But like a pro, she was able to start conversations with me to get my mind off the wax and we talked about all kinds of topics and before I knew it, we were done! That's a truly great specialist right there who knows how to care for their patients that are a little bit more sensitive to the service. She also didn't try to push any products on me which I loved. The vibe of this location is friendly and clean. There is only ever one other person in the waiting room so I feel that there are plenty of specialists for the appointments and you never wait long. I've come early several times and was able to get my wax early so they are truly flexible. I really appreciate the service here! When I returned to have them corrected, the response was dismissive, and I was told that the color was simply "supposed to do that." Unfortunately, the customer service was still an issue. After the salon provided me with the wrong total--and after my friend and I had already been overcharged--the owner followed me outside to my car, knocked on my window, and demanded an additional $5. The situation could have been resolved calmly inside the salon, but the way it was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational and uncomfortable. No apology was offered for the billing confusion or the interaction afterward. I understand that mistakes happen, but how a business responds to those mistakes matters. Between the premature chipping, inconsistent billing, and poor handling of my concerns, I ultimately chose to take my business elsewhere.
