I had my special needs son with me and while I was distracted, papers were put in front of me to sign. 3 of the papers were for 1) warranty 2)appearance protect 3) tire and wheel protect. I told the finance person that I didn't want anything that didn't come with the vehicle. Unknown to me, I ended up signing for them. This was done at closing on a Saturday. I emailed the finance guy and the salesman as soon as I got home and looked over the paperwork. I told them both that I never wanted them. On Monday morning I was told that the loan went through and the only thing they could do was refund my money for them. The money was never refunded. I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau. I have emails and texts to back this up.

Driving on the first leg of our trip home from western PA in our 2016 Flex, the battery charge…read morelight came on almost immediately. We drove about 260 miles to our stop for the night on Sunday. We had watched the warning light stay on and then go off for a while and then come back on. We had another 340 miles to go on Monday but our son advised us not to go before getting it checked since it appeared to be the alternator and the car could stall on our way if we tried. We were expecting a snowstorm on Tuesday at home in NH so we were searching for a place that could take care of us on Monday. We settled on Key Ford as our only chance. We ended up dealing with Service Advisor, Brian Kozuck, and he indicated they would do their best to get us on the road by the end of the day. Brian kept us informed as they diagnosed the problem (it was the alternator which was bench tested and failed) and worked on replacing it. All looked like it would be finished by 5pm closing but at the last minute things were not checking out. The replacement alternator was not putting out the required amperage. It was 5pm and looking like another 2 nights at the hotel so we could drive home after the storm. Brian offered to drive me back to the hotel and we started out. About 5 minutes into the drive he got a call from his mechanic who indicated he had found that a ground wire had burnt out and they could take care of it. He thought this would take care of the problem so we turned around and went back. They continued to work, making new ground wire and putting things back together. Almost an hour and a half later (well past the 5pm closing time for the shop) the car was fixed. We were able to drive home Monday night and beat the storm that dumped 8" of snow on Tuesday. We can't thank Brian and the mechanics at Key Ford enough for working beyond closing time and helping us get home ahead of the snow!! THANK YOU BRIAN AND YOUR TEAM!!

I replaced the…read morethermostat the week before and I knew that it was a minor issue. the thermostat that I installed had a safety that would stick open if the car ran hot it was designed to function that way. he replaced it anyway! with the exhaust leak he was to replace a flange and it would fix the leak well took it back cause it started leaking again a month later. took it back to him and he used muffler putty to seal it and charged me $20. so now it's leaking again, I looked underneath and saw that he never replaced the flange. charged me $380.28 for the original job on 03/08/2021 and then $20 when I came back! he's a crook! I called plenty of other shops, and he was the only one who agreed to take a look at our broken down vehicle. He even waited for us when the tow truck got the car there later than expected! He diagnosed the problem after a 45 minute inspection of the ENTIRE vehicle, and even though it was not a happy occasion (the car broke down!!!), he made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. He knows his stuff, and it seems like he genuinely cares about you and the car. I cannot say how grateful we are that he was there for us. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++!!!

My late model Audi went in for a deer strike, and Ray quoted out a new door and fender. He returned…read morethe car with the front fender crumpled and twisted in several different areas. and the headlight installed improperly. I brought it back, and he whined that my insurance company Liberty Mutual told him not to replace the fender, but to reuse it. This is without telling me. Our estimate is the contract for a new fender, not some half-assed hack job. It took multiple calls and visits for him to accept the car back. Still not properly repaired after the first time, it took THREE attempts for a decent repair. Much of the fender is covered by plastic flares, so who knows how the actual repair was done, under the skin. Bottom line, Ray at Herbies jerked me off and ruined my car through a HACK repair job. He wasted my time, pissed me off and ruined my car. I traded it in a few months later. Even though I had a few tiny repairs previously that went ok, I would NEVER go back and recommend that NOBODY use this shop. They will hand you back a crappy repair and try to pass it off as good quality. This technique works for an old minivan, but not a newer Audi. Ray needs a dressing down, he's a scamming piece of dirt.

Once he arrived, he was suddenly told it would cost $250 for a tow that was less than 10 minutes away. When he asked to have the vehicle taken to our own mechanic instead, they said it would be an additional $150--something that was never mentioned before. To make matters worse, they refused to unload his vehicle unless he first paid the $250. We felt like we were backed into a corner with no real choice but to pay. A reputable towing company should be upfront about pricing before performing a service, not disclose the cost after the fact when the customer has no leverage. Our experience lacked transparency, professionalism, and basic customer fairness. We will never use this company again and strongly encourage others to ask for all pricing in writing before allowing them to tow your vehicle. 1 star is actually very generou!!! no stars!!!
