There was a time when visiting a mall meant certain stores acted like foundations that other stores…read morewould pop up around. East Meets West is one such store. Whether it's this mall or Woodbridge, "East Meets West" is a fun store to visit. I generally go here to get incense but they have so much more than that. Their other offerings include various Hamsas you can hang up, crystals, rocks, sage kits, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, charms, dream catchers and more. It doesn't matter if you believe in the various spiritual beliefs represented by this store, some of this stuff is just pretty decor. The store is basically a rectangle with shelves and islands in the middle. The cashier is off to the right in the middle. The cashier I dealt with was super friendly and I saw her helping the customer before me with a great deal of patience. This store used to be on the first floor, but they moved up to the second floor and as part of that move they upgraded the decor a bit. There's a fun neon sign at the entrance and a gigantic dream catcher hangs in one window with other items. Before you even walk in the store front seems to promise a unique store experience in a mall mostly dominated by department stores and clothing shops. I wound up getting some "short" incense that were nicely priced (20 for $5 I believe). I also bought a sticker for $2. "East Meets West" is a classic part of the mall experience and I definitely recommend dropping by!

I've always liked the Woodbridge HomeGoods and it is definitely my favorite that I've been to so far. There is a good selection in each category at great prices. I am so happy it is just a HomeGoods, I really hate the stores that are fused into a Marshall's or TJ Maxx, they usually lack selection and neatness. This past visit I came on a Wednesday night one week before Christmas. Despite it being 930pm the store was in good shape and there was a pretty big selection everywhere we looked, including Christmas themed gifts and decor. 5/5

I couldn't resist purchasing some gifts for my little honey dews. They will love their plushy toys, and one of them is obsessed with the Crayon Shin-Chan. They also have quite a selection of skincare and makeup. I would say they offer more on makeup than skincare. I would have liked to see more on their skincare, but this is their grand opening, so we will have to see if more things are coming in. The salespeople are ready to help you with anything you need. I started holding too many things in my hands, and poof, one of the salespeople handed me a basket. Huge thanks! I was surprised they also carry clothing and accessories. While I did not need any tops or sweatshirts or sunglasses, I did score a bucket hat. One can never have too many hats, as I'm trying to avoid the sun. I also secure some travel-sized bottles perfect for my travels. They also had neck pillows for the plane ride. Lest I forget to mention, they have a vast array of snacks, which my partner in crime is always finding when I'm meandering around. Next thing I knew, as I was checking out, he came running over and handed me a huge selection of Asian crisps. I made him wait so long, you better believe I purchased them.

I have been to other hobby lobby locations .. first time to this one . Everytime I go to hobby lobby , I see some really good stuff on sale . Today we saw some good deals on home decor and canvas paints. Picked up few home decors . This is similar to home goods but better in some products . I was looking for some products - shadow boxes etc and I was going around . Wish there were clear markers or boards showing the product names (arts and crafts etc) like they have in other shops like Costco . There were also very less persons around to help. The sink arrived promptly but came with two gross defects, one of which was pre-circled with a marker. The pedestal was also defective, leaning to one side. The toilet model was changed without informing us. The bowl came about 1 month later , and the tank about 7 weeks later. Trying to return the items required at least 20 phone calls. I don't know what goes on in the customer service office but there is very little of it. This is one transaction where I really wanted to scream...but this is not productive as they hang up on you when you start venting. I finally went to Home Depot and all the items arrived at the store within 10 days.
