Ok, now for the review. I ordered the Hula Chicken which was fabulous! The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, the sauce was abundant, the steamed rice was just right and the macaroni salad was spot on. I have no idea if these dishes are actually "Hawaiian" but I thought the food was good. I also ordered one piece of spam musubi which was a great disappointment. I had been craving some musubi and was delighted to find it on their menu but the spam needed to be grilled or fried just a tad longer and the seaweed wasn't as crispy as I thought it should be. It was quite underwhelming. The little food cart pod that this cart is located in had nice outdoor seating as well as an indoor building with a bar. Unfortunately, there is no coffee cart. There is plenty of parking available - jut don't park in the adjacent apartment building's parking spots.

The service here is good, but what stands out to me is that I feel like I am sitting down to a family meal! The restaurant itself is on the smaller side and on busy nights, expect them to be full. When it is busy, the sound level is good - we did not struggle to communicate with each other, which surprised me due to the size of the room. There looked to be another space through some doors, but I didn't adventure back there. The food is delicious and you can tell that the chef has spent quality time ensuring that his execution is great. I have ordered numerous dishes, the pork and chicken are excellent, however the spam musubi left something to be desired. If you are in the area and in the mood for some Hawaiian food, stop in, you wont be disappointed - just be sure to check the hours first as they close between service periods some days.

The restaurant is pretty nondescript and parking is very limited. I ordered the Hawaiian combo with Huli Huli chicken and teriyaki chicken. All meals come with rice and mac salad. The mac salad was really good. Like hmm 4.5 outta 5 stars. Both chicken dishes were just meh. The chicken alone had very little to no flavor all the flavor came from the sauce which wasn't anything special. The serving size was good but the flavor was lacking so I probably won't try them again.
