Extremely disappointed by the customer service here. My fiancé came here to get her catalytic converter replaced and we had multiple mishaps never resolved by the staff. To start off, when making the appointment we weren't told that there were multiple locations, so we dropped off the car at the incorrect location (definitely partially our fault). However, they just let it sit at the incorrect location for a full day and the actual location never tried calling to ask where it was AND the other location didn't call to tell us that it wasn't at the right spot, so there's a full day wasted and we had to reschedule. To step up their game, they proceeded to finish her car on the next date and call us and say they left the keys and an invoice in the car. We drive 20 miles that night to pick it up and the car is unlocked with no keys or invoice anywhere in sight. So we called and left a voicemail and had no choice but to leave without our car, drive home 20 miles, and called another FOUR times on a business day with absolutely no response - we had to have their second location contact them just to get our car back. Absolutely no apology, no explanation, no communication. Disappointed and surprised this place has decent ratings. read more

05.31.22 Though the appointment time was scheduled far out, it was worth waiting for. I needed a new catalytic converter for my Durango. My mechanic recommended Red Run because he said it would be cheaper if they did it instead of him. According to Dodge forums, I was bracing to pay between $1,500 - $3,000 But When Red Run called me to tell me it was ready, the bill was $556.00 Fantastic! I've had an extremely unprofessional experience. They've lost my paper work and have had my car for 3 months. They keep telling me that they will work on it when they can, eventhough I've had an appointment since mid August, that they keep pushing back. Poor communication on their part. Made an appointment to do a muffler delete on my car. Took a while to book the appointment but it was well worth it! I live in Carlisle so it took over an hour to get there. Showed up about 20 mins early and they got me in right away & I was driving away 30 minutes later! They're work looked professional and damn near factory-like! Impressive to say the least! They had also quoted me a price but when I went to pay, it was around $30 cheaper than the quote! I drive a 2012 Mercedes-Benz, saw an AMG Mercedes in their lot. Asked if he could steal the mufflers off of that one and install on my car... he said he wouldn't be able to do that. (I was joking) Very honest and professional people! I can't say enough positive things about Red Run Exhaust! We were on vacation in the Ephrata area &, on the day we were supposed to head home to Ohio, discovered that my vehicle had lost a large section of exhaust pipe & become super loud. This was at around 2pm on a weekday & we were scheduled to drive home that evening. I called Red Run Exhaust & explained the situation, & they said they could try to get it done that day, but guaranteed it done by 10am the next day so that we could get on the road. A half hour before closing (about 2 hours after I had dropped it off with them) they called me to let me know that they had managed to get the work done so that I could head home as originally planned! And the best part is that it only cost me around $100!! There's no way I could have gotten that kind of quality work done, & that quickly, anywhere else!! I had two cars that needed the exhaust systems repaired and was unsure where to turn. A friend suggested Red Run Exhaust and I gave them a call. Their prices are the best around, very reasonable and they do quality work. Both times I've went the final price was at least $100 cheaper than what they quoted me! My only gripe with this place is that you have to book in advance. The prices and quality are that good that they are always booked for 3-4 weeks in advance. This might be an inconvenience if your inspection just ran out and you need the work done now so plan accordingly. Overall, best place in the entire area for exhaust work! read more

2011 Nissan Pickup had rusted aluminized dual exhaist that cost over $600 in parts alone originally when new. Replaced by a complete stainless system with magnaflow muffler for less than $300! they would have done dual for under $500. The quality excellent and the workmanship is even better. read more

These guys are amazing! Several people, including my dealer garage, recommended Red Run to replace an ailing exhaust in my BMW 330ci convertible. I ordered a MagnaFlow bolt on kit with the thought I could tackle it myself. After removing the OEM exhaust system, I come to find out, the MagnaFlow bolt on did not fit. I took the car to a national chain and they could not make the proper adjustment to make the fit. I called made an appointment, drove 70 miles and in less than 2 hours, the system was installed and I was on my way. I would strongly recommend to anyone that is looking for a quality exhaust specialist, take the time and make the trip. You will not regret it. read more

A mechanic at the Subaru dealer told me about this shop and I called for an estimate for repair/replacement of the catalytic converter on my car. When I brought the car in for repair, after examining the entire exhaust system, they fixed it for much less than the estimate. My check engine light has not come on again since (2 months). I was impressed by the integrity and competence of this shop. read more

Made an appointment for a catalytic converter replacement on a Kia Sportage...after the initial appointment, the check engine light was back on before I even got to my house. Also, the shocks sounded horrible, which wasn't an issue before the visit. I took it back a few days later and they ran diagnostics and said that the code showed the other cat needed replaced and the shocks were worn but could wait until inspection. I took the Kia to the dealer as part of a product improvement campaign and asked them to run their diagnostics to see if it matched Red Run. They called me and told me that the cat was never replaced, just modified and that the O2 sensor was the reason for the code, because it wasn't properly reinstalled. The dealer also said the weld job was some of the worst work they'd seen. They offered to do the work to fix it but it was going to cost me $1200. I called Red Run to talk to them first and when I questioned what they did, they only brought up the fact that the car was brought in low on oil...which had nothing to do with the issues with the cat replacement. I took it down for them to correct the issue, but basically had to take it back 3 times in a week. When I called to get a quote, they gave me a very affordable price which is why I went with them. When I spoke to whoever was taking my info, I even questioned that they were replacing the cat and even gave them the part number that I got from the dealer. I was told that they were replacing the part for the agreed upon price, but instead I find it hard to believe that they replaced it at all. If I get any sort of code about that part again, I'm more inclined to have the dealer do the work to replace it and send the invoice to Red Run. While I appreciate that they corrected the O2 sensor issue, I'm very disappointed that they did not do the work that we agreed upon from the start. read more
