started speaking in another language with the other workers and ignore me . I asked for their name and the manager's contact info and still was ignore by her . Another lady came out from the back and gave a number and name . Which it was the wrong number . I called 3 times and they would not talk to me and hung up the phone. Stay away from this place . The workers name that refused to help my daughter was Anita . Which now I am doubting if It's even her name since they gave me a fake number to contact a manager there . I see in the review that someone took a picture of her with a similar issue . This Anita person is a very rude and unprofessional person . Horrible place , horrible customer service . I have gone to this place many times it is a matter of crossing your fingers and hoping to get a decent technician. If you go to get threaded here please find one person and insist that, that person only does your brows. After growing my eyebrows for over 5 weeks; I made the mistake of giving Hamada Akhtar a try. She pushed my chair back before even asking how I wanted my brows. When I told her I wanted my brows thick she did not respond. Afterwards, they were thin which means I have to start growing them all over again. I should have gotten out of her chair when she ignored me. She left abraisons in my brow area. I plan to find a place with a bit more customer service. I would also like to see one person each time, I get my brows threaded. - Never again!! read more

DONT BUY THERE PRODUCTS!!! They have no problem selling them to you, however when it comes to return them due to unsatisfactory with product, they will not let you return. Keep in mind NO WHERE ON RECEIPT DOES IT SAY "ALL SALES FINAL". When you go to return they tell you there is a 24 hour return policy or 7 days return policy. Yeah they do not know what the situation is on return policy they make it up. No where in establishment is return policy posted. I have been getting my eyebrows done since I was 8, I started getting them threaded when I was 12. This has been my worst experience. The young woman wearing all black did my eyebrows. She did not greet me. She seemed annoyed to have a customer. She kind of expected me to know what to do. She did not acknowledge me.She stared at me until I told her i wanted my eyebrows done. She walked up to the chair without telling me it was my turn and just stared at me once again. When I was finished again, she just stood there without telling me I was done and then I realized myself to walk up to the mirror. She did not ask if I even liked them. That was the most painful threading experience i've ever had. The process was also the quickest which explains why they look different and she didn't bother to trim them, I never felt her brush them in order to do so. She did not have change for me at the register? Instead of her insisting to give me my dollar back she just started at me , so I told her to keep the change. She needs to be trained in threading and customer service. It wouldn't kill her to smile, I have a natural RBF but I can at least fake it with customers. I don't know why she has a service job, she does not seem happy to be there. This happend Friday around 2 pm. read more
