The Big Shack, Fries, and Shack-made Lemonade
Ying X.

A friend highly recommended this burger brand. I went there once when the Shenzhen MixC World branch first opened. The American version is indeed tastier, but the price-performance ratio is still just average. The Big Shack: The signature item. I don't know if it's just my imagination, but it seemed to be a bit bigger than the ones in China. The beef patty was freshly fried, but compared to that in Tasty and Five Guys, it seemed to be leaner. Plus, there was a bun in the middle, so while it had the grilled smoky aroma, it was less juicy. The core, most soul-stirring aroma of fat in the burger patty was still missing. In fact, it lacked that simple satisfaction of eating big bites of meat with your mouth full-of-juice goodness. It felt kind of similar to McDonald's, which was the biggest reason why I've always felt that Shake Shack isn't worth the price. But it's healthier this way, and everyone can choose what they want. French Fries: Wavy thick-cut fries, at a moderate temperature, fresh and hot. Yellow mustard was a bit salty. Shack-made Lemonade: Very tangy, please order with caution.

I stopped by here when I was in the Harvard area. I love how they always seem to have deals on Ubereats that prompts me to try something new. SERVICE: Might be a little slow but not bad when there's so much seating! I think you would have to wait downstairs for your food before using the extra seating upstairs. The second floor has a foosball table and plenty of eating areas. They also have outlets along the walls. FOOD: I always love their shack stack. This time I tried the black truffle burger. It was very flavorful and the onions were still partially crunchy since I ate it in store.

I was NOT impressed by this Shake Shack. Honestly, the company is going downhill. My girlfriend and I spent over $40 on two burgers, fries, and one water! Crazy price for such mediocre food. My girlfriend's burger, which she requested to be well done, was WAY too undercooked, and she had to throw most of it away. I ended up spending another $12 on a SINGLE burger! Ridiculous pricing. I ordered a shack burger lettuce wrapped and it missed the shack sauce -- if I had known this, I would have saved my money and ordered a regular hamburger. We ordered cheese fries, and the cheese tasted artificial and barely covered any of the fries. The employees did not seem like they wanted to be there and it made sense why this location was so quiet around dinnertime. I am not too inclined to return.

Shake Shack is a solid go-to for quick burgers and fries, with a wide range of shakes to match the name. This location runs smoothly--the staff work fast and there's even a street-level mobile pickup window if you're in a rush. We got the ShackBurger, spicy fries, and a bacon cheeseburger. The burgers were tasty and not overly greasy, though definitely on the smaller side for the price. The spicy fries were flavorful, but the seasoning was a bit uneven--some bites packed heat, others not so much. Still, everything tasted good and was consistent with other Shake Shack spots I've been to.

Good burger and fries. Shake was good too. Pretty packed but a good amount of seating. Pricey for what you get tho.

Good for fast food, got the chicken pieces. Felt like it was real chicken! Ranch was okay

Yes granted this is fast food but it has a fuse ball table in the upper dining room so I just had to comment. This Shake Shack is two level and the service is quick. The burgers are as you would expect from the chain.

We were served a hamburger with a patty that has a hair on it. The staff were nice to replace it with a double patty but it didnt feel they are sincerely apologetic. Automated ordering they a computer kiosk. It has a second floor with a futsal to play with.

I was in Harvard Square and stopped by for a burger. I'd say the quality of a ShackBurger is very similar to the ones at In n Out, with a similar smashed patty consistency. It's definitely a step above McDonald's/Wendy's, but I don't think it's quite at the level of Five Guys. The patty is also pretty thin, so I wouldn't say I was especially full after just a burger. That being said, the burger was still pretty tasty, so it made for a decent bite.

Service is ALWAYS so amazing, Marios and his family are truly the nicest people and really care about the quality of the food they put out. After looking at the stellar reviews I am quite convinced I just ordered the wrong thing. I had the Greek Salad with added Chicken Shawarma, and Dolmas. The total came to just under $50 after fees and tips. The portions are great, but I am unfairly biased against ICEBERG LETTUCE. LIKE UGH, WHY??? Would I want a salad that is 90% crunchy, flavorless water! I was expecting beautiful slices of tomato, Kalamata olives, and a wonderful slice of feta like I saw in the other photos :( I didn't get any of that. The pita is warm and soft though. And the dolmas are wonderful. Can't speak for the ambience because I did not eat in, but the business prepared the food super quickly!

If you're looking for wings or tendies, Wings Over Somerville will deliver (literally and…read morefiguratively) but in our humble opinion, it's not quite the best in town. We placed an UberEats order: a 6-piece tenders meal with fries, and while the packaging was neat and everything arrived intact, the food was just... okay. We totally get the soggy fries situation (delivery life), so we're not knocking them too hard for that. What did get me excited was the variety of flavor options, for both tenders and fries. I'm a girl who loves having choices! I tried something new: dry rub Cajun Voodoo and Garlic Hot Buffalo for the tenders. My boyfriend went with his usual double buffalo obsession: Garlic Hot and Hot Lemon Pepper. For fries, I went garlic parm, and he picked Cajun. (We're a no ranch/no blue cheese household, in case that sways your judgment.) But honestly? The flavors didn't really land. Even with all those choices, everything felt kind of underwhelming. The fries were soft (expected) but didn't wow us, and the tenders, while decent in size, were kind of lacking in boldness. We found ourselves wishing we had some dipping sauces, which is rare for us! Overall, it was a mid experience. Not terrible, not amazing. If the wing craving hits hard and nothing else is open, we might return... but we'll probably check out a few other local spots before crawling back to Wings Over.

He says "tell him to bring the bag back". I tell them I'm not lying about 10 wings and I walked all the way back already. Rude manager with the ginger beard and bad tattoos makes 10 more wings. I get the bag and ask if it has the blue cheese on the side and she checks, and the wings weren't sauced at all and the side blue cheese wasn't there either. I get a side container of buffalo sauce to dress the wings myself. Will never go back. The red head manager is such a prick. On top of this, while waiting for the missing 10. The manager yells at the cashier lady to quickly intercept the delivery driver who just walked out with an order because it was missing an item. I watched her sprint outside with wings in her hand.

True to its fast-casual model, service is efficient even when lines are long. The tip to order ahead through their app is a smart one and definitely saves time. The signature Box Combo is the way to go, giving you a great overview of what they do best. The star of the show is undeniably the Cane's Sauce. It has a cult following for good reason, its creamy, tangy flavor pairs perfectly with the crispy, juicy chicken fingers. The sides complete the experience: the Texas Toast is buttery and soft, ideal for dipping, and the crinkle-cut fries are reliably crispy when fresh. It's worth noting that the experience can vary. In addition to this, the meal can also feel quite heavy or greasy to some diners. Overall, Raising Cane's is a solid choice for a quick, dependable chicken finger fix. It won't reinvent fast food, but for a tasty, no-fuss meal where the sauce truly shines, it consistently hits the spot and is a great deal for the quality.

For chicken tenders. And lemonade. Are you out of your minds? Apparently, the entire business model revolves around pushing these absurdly overpriced combo meals loaded with stuff nobody asked for, including whatever the hell "Texas toast" is supposed to be and a laughably tiny portion of what they have the nerve to call coleslaw. I wanted chicken, not a mandatory tour of your overpriced side dishes. Nearly $20 for six pieces of fried chicken is absolutely insane. I genuinely laughed at the price, told them to forget it, and drove right out without ordering. Went straight to the Chipotle next door and got an enormous burrito for about half the money. I have no problem paying for good food, but there's a difference between charging a premium and treating customers like complete suckers. Raising Cane's has apparently confused basic fast food with fine dining, except without the quality, atmosphere, or anything remotely resembling value. Save your money. The chicken isn't made of gold, despite what the prices would suggest.
