While the communication was all initiated by me, once I got someone on the phone it was all pleasant and accurate. Despite my crappy insurance company (you know the one cough Jake cough) the car was done January 14th. After a cursory inspection it appears to be a first class job. I had an annual inspection at Mini of Westchester and wanted an all-wheel alignment. They said the tie rods bolts were stripped and I would need to replace them first for $1,800 and then the alignment would be $400. I said No. The next year at Huber's, I asked them for the alignment which they did for $200 and NOTHING about tie rods. After the alignment, the car drove noticeably better. Every cost for their service is half the cost the dealership charges. Good to have an honest and reasonably priced place to have my foreign car serviced.

I was very impressed by their customer service. Katie & Steve were both friendly and easy to work with. One thing I appreciated was that I called on a Wednesday morning to get an update on the car. Steve told me they were still waiting on a part and wasn't sure of the timing. He then emailed me that night to confirm it would be done Thursday. On Thursday Katie called me in the morning to let me know it was in the last stages of being put back together, and then called again to confirm it was done and ready for pickup. They also washed the car for us! I also felt their prices were fair. My regular mechanic gave me a ballpark estimate on what I could expect to pay for this repair (based on what they'd seen another body shop charge). Barton's price was better than that, so I felt I paid a fair price. While I hope I never need to go to a body shop again, I would definitely go back to Barton's.

I called so that I could get my car towed back home. The receptionist was very polite, took my information and within about 20 minutes they were there to pick me up. The tow truck driver was courteous, took special care in loading my car, and provided me with great conversation on the 30 minute ride home. The towing charge was fair and what I expected for the distance. I would highly recommend them for towing services.

I asked questions about the particular vehicle and he did not have the basic knowledge of parts under the hood. He tried to tell me that this vehicle didn't have many versions in AWD, which I knew was false. He assumed since I was a woman that I didn't have adequate knowledge on the vehicle. When I test drove the vehicle, I loved it, but they were not willing to fix something minor on it. I called another shop and was quoted how much it would cost to fix that particular problem. Nathan was not willing to go down on the price, even though there was an issue with the vehicle. He told me he would talk to the service department again and see if they could fix it.
