I brought my new BMW to you to hand wax. Good job on the wax except that someone parked my car when it was finished and pulled into a curb. I was not notified when I picked it up and frankly believed that your intention was for me not to notice it. My car is low to the ground and it took me a day to realize what had happened. The damage is under the left front bumper. I will never use Shammy Shine again for that type of service. My car has front cameras. It's amazing how irresponsible they are to allow this to happen. read more

Shammy Shine Car Washes - Car Wash Near Me - Flemington, New Jersey

My family has been doing business with Shammy Shine for over three years, now. We started with washing and trusted them to perform oil change on our 5 cars. I am not pleased with oil change service. This happened: About 6 months ago, my Mercedes Benz was in for an oil change. They did not properly tighten the bolts that hold the skid plate on. The plastic panel flapped then dragged on the road surface. I had to remove the bolts and drive back to the shop for repair. Second: my 2004 Porsche Cayenne was in for an oil change. They could not remove the skid plate without damaging it. They could not replace it on the vehicle. Third: I had a recent oil change with the 2004 Porsche, where the power steering was leaking a lot after service. I just came from a multi-point inspection with the Porsche dealer and I know everything was working fine. Eric, the "manager" at the Phillipsburg, NJ store argued with me that my car had high mileage, and was dismissive about the leaking power steering system. He insulted my vehicle and was initially resistant towards taking a look at the work they'd performed. My 5 family cars are now looking for a better oil change solution. Stupid. Decent wash facilities, albeit expensive. Be wary of their maintenance/mechanical area, because they don't/won't stand behind their work. read more

I paid extra to have the back cleaned and it was still really sandy when I left. Also it was like they didn't even try to wipe spots off on the outside. This was my first and likely last time coming to this car wash. read more

As always I got the most basic wash and am BLOWN AWAY with what they can do in the time and for the price. Car is sparkling, smells awesome, I don't understand how they can vacuum that well that fest. Worth every penny and always makes my day, no idea why their reviews are so low read more

I'm very glad I found this place. After moving into the area, I was concerned every car wash had resorted to exterior only because of COVID (that's what happened to the car wash by our old house). The prices are very reasonable considering they vacuum the interior before it goes through the wash and they windex the windows when it comes out. I've never had a problem with something not cleaned enough. read more

I've been going here for years but recently (before Covid) the interior part of the service is really lacking. I was there last week & when I saw the back area when I got home I called to complain. They offered me another full service car wash...the only difference I saw was that they vacuumed up the seats a bit better. They didn't even bother to lift up the car mats to vacuum underneath!! In the pictures I've included below you can see the dirt marks left after TWO washes!!! Btw they came off with a hand wipe I had in the car. While I don't expect a full detail on the car, for over $25 I would at least appreciate the dirt wiped off the surfaces. read more

My car needed a detail badly. Got one two year last ago somewhere else and they never got the stains out. Shammy shine did such a great job that they got those old stains out. I am so happy with it. The floors, the dashboard, everything am like new in my 5-year old car. A little pricey but worth it. read more

Disjointed and poorly trained manager/cashier. Terrible experience and Unable to answer basic questions,..like say the Cost of an oil change for example ? Or what the moonshot fee is for their car wash membership....unknowing of how to even process the monthly subscription offer they have ? Frustrating and disappointing experience.... read more

Probably my favorite car wash. :) It's a full service car wash, well staffed, and they clean my car really well. Different options that you can choose from, but they wipe everything down inside and out, and also dry the car. Supper efficient if you're short on time as well. read more

Bob performed the oil change. Extremely satisfied. He found a dead mouse in the cabin filter!!! Yikes. He cleaned it out! Thanks! read more

Shammy Shine Car Washes - Bob! - Car Wash Near Me - Flemington, New Jersey

Over $100 is awfully high for a synthetic oil change and a car wash, but when I saw the sign "free car wash with $60 purchase" and was told "yes, that doesn't apply to you, you have to buy the $60 gift card and use that," that was just insulting. Big sign, free car wash with purchase, but you have to jump through hoops for it? Not fair. Besides the fact that you don't even see the sign until you've already paid for the oil change. The oil change people didn't even know how much it costs for a car wash... and the customer doesn't know either until you wait on line. By the way, car was still pretty dirty. read more

Went to have my oil changed for the first time in Flemington. Kris was super helpful but the person that worked underneath wasn't. They only put 1/2 the bolts back on my engine shield and left 3 bolts loose. It was dragging under my car. Spent $100.00 to have it fixed. Won't go back there and please pay attention when you have any service done on your car...and that goes for everywhere. read more

Absolutely horrible. I'm only posting this review after a second time through with terrible service. When you pay $35 for a car wash and they don't even bother to vacuum the car... I have a problem with this. The inside surfaces were not wiped clean. There are visible markings and spots on the outside of the car. I did call and verbalize my displeasure with the service, and I was offered to bring the car back in to be redone. however, I'm really just not interested in returning to this business again. read more

I've been coming here for years. I have a little car. $28 and what a crummy job. Instead of cleaning my mats there are now big black footmarks. That should be ashamed. They did a bad job of drying it and my wheels look like crap. read more

This is the worst carwash you can go, for more $40 they do a terrible job They always packed because there no other in the area , if you can stay away read more

I usually get the most basic wash and I find it to be OK. Recently, I needed my whole car cleaned, including the back hatch vacuumed out so I got their premium package. They barely vacuum my car, the interior still had dirt and dog hair and did not wipe down the interior. I still had mud on the interior.I left a very nice tip as I always do. In total my car wash was over $50 with tip. Huge waste of money. The rims on my tires were still dirty which was something else that I paid to have cleaned. I will continue to get the basic wash, and I will never tip again. read more

Service is good. However, there's always soap left on the back of my car! My car is never completely dried.

The premium wash is 32. It's well worth it if they actually do what they promise. But..... It is hit or and often, a miss. Sometimes they spray the back seat but don't wipe it. Sometimes they forget the tires. The vacuuming is hit or miss. When they are done, pull your car up and do a full inspection. Ask them to correct what they missed.l right away. Otherwise, you drive home and you are just mad that you wasted 32 plus tip, again. read more

I bought a used low mileage CR-V in a distress sale. It was dirty, the interior would qualify as disgusting. The detailing crew at Shammy Shine in Raritan Township cleaned that car to the point where it looks and smells like a new car again. I could not be more pleased. Shammy Shine has my future business. Thank you. read more

This is the only place I will go to get my car washed. Everytime, they do a fabulous job! I keep thinking that I have to get new rubber mats because of how filth they get and after I leave here, they are spotless again! Highly recommend!!!! read more

I went for a full service car wash today and after paying $23, I drove away completely unsatisfied. The outside still had grease marks on the door which I had to wipe off and I had to ask the guys to clean the coffee stains off of my front seat along with the dirt under my mats. After I drove away I noticed dust still on the dashboard and saw that the inside of my doors weren't wiped down. I feel very ripped off... read more

They forget to put back the driver size floor mat in retainer after cleaning it. found it when I noticed floor mat moving from its position. Safety hazard. read more

Best place to get your car washed and oil changed all in in one place. I recommend this place 100% very kind staff always ready to help you.

These guys are AWESOME. I showed up recently to wash my work van and they were very accommodating. I told them that I needed a receipt, and they turned on the system for me so that I had unlimited wash, and then provided me with a receipt so that I could get reimbursed by my boss. I will be back read more

Dropped my car off for full detailing and could not be happier with how it turned out. Honestly it looks like a brand new car. My hubby likes to get our cars detailed at least once a year to keep them looking fresh. This was our first time getting it done at Shammy shine. Their prices are comparable to other places but they did a superior job. This will be our go to place for detailing. read more

Great wash, but you soaked my seats and now I have a wet tush for Christmas shopping. Seriously, why wet a front seat?!?

Have been going there for years but never paid much attention to the cleaning of my car until I got a new car and took it there for it's first bath. I also purchased the weather tech floor mats for her prior to her first wash. They took the floor mats out and hosed them down. Put them back in my car wet. Then once the $29.00 car wash was over I went to get in my car and they didn't even dry the top of them or wipe them down at all and they had puddles of water on them. Plus they also didn't lock them back down. They just put them in soaking wet and that was it. This was Thursday February 7, 2019 Flemington NJ read more

Terrible job , didn't even vacuum the back. Used to be quality now it's been bad for a couple years.

poor service, waste of money for car wash, register person was rude. Not listening complaint from customer.

Took my son's car for the Gold wash for $29 today, which included the inside and outside cleaning. Wow, I was very impressed with the professional job they did. The floor mats shined, and the car looks perfect! read more

We used the sham my shine in Nazareth pike . Heard a huge bang . Have a ding in the side and scratches on the top . Slammed our mirrors in . Talked to an employee . Tried to say scratches go off to the left ???? Wasn't any help at all so sad .i have a ford king ranch . Expensive beautiful truck . Do not use this place read more

So, I tried this establishment again....I'm growing to lower my expectation for decent service which is a shame. Take a look at these pictures and you make the call on whether you'd pay for this. No more for me! read more

These guys suck. Two stars instead of one because I remember a time when i thought they were great. But the other day I got the "Full Service Car Wash" and paid an additional $9 for the "interior extra clean." The interior of my car wasn't like filthy to begin with but I wanted it cleaned up, more importantly vacuumed. I watched the guys outside wiping my car down and one of the guys must have sat in the drivers seat for a solid 5 minutes occasionally wiping the rear view mirror, but that was all. I have no idea what else he could have been doing because i literally just watched him sitting there with the rag in his hand. When i got my car back i noticed only one of the floor mats were wet, they didn't wash the others. The one they did wash was like thrown into the back seat because it was folded up on the floor like they just tossed it back there. The back seats of my car were not vacuumed either and there was still grass and stuff under my mats! What did i just pay that extra $9 for? So you could sit in the AC in my car and play with my radio??? read more

Vacuum and wash cheap and ALWAYS come out super clean! I wont go any where else to get my car cleaned

Took in my old suv getting it ready to sell. Big line on a sunny Saturday at 11:00, but the staff were working to keep it moving. Not such a long wait, maybe 10 minutes. I had exterior and interior plus behind the rear seat for $17. Reasonable. Nice touch that they tape down rear wiper. On the exit side several people go over car exterior and interior. I gave this five stars because interior guy fixed big adhesive spot where I had removed gps from windshield. He went inside, got razor blade, scrapped it clean and wiped it off. I drove away with suv looking great and pic on Craigslist looks good read more

Way over priced. Service is not great. Service has gotten very slow over the last year. There is no other car washes other then Shammy Shine. Staff is not friendly. It is just a shut your pie hole and and pay for the over price wash because we won't let anyone else in our area. read more

While the majority of the wash was alright, they didn't even bother to open the trunk and clean out the abundance of leaves in between the trunk door... I usually don't care that much if the car isn't sparkling when I leave, but when I popped open the trunk after the wash, there were so many leaves soaking wet! I paid for a full service wash, which includes vacuuming the trunk and cleaning around it and they didn't even bother with that. Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with the service for the price paid and will not be returning. read more

The worst car wash ever! I had to ask them twice to go back to wipe the inside- still not good! Left the car wash and went to the self serve vacuum to clean the inside and then spent time wiping the cup holders and doors! They did not even bother to wipe the backs of the seats ! Don't waste your money! read more

What a disappointment. Just spent $30 + tip and my car is still dirty. I did complain -- the counter person called the guy over..they have halfheartedly went over the car again. I had to stand over the guys and point out the dirt on door jams, lower door panels, windows...they never touched the trunk! It was supposed to be a bumper to bumper service -- I guess the trunk and door jams don't count. Don't waste your money on the Gold Supreme -- the guys don't know the difference between that and the Standard Full service wash. read more

I have gone here for several years and always received quality service for the price. But within the last 6 months the quality has gone done hill for a full article car wash. For 30 bucks+tip I would expect the sides of the doors, between the seat and the console, and under the mats to be crumb free. Even the seat still have dust and gear shift and Windows not cleaned well. I'm just going to buy a vacuum and do my own car washes from now on. So sad, not worth the money anymore. read more
