Talk about a pleasant surprise! I was in town on business and after getting checked into my hotel I felt a rumble in my belly and I knew it was time to eat. There was nothing nearby peaking my interest so I resulted to ordering off Uber Eats. They had a good rating and reviews so Asian Pot it was! I ordered the crab rangoon and the general tso's tofu with rice. It didn't take too long to be delivered and they met me at the hotel entrance. My food was piping hot but I didn't have any plastic silverware even though I marked that I needed it in the app. Thankfully the hotel staff tracked some down for me. Everything was super delicious. The tofu was crispy and stayed crispy during delivery which rarely happens, so bravo! The crab rangoon was also wonderful. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. The portions were also pretty big and the price was super reasonable. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to order from here again. read more

Decided to come here because they had hibachi listed on their menu. It wasn't what we thought it would be when we arrived. I ordered the chicken hibachi dinner and my fiancé ordered the orange chicken. We also opted for the crab Rangoon since it's sweet. The food was served quickly. The presentation was really nice. I was not a fan of the hibachi - too sweet and I really wanted something savory. The crab Rangoon was lacking flavor but was better dipped in sweet & sour sauce. My fiancé was pleased with his meal. The eggrolls looked overcooked but he said they were good. I don't see us coming back here. read more

I do love this sushi! If you haven't tried it you should. I always get the deep friend sushi. It's the best. It will fill you up. Now I don't wait much for it as I do an online order then go pick it up. To make it faster. You do have to ask for dipping sauce. We tried this spot because it is next to our hotel. The service was good and quick. Lots of people were coming and going so it seems like a lot of folks like to eat here. The place is a little run down and dingy but not gross. Our group ordered a bunch of different items and we were hungry so we ate it all up! The fried rice was pretty flavorless and very firm which makes me think they may use sushi rice to make their fried rice. The yumyum sauce was not good, it tasted like liquid mayonnaise. I know the yumyum sauce is Mayo-based, but this had no flavor, it wasn't good. The sauce that came on the shrimp and vegetables was good, the veggies and shrimp were good in general. Decided to stop in here with a friend of dinner. We ordered the Singapore noodles, beef fried rice, sesame chicken, and a few sushi rolls. Although I like sesame chicken I rarely order it because the chicken is often overcooked, but not in this case. The fried rice and the Singapore noodles were delicious. I probably would have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for the sushi. We ordered a california roll and 2 boston rolls. The California roll was as expected but the Boston roll was a big miss for me. Mainly because they added mayo to the top of the roll and there wasn't any cream cheese. Was it horrible in taste...nope. But it wasn't what I was expecting. read more

Went out with my wife for a quick bite to eat. Kind of your normal Asian restaurant when it comes to run options and style. I went with the chicken lo mein and my wife got California and yum yum sushi rolls with a side of rice The chicken lo mein was really good. They let me order without vegetables (a lot of Asian places won't pick out or cook fresh). The chicken go noodle ratio was proportionate as well. The wife said the sushi rolls were pretty good. Said the spicy roll wasn't beer spicy. But overall no complaints on sushi. Big complaint was when mixing the soy sauce with the rice. The soy sauce despite saying low sodium was extremely salty. Not very good at all. I made the mistake of drenching the rice in soy sauce before trying thus ruining my whole plate. All in all was overall satisfied. I'll try it again someday. read more

we stopped in about 7:30 pm they were not crowded so we ordered one of our favorites, Orange Chicken. we are from out of town so thought we would try it. was close to our hotel. the food was AWFUL. Generally we like this kind of food but will never set foot in the Asian Pot again. The food was tough. As we chewed, the orange chicken just got bigger and had to spit it out. We wondered how this place could serve this kind of food and stay in business. read more

Ok so the food was good but I am giving it 2 starts for 2 reasons. One it was pretty over priced. We came it towards the end of the lunch period but they still charged us dinner price. For 4 of us to eat it was $50. Two this was very very typical Chinese food. It wasn't bad but there was nothing special about it at all. The staff was very nice and the restaurant was very clean, but it was over priced. I will not be going back. There are Chinese places closer to me that won't break the bank for lunch. read more

The sweet potato roll and avocado rolls were delicious. We got the generals tsos tofu and I normally would expect some broccoli or something green in it. But it was just sauce and tofu. I think I would ask them to add broccoli to the dish and it would be perfect. read more

Ordered delivery from here a few days ago and it was very tasty. The dishes were sizeable portions, decent prices and a higher quality of meat than most Chinese restaurants. We ordered kung Pao chicken and General Tsao chicken. Both were very tasty and went well with the fried rice. Will definitely order from them again on ubereats. read more

Food is very good, but the place is a little odd. Order food at the counter, but they bring it to you. Served on real dishes. But both plastic and real flatware. This place was absolutely delicious! The sit down area was a lot smaller than I expected but the location is great for me. The woman at the counter nicely help me decide what to order because I had lots of questions as the menu did not have many pictures. You could also see the chef making fresh sushi at the counter as well. They have three different menus to choose from with lots of different options, one was sushi, one was hibachi and the other was asian/chines. I ordered beef with snow peas there are 3 different size options to choose as well, lunch, entree or dinner. With the entree you get to choose between a egg roll or soup and they have a lot of soup to choose from. It seems as this place is full of unlimited options to choose from so no matter what your craving they will probably have! read more

Asian Pot is my favorite place to go for great Chinese at a good price in Louisville. Everything I've had on their menu is amazing, the General Tso's chicken is tender with a beautiful crisp and covered in the best Tso's sauce I've ever had in my life. Other great items: Hot and Sour Soup, Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoons, Lol Mein, and their sushi! Holy trout, their sushi! They make it right, and the list of options is seriously impressive for such a small place. Try the Snow Crab roll, or the Cha Cha Roll (fried salmon roll, with jalapeno and cream cheese drizzled with a house sauce). They always have specials and come up with new, seasonal, sushi options every few months. This is one of those places where you can go, pick something random from the menu (maybe something you've never heard of even) and have confidence that it will be delicious. The owners are great too, always friendly and smiley, and willing to go above and beyond for their customers. To make it even better, this place is open late, which is great for the local third-shifters to grab a bite to-go on their way in to work. read more

I kept coming across this restaurant on Yelp so I checked it out. I ordered online so I wouldn't have to wait once I got there. The map directions would've led me in the wrong place, but I checked out a map in advance because something didn't seem right. It's off of Fern Valley Road and the directions would've had me off of Preston. The food was ready when I arrived and it was fresh tasting Chinese food. The price is right. I was so disappointed with my meal. First, the twice fried egg rolls were so hard they crumbled when I bit into it. The fried rice was old as if warmed over. The meat was tuff; dehydrated. My husband didn't even finish his meal and he eats everything. Absolutely the worst meal I've ever purchased from there. Usually I get the spring rolls. Should have not strayed. Now that I've came here a few times now, I do really like this place, especially for the lunch prices and if you get soup with a combo lunch it's a good amount that you're getting and I definitely liked their egg drop soup. Also, it was less than $6 for their donuts and I was not expecting there to be 10 of 'em, it was a lot. One time I did order the general tso and it was kind of hard or overcooked but other than that it's usually pretty good. The fried wings were okay, nothing spectacular. The sushi isn't bad compared to other places I've been in the area as the special rolls are often very big pieces but the regular rolls are sometimes a little plain at times but I have noticed the special rolls don't seem to come with wasabi or ginger as with the other rolls. I do think online they could use more of a drink selection as the only options are just a bottle of sweet tea, pepsi, water, and mountain dew. read more
