We also got vegan baklava too. Wow what a lunch. Definitely enjoyed it and would certainly recommend this place especially if you're vegan. Very generous portion of both types of vegan meat, fresh salad leaves among other veggies, a big portion of yellow rice underneath, and a dollop of what seemed like vegan tzatziki or something. Everything was absolutely delicious. Super friendly service, reasonably priced, generous portions, delicious food -- what more can you ask for? Highly recommended.

The restaurant is cozy, adorned with house plants that really bring out a sense of calmness while dining. My friend decided to split their Lion's Mane Mushroom Kaarage ($19) along with their Truffle Fettuccini ($29) and the Maitake Steak ($28). We absolutely loved the mushrooms as they were perfectly battered and fried, and you don't often find lion's mane mushrooms in restaurants. For the mains, the fettuccini was the standout with the slight hint of truffles being used to elevate the flavor. Our Maitake mushroom steak was okay as well. I felt it lacked some depth in flavor and relied heavily on the sauce laid underneath, which was still delicious. The polenta sticks accompanying the mushrooms were food too. I would stick with the kaarage and noodles for this one. We also ended the meal with their Baklava Pear ($14) which was aromatic, sweet, and a great way to end the meal. Prices are a bit steeper than I like but it was still great to experience one of the best vegan restaurants in town. Reservations are a must.

The staff was also super friendly and recommended some options for our brunch. We ordered the coconut curry, mushroom crostini, and shakshuka. I did enjoy the way the tofu was done for the crostini and shaksuka though. Would definitely come back here again to try some of the other dishes especially the vegetarian ones which were pretty egg heavy for brunch.

The vinegarette was balsamic, it was good but the salad did not have a lot of dressing on it, 4/5. Service was prompt and courteous. Prices are decent. Definitely recommend

The lassis came out and they were by far the best mango lassis I had ever had. So favourfu ad vibrant! The dishes arrived and all the sauces were divine! We all sampled each other's and were very happy. The tofu, however, was underwhelming. They did nothing to it, just added it to the lovely sauce. It wasn't seasoned or marinated, it was very gelatinous, which wasn't appetizing (especially for non-vegans, which two of us are, who are not used to that, but happy to try it). The place is small and charming, and the food came out quickly, and fresh. Minus points because the bathroom was actually quite dirty and needs a realy good scrub and a coat of paint.
