I started a Yelp page specifically to write a review of the absolutely awful experience I had here.
This entire office and staff were disgusting, rude and incompetent. This was the worst experience I've ever, ever had at a doctor's office.
The doctor strolls in an hour late - an HOUR. They said "yeah normally he calls if he's going to be late." Great.
They're not doing temperature checks at the door. None of the staff had gloves on.
The absolute INCOMPETENT receptionist said there wouldn't be more than 2 ppl in the waiting room at one time - there were 6, plus all the staff.
Finally I am seen after over an hour, only to be questioned by the doctor "why am I there." I'm sorry, what?! Cause I called your incompetent receptionist weeks prior, explained EVERYTHING - how I was high risk, just moved from San Diego, I measured small at my anatomy scan and had to be seen for a follow up 3 weeks later (which would be here). She rushed past everything I was saying (such a rude mmmmm - seriously biting my tongue here). I specifically asked her, "DO YOU HAVE SONOGRAPHERS IN THE OFFICE? BECAUSE THIS IS A FOLLOW-UP TO CHECK THE GROWTH." She replied "yes." Maybe if she wasn't so interested in getting me off the phone, she would've actually replied with VALID, CORRECT answers. But no, clearly.
Fast forward to my appointment and an hour in the shabby waiting room, finally seen by the "doctor." He basically berates me on why I'm even there, asking why I didn't go to a maternal fetal doctor - um, cause I was told I didn't have to by my OB - and your receptionist said you do that THERE. THEN he says "well we don't have anyone to do your scan, they're only here on Wednesdays and (some other day)." WHAT?! Then why did the girl schedule me on a Tuesday?! I told him she made the appointment and he's still turning it around as if it's MY fault for being there. How about TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER. Talk about zero bedside manner.
Then he says he can take a quick scan but ya know, not much he can do cause I'm such a "big liability." Wow. Okay, cool.
Literally takes 2 measurements and tells me how many ounces she is / how small she is. Comments to the nurse "oh, see how small her belly is for 20 weeks?" First of all, I'm 21 weeks - can you even DO THE MATH? And secondly - maybe a little bedside manner wouldn't hurt? I'm the patient. I'm sitting right there. Can you not talk about how small my belly is when I'm there to check on her GROWTH?! Pretty insensitive.
Also, why the heck are you even measuring my belly at all?! No doctors do that this early. NONE.
And thanks for pressing down so incredibly HARD on my belly, as well. Much appreciated.
Takes 2 measurements, can't tell me anything. Then turns the lights on and walks out.
Old office. NO gloves on staff. They had to take a urine sample. This is how they have you do it - go to the bathroom, take one of the clear **water** cups (no lids), then take a POST-IT and write your name down so they know which urine is yours. Are you kidding me?! You can't even invest in medical-grade cups with lids? GROSS.
All the employees reeked of cigarette smoke. Great when you're working with pregnant patients.
They don't explain how to get to their office (the main address isn't the actual building they're in).
Don't greet you whatsoever when you walk in - don't even smile. Nothing.
Honestly I wish I never heard about this horrible, awful, disrespectful-of-your-time-and-emotions (the list goes on) office.
The girl in the front is an absolute NIGHTMARE, and the so-called "care" I received was ridiculous. So disorganized.
Zero social distancing. Zero temp checks. No gloves. Nothing. AWFUL. Wonder what the city would think of their non-existent "protocols".
If you do go, have fun waiting the whole day to see some guy who couldn't care less about anything but defending himself, and calling you a liability.
Good luck calling for anything, too, because 95% of the time you'll just get the fax machine since they never answer.
Girls are talking about their own health issues (cue incompetent receptionist): "I wanna get oral surgery on my jawwwwww, I have such an underbite." Cool - maybe less time talking about your personal life and more time actually doing your job and MAYBE you'd be better at it. Maybe.
Literally cannot say enough bad things about them. read more
