It was my first time at Shakey's, and I didn't know what to expect. There were pizzas, spaghetti, salad, and more. Surprisingly, they replenished the food pretty often. However, the line for the food did had somewhat of a wait at times. For the price, it's not terrible for the buffet. They did run out of metal forks and water (had to resort to the soda fountain water) halfway through our meal. The enchiladas were more like enchilnadas because it had no filling, just some cheese and sauce. The baked chicken was okay, but rather on the oilier side. The pepperoni pizzas were all right, too. Sometimes, they had some pineapple or olives included on them. Service was pretty prompt, and the restrooms are on the cleaner side. I thought it was funny because the first round, nobody had touched any of the salad. But, I liked it, and it was pretty fresh. There was a birthday party going on at the time, so it felt somewhat packed. But all in all, the food and atmosphere wasn't too shabby. read more

Shakey's Pizza in Pico Rivera never disappoints! The customer service is always great, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and has plenty of room to sit comfortably with family and friends. The food is delicious, too! Overall, a great place to enjoy a meal with good service and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend! read more

Visited yesterday evening to have dinner here & watch some football Ordered the PCM half mushroom & pepperoni w/sausage , mojos & chicken + lemonade drink & cup of water. Everything came fresh & hot Chicken was over seasoned with salt( did not enjoy)1/10 Mojos 2/10 (felt like they served us the bottom of the bag) the layer below was full of tiny, small mojo potatoes. Did our best to mask the saltiness with taking off the skin, but still overwhelmed by the salt! Pizza was great, but did notice that when asked for half mushroom, I counted 4 slices & didn't even out with the other half. read more

This is our favorite pizza spot! Not just for pizza, but also their ftied chicken, mojos and excellent customer service! They are very accommodating and make sure all their customers are taken care of. All the employees are positive vibes. Kimberly, Jonah and Chris are all exceptional and so kind! Highly recommend everyone to come experience the yummy food and amazing customer service read more

Horrible service... I noticed this restaurant was renovated so I decided to stop by. I've never been to a Shakey's so I'm not familiar with their business model. I came, asked the counter guy for a table and just said "you can just pick a table". So I'm sitting there waiting for a waiter or service person for a while until I noticed people are ordering at the counter. These people are not welcoming or helpful, like they're hoping you leave and let them carry on on their conversations read more

Showed up for lunch with my wife and there was a minimum amount of food. People waiting around for pizzas to be done. No chicken and mojos. We showed up at 1255pm on a Saturday. Sad times here at Shakeys. It's going to be awhile until I return to this location. Also bring back the original mojos not these dried up ones read more

This was my first visit to Shakey's, and it definitely won't be my last. I picked up a to-go order. The food was amazing! the pizza, the chicken, and especially the mojos were all so good and made to order!! I also want to give a big thank you to the cashier, Romeo. He was very friendly, kind and courteous. He even asked me to check my food to make sure everything was correct and ensured that I was satisfied, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience with great food and great service. I'm looking forward to coming back again soon and having family gatherings here! Thank you Shakeys! read more

I would like to recognize Wendy, the manager at Shakey's, for her excellent customer service. Our PRYS Volleyball Team recently held a pizza party, and there were a few issues with our table setup and order. Wendy quickly addressed the concerns, corrected the errors, and made sure everything was taken care of. Her professionalism, positive attitude, and commitment to customer satisfaction helped make our event a success. Thank you, Wendy, for going above and beyond to ensure our team had a great experience! read more

We went to Shakey's Pizza on Washington Blvd. for my Bday Week. The Bunch of Lunch was great!! Employee Maria Mejia sang Las Mananitas/Happy Birthday to me!! They added BBQ mini ribs to the menu, spaghetti and meatballs, and cheese enchiladas on certain days of the week. I really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the friendly staff there. I think that you really will too!! read more

Highly recommend this place because the staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable. Staff takes actions immediately upon being asked for something. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the cashier that held my family and also our waiter that came to check on my family and everyone around us. This place is amazing super family friendly, definitely coming back! Before I forget the food was amazing and staff kept refilling the bar and pizzas as they were finishing. Everything was amazing! 100 stars of if I could give them! read more

This establishment is in dire need of improvement. The service was particularly disappointing; after ordering food and a drink at the counter, I was directed to the bar for my beverage. I waited there for an unacceptable five minutes just to get the busboys attention, who found someone else to assist me. To add insult to injury, the food, when it finally arrived, was surprisingly bad. The ambiance is dated. read more

Great place for pizza and fried chicken. The food came out fresh, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. The Mojo Potatoes were my favorite. Good spot for family dinners or hanging out with friends. Would definitely come back! read more

The food was fresh but the cashier's attitude was horrible, she was rude and short to every paying customer she tended to. Upon leaving I asked a worker dressed in all black what the cashiers name was so I could send an email about her attitude. The worker in all black said "I don't know her name was everything ok" I told her how rude the cashier was, she then apologized and said she would talk to her. I asked the lady in black if she was manager she stated she was. A manager who didn't know the cashiers name, I didn't even bother to ask her name because she probably would lie and pretend she didn't know that either. read more

I had a great experience today at this shakeys location Lily was very helpful at the register she helped with the menu and was patient with us, Alyssa made sure we had everything we need and checked on us. Wow the lunch buffet is a great deal! However the quality of the food is Pizza Hut level. If you are looking to get out of the heat and watch a sports game in ac with unlimited snacks then do it! Drinks cost extra which is odd. Overall with the food (you can request certain pizzas to be made), chicken wings, pasta, mojo potatoes and salad bar for 12.99 you can't complain. read more

I Ordered a "full" (large) order of mojo potatoes. They were fresh ... but they were barely filled to the HALFWAY point of the small box they were l in (see video below). If this is large I can't even imagine what a half (small) order is ... maybe 5 mojos?! This is ridiculous. For $10, the amount of mojos is definitely WAY OVERPRICED .. shrinkflation indeed. read more

Came here with the fam because we all wanted something different... I wanted to watch the game and have a beer, my daughter wanted a break from the grandson...(you have to take in consideration that it is a Shakey's, if you want a fancy restaurant, you're reading the wrong review )... so we came here I got my super cold beer, watched the game which Erika the manager was very sweet to put on right away, my grandson enjoyed the pizza and the games, and we all enjoyed the chicken and the mojo potatoes!! All and all a great choice! The place was very clean, and the food was fresh, hot and very good! All the employees were very cordial and helpful and we had truly a good time! I haven't been here for a while for a reason but I'm glad we gave it a chance! I will definitely come back! read more

This place was a little downgraded from other Shakey's I have gone , the vegetables on the buffet look all dry and they only put leg and thighs for fried chicken , I guess putting some Breast will sabe them $0.50 ? , the pizza was ok , but place look little dirty and staff was not engaging read more

I live in Arizona now and I haven't had Shakeys in probably 10 years and I've missed it so much. Everyone knows how good the pizza and Mojos are but I forgot how good the chicken was.
