From what I could figure out, it was an ice cream ball with a layer of chocolate gelato and vanilla center covered in cocoa powder. When it came out, it was pretty much what I expected with some additional whipped cream and caramel sauce. Not too heavy, just sweet enough, and a great way to end the meal. For dessert, we split the Amaretto Sundae made with scoops of amaretto & chocolate gelato and topped with whipped cream, amaretto flavored wafers, amaretto liquor & chocolate shavings.
