Boutique, intimate and most of all clean. The staff is very professional and helpful, the vibe is just right. As well the members are very respectful of the place and the machines. It was relieving to not see people taking multiple sets of dumbbells and going off into a corner for 30 minutes or people sitting on machines and texting the whole time like at many other gyms. The contrast cold & hot plunge pools are great for recovery. The infrared sauna could be much hotter. I'd suggest putting full sized towels at the entrance to that area in addition to or instead of at the entrance of the locker rooms. My only two gripes with this gym is that every day of the 5 days I came it was way too warm and humid inside even though it was only 75 outside (felt hotter inside - not comfortable), and the music was pumping way too loud so much that I couldn't hear my own music on the treadmills. O and also at least 3 of the ~10 treadmills wobbled like crazy. Overall I'd recommend this gym for the mid 20s to early 50s fit-oriented clientele who likes to be around like minded people. I liked how many choices they had stocked for energy drinks, protein, drinks, and protein bars, and how organized it was. The cleaning crew was continually cleaning and kept the floors so clean that I didn't even feel weird walking around the locker rooms barefoot which I can't remember ever doing. Also the gym is in a great spot to walk over for lunch at some decent restaurants at the Coconut Grove walk / pier or whatever it's called. And the parking was very good each of the 5 days I went. I was able to quickly find even free spots. Shout out to one of the workers Elder for going above and beyond with courteous service and filling me in on happening things to do around town during my visit.

This studio is nestled in a small shopping area near the MayFair Hotel and there is plenty of street or garage parking around the area. I have done mat Pilates in the past and I have always wanted to try it on the reformer machine. I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to. Christa was the instructor for our class and she was awesome :). She helped me feel comfortable on the machine and adjusted my form as necessary throughout the class. She definitely made the 1 hour class challenging, fun, yet not strenuous. I broke a little sweat and am currently feeling a little sore and it's a great feeling! Thank you Yelp for this new Pilates studio find and Thank you Christa for guiding me through my first wonderful Pilates Reformer workout :)

Has most of the equipment of a larger gym and you can't beat the price ($10/month) so that's a plus. This location is tiny so it can easily seem packed,m and there aren't classes available, but definitely doable if you're close by. Not many gyms near this location so it's pretty convenient. Staff is easy going. You get parking voucher (1.5 hrs weekdays and 1hr weekends). The limited parking on weekends definitely affects a workout so I do my larger lifts. There's also a lot of ongoing construction to this mall but it has no direct effect on the gym (I don't hear the noise and don't feel any drilling of the sort; albeit, they're now on the building stage).

The classes are well organized and interesting. Every class during a particular day is the same but every day is different. The classes typically start off with about 10 minutes of stretching and light aerobic activity, then this is followed by a strength routine which focuses on one or two muscle groups which lasts about 20 minutes, and then this is followed by a workout of the day which lasts about 20 minutes and leverages the earlier stretches and strength portion, and then there is a 10 minute cool down. The classes will push you to your limits but have scaled variations for all types of athletes. The members are a great mix of exceptional athletes, people who have less fee time and can only get in 2 or 3 workouts a week and novices who are just starting out. The members are of all ages and backgrounds. I have been a member for 6 years and it has been a very rewarding experience. I cannot say enough good things about this gym.
