Before dealing with Bob, I had my car body repaired at an auto body shop in Carbondale...a few weeks post repairs a clear covering over the paint started to bubble and peel... Thinking maybe there was a recall issue with my Honda Civic's paint ,I went to Burne Honda ,where I purchased my car..The service manager kindly looked at what was happening to the paint called Bob Theil and asked him to diagnose what .might have been the cause... Bob said yes and for me to go right over for him to evaluate my car's paint issues.... As I traveled from Maine to Pennsylvania on Sunday I had unexpected car trouble; at times I did not…read morethink I'd make it. We still have to travel from Pennsylvania to Florida, so we needed to have the car looked at. We were able to get it into the local dealership in Wilkes-Barre. Unfortunately they told us we needed a new transmission, which would cost $9000, and it would take at least two weeks to repair it. My brother-in-law checked with a friend of his to find a local mechanic who could give us a second opinion. He recommended Dan Riley, a transmission specialist who owns Reliable Auto Repair in Wyoming, PA. Dan listened to us describe the issues, took apart the applicable areas of the car, did some needed adjustments, and the car is now working fine. Even with the new brakes it needed the bill came to less than $1000. We are very grateful there are still ethical car repair facilities in the world. Thank you Dan.
