The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with that cozy lodge feel that still feels upscale. Staff was friendly, helpful, and made everything feel easy from check-in to checkout. Big shoutout for how well everything is kept--grounds, amenities, and shared spaces were all spotless. You can tell there's real attention to detail here. If you're heading to the Branson area and want a resort-style experience with amazing scenery, this is easily one of the best places to stay. Definitely coming back.

We stayed at Moose Creek that was right on the golf course near The Strip, but managed by Stonebridge. It was homey, comfy, plenty of space, a game room for our kids, and close to everything. We had a family vacation to celebrate my 60th birthday, with the 2 upper & lower screened in porches, we had different areas to fit us all. There was plenty of parking and we all loved walking down to pond and pool area just right out our cabin door. The only negative, there were a couple pillows on couch, & the back of couch where the back pillow is attached were torn & had holes in them. We took pictures on day of our arrival to show we did not do it. But with so many people renting the cabins you can expect some wear & tear. We had a fabulous time

I'll be honest.... I really wanted to like this place. The website looked wonderful, but the…read morereality was less than ideal. I will start with the positives: - Staff....polite, friendly, helpful - Facilities... not bad! They had a pool, a couple hot tubs, and several fire pit areas available to reserve, down a a sleepy little creek. Ideal for kids to play, or to just relax. The place is far enough off the beaten path to be fairly peaceful and quiet. Lotsa green space to walk our dogs. Bugs didn't seem to be a problem, even being this close to woods and water. - A coffee and booze bar in the lobby. - Live music on two evenings. Now, the bad stuff: - the room. I've stayed in better Motel 6s. Not a room we wanted to hang out and relax in. The single queen room was extra small.... No space for luggage or to hang some clothes. Concrete floor that looks like it may have used to be covered but it was ripped up and replaced with a throw run that was barely bigger than the bed. The blinds didn't quite cover the window so you were guaranteed glare coming into the room, and to be greeted by the dawns early light. The room had a fridge that worked, but no coffee maker. The air conditioner worked well, but was noisy. No decor besides a couple small, random, oddly placed items on the wall. Water temperature and pressure in the shower were ok. - The free continental breakfast wasn't much. Cereal, some packaged muffins and danish that weren't very good. Some overripe bananas. Some weak coffee. - Weak wifi. Our room was in the center of the complex and we got one to two bars at best, and frequently lost the signal. We ended up having to use the hotspot on our phones. What makes it worse is that the TV also ran off the WiFi, and we lost signal. Bottom line..... if I had a better idea of what I was getting into I may have stayed elsewhere. Great surroundings but a disappointing room. Not sure we will return.

The hotel we stayed in for many years had a change of ownership, etc., and we wanted to try something new - the Lodge of the Ozarks is what landed on! We returned this weekend for a similar trip over the Fourth of July during the 250th anniversary of our founding. Given the newer layout of the road system in the area, and our places of choice to visit, we found this a great destination that was easy to reach despite the hordes of holiday traffic. The hotel is moderately priced, and the rooms are large with plenty of handicap accessible spaces, all in the area of the public spaces, and of course, plenty of options for those who need access accessible rooms. They offer a very nice breakfast with a large breakfast area and an indoor pool as part of their property. They also have several large spaces throughout the facility that are easy to use as family gathering spots to eat a meal together, etc. The property is very comfortable and we have certainly enjoyed our visits. We would plan to come back.

Friendly locals are usually hanging out & the owner might be there afternoons, with his big red parrot, which is pretty great to be around. Need I say that this place is Biker Friendly? Drinks menu is reasonably priced & the alcohol selection is respectable. Drinks are well poured, & served by seasoned pros, not hipster kids. No offence to the young, but often the 'cool' kids who work in popular bars are less cool than they realize. The bar maids here are some epic chicks, who've attended a "rodeo" or two. As bartenders & new friends, they made us feel at home & showed my little group a damn fine time, time after time. In the pub, there's also live music (no room to dance), not sure which nights - call & ask. I heard a lady named Sherry play her guitar & sing rock/folk songs in tones that would break your heart. Again, a seasoned pro. BE FOREWARNED: Placed outside the city limits, this is legally permitted to be a SMOKING bar. Don't go, if you don't like that. And don't write crappy reviews out of petty spite. Remember tolerance? Exercise it. You might like the 2nd bar upstairs at the pool(!). It's a jazzy little bar made of an old VW van & the view is pretty spectacular from up there, too. The whole place is built on top of a bluff overlooking Tablerock Lake. It's just gorgeous. The upper/pool bar is probably open at peak season only, so call ahead to know for sure. I wouldn't come to this pub specifically to eat, food is adequate for the drinking public, but not really a place worthy of 'eating out'. BUT for a drinking experience, it's unsurpassed locally. The mood is like a mixture of 'Chelsea's' & the 'Cat House' down in Eureka Springs. It's a super-cool vibe, ultra relaxing & fun, & if you get drunk, it's also a motel : ) so, Yay!
