Tina called me back the next day and was able to get me in that afternoon. I met her, we chatted about what happened and what I really wanted. I am very picky about my hair, especially when it comes to keeping my length, and Lizet completely understood the assignment! He…read morealways does a great job, and I've actually recommended him to other people because I trust his work. That being said, the front desk experience was disappointing again. This time it was the main girl who handles scheduling (last time she wasn't there and another staff member who helps with blow-drying was covering, and that experience was just as annoying). During my appointment -- while I literally had hair all over my face -- she walked up asking me to book my next appointment and pay. I had to tell her I couldn't even see because there was clearly hair covering my face. It was obvious. It just felt like she wasn't reading the room at all. Moments like that really disrupt the vibe of the appointment. It feels unprofessional and honestly gives me the ick. When someone interrupts the flow like that, it takes away from the experience and, in my opinion, probably affects people's tips too because it kills the mood right before checkout. Obviously, I'm gonna pay before I leave and schedule my next appointment. I feel like she doesn't read the room and comes at the most inconvenient time. It's kind of a buzz kill. I genuinely like my stylist and the work he does, but if this continues to happen, I might have to reconsider coming back.

I wanted a natural, lived-in blonde that would be low-maintenance enough for me to only come in 2-3 times a year. She totally nailed it. This photo was taken almost a year later, and I love how my color has grown out with no harsh lines. Gale is a true artist when it comes to hair. Her technique and attention to detail are on another level--something I haven't experienced with other stylists. Gale is the best! *Gale Bergman at Sproos Salon (Instagram: @beautybygale_b)

I can honestly talk on and on about how she is truly the most amazing and talented person ever, a true angel and my favorite person ever. I wanted to do something fun, creative, wild, and different with my hair, and Gale was pivotal in the gameplan. She has such an insane grasp of color knowledge and hair knowledge, I am just always amazed at her ability to look at my hair and know exactly how and what we can do to make it work. I'm admittedly lazy and bad at making appointments (she obviously knows this by now lol), so she ensured that my crazy hair color journey will have some room for hair growth and not have such a jarring/awkward phase. I owe her my life! Lastly, I did want to add that I love the Sproos salon as a whole too. The space is super comfortable, and they really make great use of the small space. Everyone is friendly, and I love listening to the conversations all the hair stylists have with their clients when I'm waiting. Gale is such a wonderful addition to the crew, and I am so grateful for both Sproos Salon and Gale for all my confidence!

Extremely disappointing and completely unprofessional. I wait months to get an appointment, plan my schedule around it, and then end up having it canceled at the last minute. Once is understandable--things happen. But having this happen three times in a row, every single time I've booked, is unacceptable. At this point, it's not an isolated inconvenience; it's a pattern that shows a complete lack of respect for clients' time. I've given this salon multiple chances, but I will not be returning. There are plenty of other salons that can provide a more reliable and professional experience.

Synopsis: Lenka is a hair stylist who deserves to be in her own category. Passion literally runs…read morethrough her fingertips and sometimes I wonder if she's working with magic. Lenka has 2 doctorates. One in hair and the other in personality. Every time I leave her chair, I feel like either a centerfold for a playboy mag or a model fresh off a Pantene commercial. May 2016: If you're looking to have the BEST haircut, color, or treatment... LENKA is your girl! I think everyone has made the mistake of trusting the wrong people with their hair and end up regretting it. Before walking into L/S I had a outgrown ombré, split ends and in need of some follicle TLC. Lenka gave me that and so much more! She brought my limp, frizzy and dull hair to life. I literally went from having dull hair to healthy vivacious commercial hair. I asked her what she suggested for my hair as I have a 2.5/3 sets of hair on top of my head! We decided on taking 3 inches off, lightening the weight of my bangs, coloring roots, and a hair blowout. I felt a little nervous about cutting so much off but knew it was worth it. I never felt at ease and comfortable in a salon. Lenka is attentive to your needs and wants... Is friendly and really makes you feel like you've known her for ages. She won me over with her technique, personality and her perfectionism! I feel absolutely beautiful every time I leave the salon and what more can you ask from a stylist ? Where - ever I go, people ask how beautiful my hair looks and I always give credit to Lenka. Every woman wants to leave a salon feeling refreshed and the epitome of a Pantene commercial... That is exactly how I feel every time I get up from Lenka's chair. I plan to come to see Lenka for a very very long time. October 2016: Long overdue and certainly needed. Scheduled my appointment @ 230 and left around 530 or so. Lenka always puts in the work and it shows. I had some severe outgrown roots that were in need of a touchup. I have pitch black/deep dark brown roots and she was able to lighten them without over-drying my roots. Take a look @ the pictures and see for yourself! The girl is everything. I recommend both Lenka and her stylist (next to her chair)... finished me up with a blowout and I must say, she is great. Seems to me like this salon has some talented and polished stylists ! Def try anyone out. You won't regret it!

What a delight to find such a fresh salon that doesn't strive for an attitude, but is a joy to visit and happens to have some of the best stylists around. Mela has done a remarkable job tapping into my wife's hair DNA and creating styles that are both lively and precise. David already had a sense of what I needed from my hair, and his expertise and attention to detail are without peer in the Marin/Sonoma area. I know, having been here nearly 50 years. There's fun in the air when you visit the salon and you can palpably sense the warm connection between the stylists and the customers. That could come off as "B/S" (pun intended - reference the business name); if you've ever been to a hair salon or barber shop that feels uptight or alternately like a hair mill, however, you can readily discern the difference here. Half of it is about execution - they know their art and are laser-focused on making you look your best. The flip side of the coin is about creating a comfortable, light experience that makes this the place you want to visit to catch up with old friends, if that's your desire. Collectively, that's why a visit to Haedt's is unique and, for the most part, not easily replicated by any salon in the area.
