We had two areas that needed to be fixed. The more challenging one was the speaker in our 12 foot…read moreceiling had been pushed partially down and dangling a bit, breaking the plasterboard. Chase (with helper Andrew) patched it up perfectly, dealing with the fact that one of the 4 speaker mounting points had been broken. The other cuts, in our wall, were also patched perfectly. Texture was applied to both, matching the rest of the ceiling and wall. We were given the option of doing the painting ourselves, or they could come back and paint it. We chose the latter, so Chase came back a few days later (after everything had dried) and completed the job. No one could possibly tell there was repair work done in any of the places. They were on time (or a bit early) both times. They laid a paper runner to the area, preserving our carpeting (and wore booties at other times). Casey (the owner) was super responsive via text, and was a pleasure to work with. The price was a bit more than I had originally expected, but the amount of work involved was also more than I realized. I highly recommend Wallen's Drywall for any drywall job you need done.

Quality work, quick, and pricing seemed reasonable. In regards to the air conditioning issue that caused a leak due to improper installation, crowne communities went radio silent on me after I notified them of the problem. Not sure why crowne communities would do something like that, and it was the second issue we had with water leaking through our roof due to their build quality. In summary RZ Drywall is great, crowne communities has not been.

Since I only could access the in-law unit bedroom wall side, I requested mineral wool, two layers of quietrock with green glue in between. Positives: The ceilings themselves do look really good…read more They were responsive, easy to schedule, and good at communication. They were fast. The Negatives: Some of our brand new ceiling HVAC vents now need new duct taping and sealing. They left a crazy amount of mess on our lawn and sidewalk, even with wasting a LOT of water power washing their mess away into the street gutters, which in itself was inappropriate. There is no way it's ok to just wash that stuff into our water systems. They gouged the corners of knee walls that now need patching. We can repair our house. But the water waste and contamination was not acceptable.
