Driving on the first leg of our trip home from western PA in our 2016 Flex, the battery charge…read morelight came on almost immediately. We drove about 260 miles to our stop for the night on Sunday. We had watched the warning light stay on and then go off for a while and then come back on. We had another 340 miles to go on Monday but our son advised us not to go before getting it checked since it appeared to be the alternator and the car could stall on our way if we tried. We were expecting a snowstorm on Tuesday at home in NH so we were searching for a place that could take care of us on Monday. We settled on Key Ford as our only chance. We ended up dealing with Service Advisor, Brian Kozuck, and he indicated they would do their best to get us on the road by the end of the day. Brian kept us informed as they diagnosed the problem (it was the alternator which was bench tested and failed) and worked on replacing it. All looked like it would be finished by 5pm closing but at the last minute things were not checking out. The replacement alternator was not putting out the required amperage. It was 5pm and looking like another 2 nights at the hotel so we could drive home after the storm. Brian offered to drive me back to the hotel and we started out. About 5 minutes into the drive he got a call from his mechanic who indicated he had found that a ground wire had burnt out and they could take care of it. He thought this would take care of the problem so we turned around and went back. They continued to work, making new ground wire and putting things back together. Almost an hour and a half later (well past the 5pm closing time for the shop) the car was fixed. We were able to drive home Monday night and beat the storm that dumped 8" of snow on Tuesday. We can't thank Brian and the mechanics at Key Ford enough for working beyond closing time and helping us get home ahead of the snow!! THANK YOU BRIAN AND YOUR TEAM!!

I bought a vehicle from Key Ford of Exeter. I thought I got a good deal until I got home and looked…read moreover the paperwork. I had my special needs son with me and while I was distracted, papers were put in front of me to sign. 3 of the papers were for 1) warranty 2)appearance protect 3) tire and wheel protect. I told the finance person that I didn't want anything that didn't come with the vehicle. Unknown to me, I ended up signing for them. This was done at closing on a Saturday. I emailed the finance guy and the salesman as soon as I got home and looked over the paperwork. I told them both that I never wanted them. On Monday morning I was told that the loan went through and the only thing they could do was refund my money for them. The money was never refunded. I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau. I have emails and texts to back this up.
