We purchased a truck camper from this business. We were very pleased with everything. Our salesman Dave was super nice and answered all our questions. We live about 2 1/2 hours away, the day we went to pick up the camper they were all ready for us. Richie who works in the shop showed us everything about the camper and answered all our questions. We dropped off our recently purchased used 13 y/o trailer on the appointed date for some extensive work. Five new tires, new awning, reseal slideroom, reseal windows, install new water tank, a thorough evaluation of any other needed work. Initial estimate was about $3500. Five weeks later they called that it was ready, the bill was $5600. I drove the 200 miles from home to pick it up. Then they brought it into the shop for another 4 hours. After the long drive home I activated the slide and it tore out the seal molding and the forward ski was still hanging. The window seals that according to them were no longer available were easily located on line and were easy to install even with having to remove the gobs of silicone that they put in the tracks. The new water tank was secured using the rusted out brackets that had dropped the old tank on the roadway. After I completed the re-work , on our first trip out when we opened the brand new awning the inner drum was filthy, clogged with dirt, grease, and dead grass, as if it had been laying on a dirty shop floor. This may be a great dealership for a new rig, but no way should they be trusted to do any serious work. read more

Quite possibly the worst place to get a quote from for a trade in. Was completely low balled by the sales man.. who def made up some bs answer to back it up. Despite being offered almost a thousand more by 5 different companies closer to me. But yet kept tellingg me to drive the hour and a half and maybe he could give me more. Should of known when i received ten to 15 questions that he sent me to get a quote that they were gonna find any excuse to take money from the customer. If you want to talk to someone that will take advantage of you and nickle and dime you- Ray Dymond is your guy. read more

I needed a bit of body work for my travel trailer. I am totally satisfied with the work. The only complaint is that it took a bit longer than anticipated but that was due to the manager not being wholly satisfied with the initial paint job and had the paint job redone. That was worth the couple extra days! I recommend Shady Maple. read more

I fully disagree With Liz C's review of Shady Maple RV. First, we got the best trade-in amount for our RV -- by about $4,000.00, compared to the next-highest trade-in offer from another dealer -- and we were given a fair price on our newly contracted 2016 Windjammer. Shady Maple RV is only three miles from me. Sure, I could have saved a couple of thousand dollars, out the door, with the trade-in included, if I had bought from a dealer a couple-hundred miles away, but it was worth the additional cost to me for my dealer to be so close. Three years later, they still know who I am and give me great service -- warranty or not -- whenever I call them or go by to tell them what I need. They are always very pleasant and willing to help with whatever they can. They never act bothered by me. They have several service bays, but I have never needed to take my Windjammer there because they also have a few very qualified mobile technicians who are capable of doing just about anything that could need to be done to any RV, that they just send out to me at no additional cost. This dealer takes no flack from the manufacturers on warranty items and they work as hard as they need to do to ensure what should be covered is covered. I have never had to contact Forest River over a warranty issue because this dealer fights for me. I am sure this is the case with all of their customers. I have never waited over two days for their mobile technicians to come to me to assess a problem, ever -- not even in the height of camping season -- and fix it if it wasn't a huge item like my awning. That took two weeks of them arguing with Forest River and Dometic to get approval, and my Windjammer was was just two weeks shy of the Forest River Second-Year Warranty. One week later, a couple of mobile technicians came to my site when I wasn't there and replaced it. It didn't cost me a penny. When it comes to purchasing an RV and being insulted by what you are offered for your trade-in, you really need to look at the whole picture. What is the final cost for that new RV? Does the trade-in value really matter if you drive away with the RV you want at the bottom line you are expecting to pay? Are you buying from a dealer who will take care of you after all of the paperwork is signed -- a dealer who will fight for you when it comes to warranty claims? Do you want to deal with an RV dealer who genuinely cares about you, your family and your RV now, and three years down the road? If these things don't matter to you, good luck with your RVing experience. If they do matter, buy from Shady Maple RV. read more
