Hands down, Kimberly and Loren are the best wedding photographers around. Super professional and friendly, working with them was a breeze with no stress whatsoever. They were super responsive to our inquiries, really are interested in getting to know you as a couple, and we were able to meet them/keep in contact more than a handful of times before the wedding so for the day of the wedding, it felt like they were part of the family. Their photobooth quality was amazing, and our guests loved the photostrips they could take home with them. They also provide you with all photobooth images which we loved. read more

Well, we've been secret fans of Alante's photography for a long time. We've seen many many many .. MANY amazing wedding photos from them on facebook, and we knew we had to have them on our big day. The photos turned out to be as amazing (if not more) than we had expected. Most of all, they were so nice since our initial meeting, learning about our love story over a glass of bubbly :) The engagement photos totally captured our goofy nature, and we chose a location that is very sentimental to me which they did an amazing job showcasing it. I had a few teary eyed moments when we got those photos back. They also helped tidy up our wedding timeline and laid out all the details prior to our wedding to make sure our photoshoot process will be a breeze so we can enjoy our day. I hate to be the outlier here, but I really had a poor experience with Alante. They did the photos for my kids' ballet class, group and individuals. First, and most importantly, the pictures were poor quality; they were slightly fuzzy and didn't capture very good shots of either of my kids. Some parents were allowed to coach their kids (or be involved with the process) and others weren't. These were 2-5 year olds, so naturally some kids were shy with strangers, but this didn't necessarily mean the parent was allowed to help. Also, I've had my kids take shots with professionals before who were better able to elicit smiles and great shots. Photographing kids is an awesome skill, but one that I didn't see that day with Alante. Several shots were taken, but we weren't allowed to pick the photo printed. Additional shots were available to purchase online, however, while some kids had multiple shots to choose from, some had no others available, which was disappointing. Also, some kids got group shots with friends, or small, personally selected groups. I suppose this could just be on me for not taking initiative in asking, but I wish I would have known that that was an option. Also, one of the kids got shots with her mom- I wouldn't have wanted that personally, but it would've been nice to know that there were additional options available for the photographs. The group packages were also not the best. I ended up picking 8 wallets and 2 5x7s at $30, but, what I didn't realize till I got the photos was that both 5x7s were of the group shot, not the individuals. I'm not sure why anyone would want two group shots and no larger individuals. Clarification in the packet would have been helpful. I'm so glad so many people have had positive experiences with Alante, my experience was very disappointing and I'm sad that I didn't get the professional pictures of my kids all dressed up in their ballet costumes that I was hoping for. read more

When looking for our photographer, we went to a couple of wedding shows, looked through a number of books and online websites, but ultimately settled on a personal recommendation for Alante. We could not be more pleased with our decision. Beyond anything else, Alante's work is brilliant. Despite my fiancé and me being a bashful couple, Kim and Loren were able to capture both the intimate and candid moments throughout our engagement session. We didn't have any specific shots or poses in mind so they gave us some general guidance and did the bulk of the work - making us look way better than we thought. Aside from their work, Kim and Loren are just some of the coolest cats with the warmest hearts; the kind of people you want to know on a personal level and hope to count among your friends. Their photos speak for themselves... Loren and Kimberly are extremely talented at what they do. Loren shot at our wedding on May 30th, so I don't have all of the images yet, but the ones I have seen are phenomenal. Our engagement photos were insanely gorgeous.. My husband and I received so many compliments and people kept asking who my photographer was. Loren made us feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera- he was very reassuring that the images were beautiful and that we were doing a great job. I feel it's important to have that kind of encouragement, especially if you're a little camera shy. She went above and beyond what I expected, and paid close attention to the little details, particularly how my hands looked in the photos...kind of important for a harpist! We hired Alante Photography for our October 2012 wedding, and it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made. We hired Loren for our wedding after comparing his portfolio with other's. I am an artist and studied art and photography in college, and these guys have a beautiful eye for light and composition. Wedding photography can get a bit silly IMO, but they made it beautiful. I was also leery of spending so much time on our wedding day posing for photos when I just wanted to enjoy the day and the experience with friends and family. But they listened so well and were totally respectful of my wishes. I'm not sure where to start. Alante is amazing!!! What a great team of photographers. Kimberly was our photographer (it's a husband and wife team) for our big day. She's a talented and exceptional photographer. She's extremely technically proficient and executes with passion and precision. But, her skills go beyond photography. She has a ton of experience in the wedding industry and was such a great resource for us. She went above and beyond to make sure all the "t"s were crossed and all the "i"s were dotted. Many things went "wrong" the day of our wedding and if it weren't for Kimberly, I'm not sure what would have happened! She's great under pressure, extremely efficient, organized, and gets the job done ....all with a smile on her face! No matter what the environmental barriers are, she will make it happen! Loren and Kimberly are amazing photographers! My husband and I hired Alante Photography 1 month before our wedding and they left me with no worries! I was able to meet with Loren and Kimberly before hand at our initial meeting, then was able to get to know them during our engagement shoot and then we had one more meeting to go over our timeline. Alante photography showed up to my wedding bright and early and what I loved most-they showed me photos as the night went on. We would be outside taking photos and Kimberly would show me ones on the display right after she took them! We just met with them to view all of our wedding photos and they are amazing!
