Synopsis: Lenka is a hair stylist who deserves to be in her own category. Passion literally runs through her fingertips and sometimes I wonder if she's working with magic. Lenka has 2 doctorates. One in hair and the other in personality. Every time I leave her chair, I feel like either a centerfold for a playboy mag or a model fresh off a Pantene commercial. May 2016: If you're looking to have the BEST haircut, color, or treatment... LENKA is your girl! I think everyone has made the mistake of trusting the wrong people with their hair and end up regretting it. Before walking into L/S I had a outgrown ombré, split ends and in need of some follicle TLC. Lenka gave me that and so much more! She brought my limp, frizzy and dull hair to life. I literally went from having dull hair to healthy vivacious commercial hair. I asked her what she suggested for my hair as I have a 2.5/3 sets of hair on top of my head! We decided on taking 3 inches off, lightening the weight of my bangs, coloring roots, and a hair blowout. I felt a little nervous about cutting so much off but knew it was worth it. I never felt at ease and comfortable in a salon. Lenka is attentive to your needs and wants... Is friendly and really makes you feel like you've known her for ages. She won me over with her technique, personality and her perfectionism! I feel absolutely beautiful every time I leave the salon and what more can you ask from a stylist ? Where - ever I go, people ask how beautiful my hair looks and I always give credit to Lenka. Every woman wants to leave a salon feeling refreshed and the epitome of a Pantene commercial... That is exactly how I feel every time I get up from Lenka's chair. I plan to come to see Lenka for a very very long time. October 2016: Long overdue and certainly needed. Scheduled my appointment @ 230 and left around 530 or so. Lenka always puts in the work and it shows. I had some severe outgrown roots that were in need of a touchup. I have pitch black/deep dark brown roots and she was able to lighten them without over-drying my roots. Take a look @ the pictures and see for yourself! The girl is everything. I recommend both Lenka and her stylist (next to her chair)... finished me up with a blowout and I must say, she is great. Seems to me like this salon has some talented and polished stylists ! Def try anyone out. You won't regret it! read more

My wife and I were desperately in need of a local hair establishment that could help her stretch her style needs while giving me a stylish cut that I can count on. What a delight to find such a fresh salon that doesn't strive for an attitude, but is a joy to visit and happens to have some of the best stylists around. Mela has done a remarkable job tapping into my wife's hair DNA and creating styles that are both lively and precise. David already had a sense of what I needed from my hair, and his expertise and attention to detail are without peer in the Marin/Sonoma area. I know, having been here nearly 50 years. There's fun in the air when you visit the salon and you can palpably sense the warm connection between the stylists and the customers. That could come off as "B/S" (pun intended - reference the business name); if you've ever been to a hair salon or barber shop that feels uptight or alternately like a hair mill, however, you can readily discern the difference here. Half of it is about execution - they know their art and are laser-focused on making you look your best. The flip side of the coin is about creating a comfortable, light experience that makes this the place you want to visit to catch up with old friends, if that's your desire. Collectively, that's why a visit to Haedt's is unique and, for the most part, not easily replicated by any salon in the area. read more

Still going to Lenka for cuts, but also seeing Mela for color, as she seems to have a special touch with my hair. This shop is such a fun, nice place to be, and I love all the staff. Grab a coke, have a seat, wait your turn to be gorgeous. Everyone is getting pretty booked up these days so I'd recommend calling well ahead of needing your clips, though! read more

I loved my experience at this salon. First of all it is very clean & you can tell the owner put a lot of thought & time into the design of the salon. The salons interior design is very cool! Must check it out! Secondly, the customer service was fantastic & I felt very comfortable with David & Lenka. Last but not least my hair came out perfect. I was very specific about what I wanted & he did exactly as I asked. I got a simple trim, balayage highlights & a blowout. The price was very reasonable. read more

It is extremely hard finding a good hairstylist who gives you what you really want... Some just do what they think looks good and others listen to their customers and deliver outstanding outcomes. My hair is super thick and hard to work with - I wanted my hair color to be a deep black and straight. David, my hair genie, worked his magic and completely changed the way my hair looks and feels. I have never had so much volume and shine! He is honest and will make sure you don't walk out of his salon looking like a goober. I have found the perfect hair stylist; a blessing in disguise. It's only the first day and I have gotten endless compliments on how lush my hair looks. Thank you David! read more

Lenka made my mother very happy with a perfect hair cut. As my mother has health problems I take her to her appointments. Lenka is as kind and respectful as she is talented. I recommend this salon for all ages and style needs. My next haircut will be with Lenka. read more

She has lots of experience and I could tell by the way in which she managed my hair. She's a pro and I love her! All the stars!!! Thank you Cat!! Also, this is the most adorable shop I've ever been to. Very fun, welcoming and cool!! Great decor and laid back atmosphere!! read more

I went in with a faded bad hair cut, but came out looking better than I could have imagined. Aimee took the time to really talk to me about what I wanted, how I styled and the products I used. Aimee showed me what colors would look good with what I currently had and how we can progress in the future. The cut she gave me was amazing, I am still trying to grow out some parts but so happy with what I have currently, we even talked about adding a fun bright pop of color streak in the future. The salon is so clean and well organized, it has such a great sense of style. Aimee has a new client for ever!! I am beyond ecstatic and would recommend her to anyone! read more

Finally a hair salon in Novato that has all the perks of a high end salon without the pretentious BS! I adore David and his magical hair powers. I have always been a 2-3 hair cuts a year kind of girl but I love coming here so much it has quickley turned to 5-6 cuts a year. I haven't seen any of the other stylists but can hands down rave about David. Thank god I don't have to drive to SF for haricuts anymore.... read more

If I could give David more stars, I would. He is an AMAZING hairdresser and colorist. He has the ability to know the cut and color that will be most flattering. I love the salon, his energy, his knowledge, his products, his abilities! I took my husband to get his haircut and he said it was the best haircut he has gotten in his life. What more can I say? Stop reading this review and call to make an appointment. I look forward to getting my hair done by David every 6 weeks! read more

Lenka is the best hairdresser ever. Hands down. 500 stars for her and the rest of the crew.

I went in last February for a color and cut. The color was good but the cut was uneven and noticeably so. I have short hair so maybe those with long hair are happier, I'm not sure. The girls there were very nice and accommodating and the pricing is great, I just wasn't happy with the end result. read more

I've been getting my hair cut by David for almost 10 years now. He started by just coming over to my house and I've loved his work ever since! Now years later he has a beautiful shop and the experience has only gotten better! I've recommended him to all of my close friends and family and only heard praises for his work. If you want a quality cut or color Headts B/S is the place to go! I will continue to recommend him to anybody that's in the Marin area. He never disappoints! read more

I was recommended by a friend, and I have never been so happy with a salon experience. I got the Bayalage highlights, a trim, and my eyebrows waxed. All turned out perfectly! The very talented stylist, Lenka, gave me her full attention and demonstrated a perfect balance of listening to what I wanted and recommending her vision of what would look good on me. I will most definitely be back! read more

Lenka is fabulous! She is knowledgeable about different hair types and found a style that not only looks great but fits my hectic lifestyle. She has been able to squeeze me in with very short notice on more than one occasion. She also did a fabulous job saving my teen daughter's hair after several bad home dye jobs. Lenka is a true gem. read more

Lenka is awesome! She helped me out on her day off and I couldn't be more grateful! She colored and cut my hair and it looks great! Couldn't be happier! read more

I wish there was no limit to the amount of stars I could give David; he is an absolute hair genius! After a horrid experience going from Blonde to Redhead at another salon, David worked his hair magic and fixed what I thought could not be fixed. My hair went from multiple shades of pinks, oranges, and browns to a magnificent shade of a violet based red and I could not be happier. David also cut and fixed my damaged ends and I love my new hair. David is an absolute hair angel and I would recommend anyone to get their hair done by him. read more

I just had the best experience with Lenka! She squeezed me in because she's awesome like that, gave me fabulous blonde highlights and a lovely cut. I'm very happy and highly recommend this place - I will return for sure. read more

Lenka is amazing! She did my hair for my wedding in the fall and it was perfect. She was able to take my idea of what I wanted and turn it into something that was better for my face shape and suited my dress perfectly. She also styled my bridesmaids' hair and they all looked gorgeous! I've been back to her to get my hair cut twice since and each time I walk away feeling fantastic and loving my hair. I've recommended her to my sister, my grandmother, and a couple of my friends, and they all love her. Plus the salon has a fun, relaxed atmosphere that isn't like any other salon I've been to. I feel right at home! read more

David brought my hair back to life. I also enjoyed his company and conversation. He was willing to stay late for me for my first appointment and gave me an awesome hair cut. He is extremely affordable and deserves a big tip :) read more

Lenka is the best!! I went to another stylist in SF a few weeks earlier to dye my hair darker, but it had all faded away within a week. I had a wedding I was going to over the weekend, and Lenka was able to schedule me in last minute to work her magic!! She did a great job getting the hair color I wanted, and it has not faded at all after 2 weeks :)! Very happy with the results~!! Lenka is also very sweet and hilarious to talk to lol so it was definitely a fun time!! read more

Desperately in need of a haircut since 9 months I finally land at this salon in the search of a hairdresser who will understand my thin, wavy/curly hair! And voila, I found Lenka!! Based on yelp reviews I scheduled a haircut with Lenka just 3 days before my appointment. I was promptly addressed at 4:30 pm. Lenka listened to me patiently, saw the model pictures for the look I was hoping to get and worked her magic into my hair! She also made suggestions about how she was gonna tweak the haircut a by so that I don't have to blow dry everyday to get the look. I absolutely love my hair and it was totally worth the wait for 9 months to get a haircut... totally recommend Lenka and her very competitive rates! I think I finally have a goto hair person...! read more

Aimee is did an amazing job on tinting and waxing my eyebrows. Definitely coming back

Lenka did an amazing job turning my long brown hair into layers of dark ombré red hair! This was my first time getting my hair colored so I had no knowledge about anything hair related and she did an awesome job and explained everything along the way. If you need a cut/color job done definitely stop by and ask for Lenka! read more

Haedt's B/S is an amazing destination where I always come out feeling (and looking) better than when I went in. David has an innate ability to understand exactly what you want or need in color, style and cut and has the extensive training and years of experience to pull it off. He is super creative and it is obvious that he loves what he does and loves taking care of his clients. He really listens and I always trust his instincts. Lenka and Amy are also fabulous! The atmosphere and entire vibe at Haedt's make me happy! read more

OK- let me tell you about my girl Aimee- the queen of waxing! This gal is amazing! I've been going to her for 5 years now to do wax/tints on my brows and lashes. She has this crazy way of being able to fix the weird cowlick in one of my eyebrows, she tints my blond eyelashes and brows the perfect color- not "WTF?" black, but a dark brown so they are seen. Back in the day, when she was at Benefit, I would watch her work on multiple people at the same time and each person would come away with a different shape brow to fit their face shape- it was fascinating and flattering to know that not everyone in Marin was walking around with the exact same brow shape! I've lived in Sonoma County for two years now, and still make the hour drive to Aimee because I can trust no one else. Not only that, she's down to earth and fun to be around and doesn't mind if I rush in for an appointment smelling like horse and with my hair in a ball cap. If you need your brows done, shes the only one to trust for the job! Now that she does hair, I've enjoyed every haircut she's done- I have crazy hair and she always makes it look amazing. Seriously, my incredible blowout even helped me talk my way out of a ticket from the PoPo right after I left the salon. Thanks Aimee! read more

David, David, David! I love him. I first started going to him about a year ago and as everyone can imagine, going to a new hair dresser can be anything but fun, but David made me comfortable, the passion he has for his work made all my fears vanish and I trust him with my hair more than anyone. I am always excited to go see him and leave feeling like a million bucks. Thank you, David, I appreciate you! read more

Had my first haircut with Aimee last week and truly could not be happier with my hair. I have mid-length, curly hair that has seen its share of iffy haircuts, but now it's finally looking the way I hoped it could! Aimee listened to what I wanted, wasn't pushy but offered suggestions, and made sure that we were on the same page before she chopped anything. Her experience and expertise clearly show, and she was really thorough in making sure that I got a great haircut. Even helped me out with explaining some styling tips and ideas. My curls have never looked this good. She also cuts my brother's hair, so I can attest that she's great with male and female cuts. Comfortable salon environment, and a great experience overall. Looking forward to my next haircut, and definitely highly recommend! read more

Today my friend wanted a haircut and they went to super cuts which was a horrible mistake. The woman there was super rude and disrespectful. My friend even showed her a picture of what he would like and she did neither of the styles he showed her. She charged him $20.25 for a bull cut. But then we did our research and found this wonderful and amazing and life saving woman named Lenka Olivera who was so sweet and fixed the terrible woman she calls herself a barber. So thank you so much for fixing my friends hair. We will definitely be coming back only to your shop and asking to see Lenka Olivera. read more

Lenka is awesome. She listens to what you want but is also able to give her suggestions as well if requested. I was in desperate need of a hair change and she gave me the perfect cut. A friend referred me to Lenka and I am so happy she did! Finally- a stylist who listens to what I want and does a beautiful job on my hair. Not only does my hair look great, but its in the best condition its been in in a very long time. Haedt's BS Stop, I mean the name says it all! I used to go to a fancy neighboring salon (NH2) I thought the increase in price equaled increase in quality however I always left disappointed. My goal was to go blonde from an ombre. I know this takes several processes but it was my third time there and no positive results! My hair was streaky and trashy, not to mention I never knew how much I would end up being charged. They tack on extra charges for toners, extra product, styling etc usually coming out to just under 500.00$!! So I decided to try a new salon Haedt's BS Stop and haven't turned back since! I now how lushes blonde locks and know exactly how much I am going to pay as well as the quality of work being what I want! The pricing is super reasonable and in my opinion cheaper than most other salons! Lenka and David are a great team and are overall just fun to be around. The attitude in the salon is casual and fun but most importantly they take their work very seriously! I highly recommend making the switch to those whom have had a similar problem as me! read more
