Doggone's service and care for our Bernedoodle was much higher and their price is lower than pet store grooming! I would just suggest to customers - if you're tipping based on % of cost, to do it based on price of other places vs a % of price here. We tipped based on the price I paid at Petsmart's for the basic grooming ($130) and added bit more because it was totally deserved! Here they do to exactly what's asked for vs the other place that just basically shaves the dog unless you want to pay a fortune to add on any sort of other cut! I was so shocked that they'd done that when I came to pick up our dog! I would recommend Doggone Lovely to everyone - just don't take up all of the appointments on me ;-)

What was most disappointing was that she never apologized, made any effort to look into what happened, or offered to reschedule. Instead, she was dismissive and rude throughout the interaction. Even though the mistake was clearly on her end, she showed no concern for the inconvenience it caused. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and customer service. Unfortunately, this was a very negative first experience, and I would not recommend this groomer based on how the situation was handled.

My problem is that I was just charged $100/hr for my dogs groom. Because she needed to be careful around his mats. I mean, I consult and have an hourly rate which doesn't change based on the task I'm doing. It's the nickel and diming here that gets its star rating. At least at other groomers, you know how much to budget for a groom. Update on comment- the signatures you asked for that I didn't read as it was a sign now experience (like at the doctor)? Also, an hourly rate is an hourly rate. Good luck finding clients who will go along with a quote and then an increase at payment without prior notice. You've already lost two clients like this.
