It's once you step in you see it's something special. There's plenty of stock including produce, a nice butcher counter, and we'll stocked dairy and grocery isles. A big chunk of the space is set aside for dining. Good thought except it was empty when I stopped by around 2:30 in the afternoon. This might have something to do the lack luster salad bar and @ 10.95 a pound 0I found no reason for greens and the other things offered. The hot bar had much more action and looked pretty good if not just a little picked over. Most of that must have been to go as the cafe/dining area remained dark and empty. I've been just once but very much plan a return visit to this very cool grocery Cafe

It made it pretty clear that customer experience,…read moreconcerns, and nutrition aren't really priorities here -- and apparently that's "ok with them." I wanted to update my review after seeing the owner's response because, honestly, it made the experience feel even worse. What I wrote is exactly what happened. We specifically ordered drinks without Red 40, received the wrong drinks, and when we pointed it out respectfully, instead of simply remaking them, we were told we could just add flavoring to drinks we already didn't want. That felt dismissive and uncomfortable. The owner's response of "we're not for everyone and that's ok with us" came across less like accountability and more like not caring about a customer's experience. Mistakes happen -- that's understandable -- but how they're handled matters. What especially stood out to me was being told "sorry you felt you had a bad experience," because I didn't just feel like I had a bad experience -- I did. For a business centered around "nutrition," it's disappointing to feel like concerns about ingredients and what's actually in the drinks are brushed off. If caring about ingredients, transparency, and customer service means we're "not for everyone," then I think this response speaks for itself.
