Once he finished setting up the video equipment, he went to the site to start capturing the details--shots of my dress, my beautiful high heels, and jewelry. He was so detailed, trying to get different angles of the shots, which I really liked. I spent a lot of money on my dress and accessories, and I definitely wanted to capture them in my book. The ceremony was outside under the stage, and he guided us to the back area, which had more greenery, for our family and wedding party portraits. He was so funny and creative--everyone enjoyed his sense of humor. I believe he has a gift for making people feel comfortable and de-stressed. He even made my 85-year-old grandmother smile, which I hadn't seen in a long, long time. During the ceremony, he captured so many different shots, from wide angles to close-ups. He stayed close to us but kept enough distance so that the guests felt comfortable. I remember at my sister's wedding, her photographer stayed too close to everyone, and it felt awkward. My husband and I been to several weddings and after seeing some dance floor quieter than others, we are so incredibly thankful for DJ Rocryte for being the best DJ representing us for the best day of our lives. When we were looking for a DJ for our wedding, one of the most important quality to us was personality. Not only he was talented and came highly recommended, he was prompt in all his response, professional and highly knowledgeable of music that we are looking to match the ambiance we want to create for our special day. We only met with him once prior to the day, and gave him a list of our playlists. We also have a weird playlist- from oldies Chinese song from our parents era, to some from our era such as music from Crazy Rich Asian, from Backstreet Boys to Frank Sinatra to Bruno Mars. But, he knew exactly the vibe we were going for because he even played music that wasn't on the list and his music got people swaying and jumping! We did spent a little more than what we wanted for a DJ but DJ Rocryte was worth every investment! Granted that we have a traditional and conservative crowd and have low expectations, we have never seen so many uncles and aunties on their feet. Our dance floor was packed all night and we have to turn on the light in the end cause the venue was closing.
