They said 2-3 weeks from when I ordered them at my appointment. It has now been 7 weeks with no end in sight, which is frustrating enough in itself, but is compounded by the fact that they have been completely unresponsive and have given me ZERO information or follow up. I've called multiple times and been told someone would call me back, which they have not. I've also sent emails which have not been returned. I understand things happen and get delayed but avoiding patients and not returning calls and emails is an insane way to do business. I had to rush order other contacts online because I needed a new pair and had no other solution. I wear monthly contacts and they always stress the importance of changing them regularly, and yet they're the reason I'm not able to. Thankfully 1800contacts got my order delivered in under 48 hours (over a weekend and holiday too!) Now I just want my money back on this contact order I may or may not ever get, but apparently they "can't refund an order once it's been placed". My visits have been fine, but this whole process and their complete lack of care for their patients will have me finding another provider.

I was there for about two hours and was very happy with all the thoroughness the Dr provided as well as discussing all my options with me giving me the pros and cons of surgery. I didn't wait long to check in or to be seen and started my visit off with Austin and he was great as well. I'm nervous about the surgery but feel very confident in Dr Primacks ability to help correct my issues. I would def recommend this business for eye concerns!!

I had the same experience they did regarding lack of help (although I was told that I could see specialist in another location but it I would have to wait two months for an appointment). Fortunately, I was able to find an eye doctor at another practice, who saw me the next day, and who I owe a large debt of gratitude to. My experience at Eye Consultants of PA was horrible. Also, like other reviewers have pointed out, the waiting time during appointment is very long. You are shuttled by different people into two or three different rooms and areas with more waiting times between them. Then there's this: "The United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania, PC (ECOP) has agreed to pay $790,000.00 to resolve False Claims Act allegations of civil liability for submitting claims to Medicare for Evaluation & Management (E&M) services that violated Medicare rules and regulations."

I'm sharing my recent experience at VisionWorks in Newtown Square, PA so other patients know what…read moreto expect. This review reflects my personal experience and concerns as a customer. When I scheduled my eye exam, I was told a doctor would be on-site. However, when I arrived, I learned that no doctor was present, and the exam would be done via telehealth because of the holiday. I was not informed of this beforehand. Although the waiver mentioned telehealth, I was not told that AI technology would be used as part of the exam process. When I asked which system was being used, neither the staff nor the remote doctor could identify it. I was only told the technology was outsourced through a third-party IT provider. As someone with a technical background, the lack of clarity was concerning. The findings from this AI-assisted telehealth exam did not match the results from my previous in-person eye exam with a licensed doctor, which made me question whether the virtual setup was able to provide the same level of detail or accuracy as a traditional exam. Additionally: Several components of a standard in-person exam -- including dilation and certain diagnostic checks -- were not performed. The person handling equipment onsite stated he had two weeks of training and was not medically certified. Staff also expressed that doctor availability varies by location and ownership, and couldn't confirm when an on-site doctor would next be available ("possibly next Saturday, but it could change"). I want to note that the employees at the front desk were professional and polite. My concerns are strictly about transparency, consistency, and whether the services provided match what patients believe they are receiving, especially when insurance is involved. Based on my experience, I no longer feel comfortable receiving exams at this location and will be seeking an in-person medical evaluation elsewhere. I believe patients deserve clear communication about whether a doctor is physically present, whether AI is involved, and what type of exam they are actually receiving.

I have been a patient with this office for over 35 years, I had previously recommended them many times. I am extremely saddened by our April 2022 visit. Our visit included interacting with the office manager Jeff. We were quickly taken aback by how he interacted with the staff at the front desk. Then when it came to selecting glasses we felt like he was pushy, rushing and dismissive. While we were at the office the pricing didn't seem right, but we were being rushed so we paid and left. I called my insurance company to clarify the charges. To start with my husband and I were both charged copays, my plan doesn't have a copay. Then upgraded services that I specifically advised I did not want were added to my order. I contacted Jeff after speaking to the insurance company, told him I was not happy, he tried to add on more charges! I cancelled our order and went back to the office to get a refund.

All while knowing full well this diagnosis IS NOT something that develops quickly. STAY AWAY from this practice!!
