But like a pro, she was able to start conversations with me to get my mind off the wax and we talked about all kinds of topics and before I knew it, we were done! That's a truly great specialist right there who knows how to care for their patients that are a little bit more sensitive to the service. She also didn't try to push any products on me which I loved. The vibe of this location is friendly and clean. There is only ever one other person in the waiting room so I feel that there are plenty of specialists for the appointments and you never wait long. I've come early several times and was able to get my wax early so they are truly flexible. I really appreciate the service here! In asking what I was paying for I found that the first time it was for a pre-treatment & after treatment since they dyed my whole head to get it all one base color. Then the second time was an additional conditioner added after she washed and conditioned my hair. So now that I was educated, I asked them not to add anything on unless it was shown to me and approved by me. Haven't had an issue since. Still go there and will continue to. It's nice to be pampered and enjoy a glass of wine while your hair is getting done!

I showed the nail tech what I wanted and he started right away -- however, they don't soak your nails, cut off the dead skin and cuticles, lotion massage -- none of that. They didn't have builder gel, so I went with Gel X - even their shortest tip was still pretty long. I had to ask for it to be filed down a couple times. Not to mention, the glue under the nail was super thick. I asked for it to be cut down and filed three times before I left and it's still a huge chunk of glue under my nails, especially my thumb. Not sure if that's par for the course with Gel X, but it's not comfortable. The actual design came out beautiful, and for that they get the stars they did. However; $105 for this feels like a gut-punch. It wasn't even a full manicure in regard to aforementioned lack of cuticle care, lotion, skin cutting, etc. I'll only come here again if I have no other option.

When I arrived there was a short wait before I was seated at his table. He and his neighbor Zack were very friendly and welcoming right away. I showed them my inspiration image but requested orange and we got to work. I appreciated that Gin used his own creativity when creating my nail art and offered suggestions for extra details like using glitter. Zack and Gin made great conversation, and I appreciated that I was offered beverages like water, soda and wine. I knew that I would love my nails because I was getting excited watching each step in the process and seeing how Gin was expertly crafting each nail from application to shape and design. The final product was a work of art and the nail techs and manager thought so too as we took tons of photos and videos after. Once that was finished up I saw Beo for a pedicure. Beo was also very friendly and I enjoyed talking with him about the Orlando area, his children and Disney. I opted for the regular pedicure and it did just the trick. The scrub used smelled like heaven and he used a gel that I'd never seen before which was very soothing and I appreciated that. With all that being said I can honestly say that I loved my experience and the service that I received and I would recommend both of these technicians to anyone looking for someone or wanting to make a change. After 3 weeks, it's time for me to head back and I can report that my nails held up perfectly, and have no breaks. I did have one small issue with my pedicure. Afterward I noticed that the second to last toe nail on my right foot was a little too long and eventually it broke, taking half of the remaining polish with it.
