We stopped into this little Chinese buffet on a Sunday night about an hour before closing and had a genuinely great experience. They are also under new ownership as of Spring 2026, and the staff made a very positive impression on us. Our waiter kept drinks filled, cleared plates quickly, and even offered us to-go drinks before we left. The service really stood out. The buffet selection was a little limited at 8:00 PM on a Sunday, which is understandable, and I'm guessing they probably offer more variety during busier hours. They told us they would refill the fried rice and within minutes a fresh batch was brought out. My father-in-law mentioned some potatoes he had enjoyed on a previous visit, even though they were not part of the buffet that night, and the manager personally brought out a plate just for him. That was above-and-beyond hospitality. The food itself was exactly what you hope for from a classic Chinese buffet. Lo mein, General Tso's chicken, fried rice, beef with onions, teriyaki chicken, egg drop soup, those soft little sugar donuts, fresh orange slices, even hard boiled eggs. Everything at our table disappeared and everyone was happy. One fun bonus: the restaurant is in a former Pizza Hut building. If you inhale especially deeply in the vestibule, there is still the faintest trace of that unmistakable 80s and 90s Pizza Hut smell lingering in the air. read more

Are you like me? Have you been eagerly waiting for the reopening of Shanghai? Called them to order my usual favs. No they said you need to come here and order. OK so I drive there and go inside and their shorty little buffet table is the first thing I see. They ask me one Sir? And I say no I don't want buffet I want my order cooked and they say sorry we don't do that anymore. So why didnt they tell me over the phone it's just a shorty little buffet now. What a joke. They won't last a year without their regulars who ordered what they enjoyed and came to pick it up. I spent 40 every week for 15 yrs there. Not any more and until they return to what they were they will never see my money and I suggest you people who loved your ability to order your favs do as I do and complain and fo not use the shit little buffet. read more

This place has a lot of bad reviews and it's a shame. It's not anything fancy, that's for sure. If it was more expensive it'd have 3 stars. But the prices are good and the food tastes great, usually. This place had the absolute worst "lunch buffet" I've ever seen and the food was barely edible. I would not return here for any reason. The only point I can say they get from me is for the young woman working the cash register. She was sweet and kind. She was a pleasure to speak with as well. This place is a causal Chinese sit down restaurant with your usual Chinese food options. I usually get lo mein with steak or vegetables and have never been disappointed. The wonton soup is good as well and the crab ragoons are good but very greasy. Overall, a good place to eat but nothing spectacular or different. read more

The decor of this place is that of an old outdated Pizza Hut building. Get takeout to avoid staring at it. Comparable to the Americanized Chinese food that you find in the frozen section of a grocery store. The shrimp tastes almost like hotdogs for some reason. The fried offerings are edible. If you don't feel like driving outside of Corydon for a Chinese craving, this'll do (but barely). We really need a better Chinese buffet restaurant in this town. read more

We went here for dinner tonight. The server was absolutely attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious. The Mongolian beef was fried perfectly, the Orange chicken was perfectly sweet and tangy, with real orange rinds, the pork and tofu was tender, and everyone, including my hard-to-please kids, devoured the crab Rangoon. We will be back. And we're gluing to try the takeout next time as well, as it seemed to be the popular thing to do. read more

I was on my way to McDonald's for a couple McDoubles when I thought to myself, "Eh, I'll try the lunch buffet here. I want a variety." This place is a hole in the wall. Went to the bathroom to wash my hands and it was dirty. The sink was low and covered in dirt. The way the paper towels are dispensed kind of grossed me out but whatever. I could already tell, when I walked by the buffet, that I should probably have went with McDonald's. The selection was terrible. About 8 unlabeled dishes. There was: Some crusty looking cabbage. Some runny --what is it?? General Tso's? I can't be sure. Very dry looking Sweet and Sour Chicken. Green beans and some kinda pork? Very bland colored noodles and fried rice. Some nasty fried potatoes which appeared soft and not crunchy. Egg rolls. Was it bourbon chicken? Very runny looking and not sure. My main beef: Where the hell are the crab rangoon? Every self respecting Chinese joint serves crab rangoon on their buffet. NOPE. Not this place. You lose a couple stars on this point alone. So I started eating. I tried a little of everything which was easy to do with such a small spread. It was edible but not very good. The food left a slimy film in the back of my throat which I had to cough forcefully to clear up. The most potent flavor in all the dishes was the grease and it was very very bland otherwise. The chef did come out frequently to inspect his fare with pride and wipe down the buffet. He kept it stocked. So I give him props for this. Long story short: I should have ate McDonald's. read more

The food and service are both amazing, and I always enjoy eating here. The lunch buffet is consistently great, and whatever I have to eat has been cooked and seasoned perfectly every time I've been. This business is very poor sharmis we called before we came we got there and to our unexpectations, when we walked in there was no Buffet Karma and it plainly states on their ad Buffet all-you-can-eat but as I said we called before we went, and they said yes there's Buffet, and a waitress was reluctant to even wait on us, we asked her why no Buffet you said only between lunch or something like that, did not offer some seat or a menu just in case we wanted to stay. And because we called before we went we were told All Day buffet and all you can eat so we drove down there 52 MI from Mitchell Indiana just to eat there and try out their food. And I would call ahead and order for pick up, service inside can be incredibly slow, as they are working on take out orders. I'm a local, and of the three Chinese restaurants in town, this one has the best tasting food by far. It is a small family-owned business. Mom takes orders, Dad is the main cook, and daughter is the waitress. They have a lunch buffet every day from 11 AM to 2 PM for less than $5.50. For dinner, you order from the menu. Not fancy, but if you want great tasting Chinese food, this is the place to go. read more
