i grew up in Brownsville and have lived in Linn County my whole life. I spent over 20 years working on local farms, fixing tractors, sprayers, mowers, and anything else that broke in the heat. When a driver called with equipment trouble, I’d tell them to park under the biggest shade tree they could find so I could work without the sun beating down — and that’s how the name Shade Tree was born. I also did motors and transmissions out of my driveway and eventually turned that side hustle into a full‑time mobile mechanic business built on the values farming taught me: honest, friendly, respectful, and hardworking. On 03/06/26, Shade Tree Mobile Auto Repair officially became a licensed LLC. We’ve been full steam ahead ever since, serving Linn County with no plans of slowing down. My goal is to build a legacy that keeps growing for years to come.

Meet the Business Owner: tim F.
Tim has lived in Linn County his entire life and built a reputation as the guy who can fix anything mechanical, electrical, or computer‑related. He’s completed Ecotec swaps, LS builds, custom wiring jobs, full harness repairs, and full engine and transmission replacements. He’s known for taking on complicated diagnostics and projects most people won’t touch. Beyond automotive work, Tim builds custom desktops, troubleshoots hardware, and writes programs when a job needs custom logic. He also builds and tunes quadcopters, repairs flight controllers, and handles precision soldering and electronics work. People come to Tim because he’s thorough, direct, and relentless about solving problems the right way. If it has wires, code, or an engine, he can make it run.
