The restaurant is quite large and therefore rarely full. There is a small car park round the back, but you can usually manage to park on the local side roads without any difficulty. The menu is more extensive than usual, with some interesting spicy options on the menu. The staff are friendly, and the owner, dressed in a suit and chewing on something, often struts slowly around the restaurant asking you if everything is OK: which it almost invariably is. There must be no more than 15 tables in the entire place, which makes it nice and cosy - which I like. I have been here countless times, and each time I cannot fault the service. The waiters are friendly, and the same guys have worked there for years, so if you're local and go there frequently they remember your name - which is always nice. The food is authentic Indian food, with a varied choice of curries on the menu. One of their starters - Prawn on Puree - is my favourite and I often order this as larger portion for my main meal, which they are always more than happy to do for me. The prices are very reasonable here, and if you like them on Facebook they'll often post print-off vouchers on their page for customer discounts and freebies. They also run deals on certain nights, where you can get 3 courses and a beer for £15. Last week when I visited, the service was abnormally slow.. And something I haven't experienced before. Granted it was a busy Friday night but maybe they were a waiter down or something. The service is usually faultless - this must have been an off night but I wouldn't like to mark them down for it. I'll continue to go here, either with family or with friends - and if you're in the area it's definitely the best place for Indian food for a good few miles.

Service was friendly and efficient, offering good recommendations. They were attentive, asking if we would like a break between courses. Our orders turned up promptly. The restaurant space is large and has managed to keep an intimate feel with the clever use of glass screens. We were able to enjoy a meal for two undisturbed by a family celebrating an 18th 20 ft away. The menu has everything you would expect of an Indian restaurant, and many new dishes we had not tried before. We took advantage of the Friday night meal deal, that covers 80% of the menu and was excellent value. This place is a gem, and we will definitely be going back.
