I tried to order 4 tires, the sales representative told me they were having a tire sale buy 3 get one free. A gave a 750 dollar deposit. The final price seemed higher than expected so I asked for a print out. They charged me 247 dollars for road hazard. I told them I didn't want road hazard insurance. They said it was the only way I could get the free tire. They never said anything about it until I asked. What a ripoff. Seems like the insurance was almost as much as the 4th tire. I called in and scheduled an alignment. I stated the year and model of the vehicle. The gentleman that I spoke with had to put me on hold for awhile to get the pricing. I recently experienced an issue with my 20-year old car two days before I was scheduled to take a trip. I was having problems with my steering wheel shaking and could feel a difference in my new tires, but did not have a clue what was causing the issue. I contacted David just before the store was about to close. He asked me to bring my car in. They immediately discovered that my parking brakes were stuck. They kept my car and locked it in their garage overnight for safety. Angela was kind enough to drive me home that evening. The following morning, they called me to let me know that they had replaced my brakes and rotors and I could pick up my car. They were not only fast and efficient in their assessment and repair, they were amazingly kind and caring to me! I was impressed by their outstanding and friendly customer service! The very best in customer service that I've experienced in a very long time. Their employees were helpful and friendly and very accommodating! What a great team! Thank you for making a painful situation a very pleasant ordeal and not so stressful! I will not hesitate to return should I have any future issues with my vehicle! On 7/18/25, I called Shadden tires at 2328 North Main St Crossville for a price on 4 tires. Michael asked the normal questions, car info and did I have any specific tires in mind. I told him Firestone destination LE3, very specific. He said no problem. Set up the appointment for 7/21/25. When I got there they needed all of the information again saying that their computers messed up and lost or mixed up the info. He also asked me the price that he quoted to me. This should have been set on the price of the tires and services. Now I am thinking that they change their pricing depending on what the customer looks like they can pay. He was not very clear on this. Then Michael told me that that they did not have Firestone tires, but they did have another brand LE3. He told me that I miss-communicated the information! I was very specific when I called, and told him that I would not have set up the appointment if they did not have the tires I requested. Then he told me that he could have them by tomorrow morning, but would cost a little more. Again he told me that I miss-communicated. Bait and switch at it's finest. I will never go there again. Dropped my wife's car for new tires and an alignment at 8:45, they told me the only tires they had in stock that were a set were their "top of the line" tires and was gonna be 1500$. (Kinda odd a tire shop doesn't have multiple choices in tires) but I said fine I was gonna leave it and they wouldn't have to rush (poor choice). I called at 2 to check if it was done and was told the tires were on but needed an alignment still and would be 2 hours till they could get to it. After no update at 5 we called and was told the machine was "struck by lightening" and wasn't working. So I was done with their bs and decided to go get it and get the alignment elsewhere. When we got there the machine was magically working again and my wife went in to get the car and they told her the computers were down and that all the appointments they scheduled actually showed and they overbooked and were behind. Yet another excuse. Will not be going to either shadden tire shop again, I hoped this one would be better than the one by hospital but I guess both are just as poor quality. At this point I'd rather go to pikeville or Dayton than deal with any other tire shop in this town. Only reason it's not a 1 star is they actually put the tires on the car. read more

I was in this shop today, my buddies truck was in for an alignment, after assessing, the shop determined it needs quite a bit of front end work. Well after he took the keys and we headed towards the door, the two guys at the counter started laughing hysterically and it was obvious what they were laughing at. Very unprofessional and they're lucky I chose the high road today and just walked out. I had planned to come back and order some wheels for my C10, now I won't step foot back in this shop full of disrespectful jerks ever again, nor will I recommend anyone do business here. Such a disgrace, those dudes should be ashamed of themselves. Even if they were laughing about something else, (it was obvious they weren't) it was very unprofessional nonetheless. Today we had a major blowout on our back tires while we were headed west on 1-40. We were pulling our travel trailer also. We were able to get our not-so-good spare out and on to be able to get us to Shadden Tire. They were helpful from the first phone call. They got us in quickly and we got 2 new tires and took our one good back tire and made it the new spare. They were awesome. Love this place! A few weeks ago we noted an idiot light go on to advise us that our cars tire pressure was low. We took it in thinking that it sat dormant for months, and some air leaked out. The good folks at this shop took me in, and filled up all tires, then re-set the indicator for free! Two weeks later it happened again. On a Friday night moments before closing, and we were in route to a dinner party! Wade took over, and within 20 minutes, turned us back again on our way after he found a nail hidden inside the tread. It was close to closing time but they took us in and put on a new tire for a very reasonable price, with a smile and friendly attitude. Very much appreciated their hospitality and quick service. Called ahead 2 weeks for an appointment, they won't take it. I describe what I want done and was told "bring it in first thing and we can complete it in a day, easy". I bring it in, there is only one person in front of me so I am thinking this will be fine. I leave the car and get a ride to work. Around 2:30pm I call them as I asked them to look at the brakes and let me know what needed fixed. They answer and say they just got it on the rack, at 2:30pm. I guess getting there early doesn't mean anything to them. When I get there at 5pm, brakes not looked at, tires not rotated but the alignment is done. Who does an alignment before rotating the tires? They wanted me to bring it back the next day to get it finished. No thanks! Still had to pay for the alignment though. Clearly they care more about the bottom line than customer service. read more
