My English Mastiff, Lina, is a certified therapy dog, so her temperament, comfort, and well-being are incredibly important to me -- and Paradise Ranch has consistently exceeded expectations. Most recently, Lina stayed for a 9-day boarding visit, the longest she's ever been away from home. She came back relaxed, happy, and well cared for, with no soreness or stress -- which speaks volumes about the thoughtful, attentive care she receives. The staff truly knows the dogs, understands large breeds, and treats each one like family. The environment is calm, enriching, and well managed, and the communication always gives me complete peace of mind while I'm away. I am so grateful for the incredible team at Paradise Ranch and wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional daycare and boarding.

I brought my pup for an evaluation, got to learn more about the resort, toured the facility and then brought her back for another evaluation cause #separationanxiety. Her not me! I watched her on the webcams (so many!) and she did great! Lots of shade options for her and lots of pups for her to be around. It was nice to see her socialize! She passed and I felt really great about her experience. Upon arrival and departure, all very secure. The team was great and I can't wait to see how she does after her first overnight experience. Thanks for a great time!

Scheduling is always easy through the phone or email. They keep track of vaccines to make sure we submit them when required. I love that my two pups can stay together in a jr suite and there is a camera to view them from an app. They don't spend much time in their room during the day so makes me happy to know that they are getting lots of love and walks and play time in their big indoor play area. Place always looks clean and staff is always friendly and attentive. Wouldn't take my pups anywhere else.

In…read more2023/2024 I found the dog resort extremely helpful as a day time dog sitter for 4-6 hrs at a time. My dog didn't seem to mind it and always came back calmer so I decided to leave him here for 9 days while I went away for a trip. I don't recall the exact costs. Probably between 900-1100 dollars for daily walks and his home provided food. I asked the employees to put on his sweater at night. It wasn't a question it was a very important task they agreed to. He was a very small 8 pound yorkie and was always cold. When I came back my dog was not his normal self. That already made me highly suspicious about getting his walks. He was coughing a lot, not sleeping but also lethargic. I took him to the vet and he had pneumonia. Meaning, he was cold from day 1 and got worse for the remainder of his stay and I never got a call from here. From there he got sicker and sicker and I had to put him down. I was devastated and desperate to get him back to normal for months! I recommend people never leave their dogs in places like this. Sure you save money and they may or may not have company (depending on their personality) but you're better off vetting a dog sitter to check in or stay with your dog at home. In the end you may save yourself an onslaught of vet bills from trying to figure what is making your dog so ill when back from a trip. At least with an in home dog sitter they're more like to stay alive and healthy. If you have a small dog with specific needs get someone who can cater to your dog with love and care. I highly suggest NEVER leaving your dog for overnight or extended stays. I hate that it took me so long to post this but my grief was too strong to do it before. I wanted to sue, I wanted my money back, but I was so sad and I couldn't bring myself to do much other than focus on him and move on with my life. I'll never get another dog after this experience.

Not really it's mostly jeans and tee shirt type apparel which is necessary around all the animals. We have 2 dogs which Dixie is an American Bulldog, (so ugly she's cute) AKA (Foster Failure) if you don't know what that is look it up, and a truly beautiful red Pit Bull Daisy. Dixie is about 21/2 years old with some anxiety and I believe some abuse in her past, and Daisy was to be euthanized the day my wife saved her from the animal shelter, she is about 11/2 years old, very loving and not a care in the world (except Food). I say all that to say this; we only had the dogs a few months and we had a 2 week vacation planned, plane tickets already bought, you know the story. We need to find a place for our new family members, (not just anyplace mind you, though new to our family we love them to death) so we needed a special place or person, We interviewed a few people, then some kennels, and time was running out fast. so far not comfortable with any of the choices. So my wife has been doing some dog rescue transporting and she had been to this place a few times and met the owner Raphaele Brilliant on several of these transports. One of the Rescue organizations wanted her to be their eyes and check the place out, take some pictures, see if the facility is safe, secure, clean, etc. We did and Raphaele understood and was super accommodating showing us around. After talking to Raphaele for about an hour my wife and I both had an epiphany (or if you want the truth it was more of a DAH moment) why not use "Almost Home" for our dogs. Sometimes you don't see what is right in front of your face, but we did and we are so glad we did. So far this review has been about us and our dogs and it really needs to be about "Almost Home Pet Boarding". Raphaele and staff did an amazing job, she even sent pictures of our girls out on their daily walks etc. (Very nice). It is very normal due to the change of environment (going from a house and yard) to a kennel situation, that dogs will lose weight, however ours Did Not, and I think it is because they do get attention with the walks, there is an indoor play area they rotate the dogs and spend time with them. Dixie did have some anxiety there but I honestly feel it was minimized due to their attention. (Dixie got extra attention in her kennel because of her anxiety) and she is a joy to be around. LOL. All joking aside my wife and I 100% recommend this place, They all truly love the animals and are committed to their well being. Raphaele never makes you feel rushed, she wants to make sure your comfortable leaving and entrusting your dear pets with them. We will for sure use them for our pets whether overnight or a couple of weeks. They have it covered. Thanks for taking such good care of our babies "Almost Home".

Three dogs presented, three months of changing promises, and a frightening outcome…read more Delta K9 assessed our home--two small children, three male dogs, two stories and full-time staff--and assured us Ax was perfect. We paid $73,000 for Ax and $5,000 to train our Frenchie, Remy, alongside him. Then they identified aggression toward our other shepherd and said all three dogs needed training. They quoted $8,000, attempted to charge it despite Remy's existing payment, and ultimately charged another $5,500 instead of honoring the quoted rates. A promised month became three. Ax reportedly became sick. His replacement, Kobe, arrived with a large nose wound, was described as Level 2, and behaved toward my one-year-old in a way that concerned both me and the trainer. After I emailed the owner, they unexpectedly brought a third dog, Puma, claiming he was worth $100,000 and had been thoroughly tested with Remy. At home, Puma refused the stairs, feared the backyard, urinated throughout the kitchen and knocked over my toddler while pursuing her dropped toy. Their response included a nighttime crate and unsuccessful attempts to coax him upstairs. Then he bit Remy--the very dog we paid to have trained to prevent this. Remy also returned underweight, prompting our vet to question his feeding, and with a respiratory infection. We returned Puma. His aggression over toys and what we witnessed as a lack of discernment made us afraid to keep him around our two small children. Meanwhile, Delta charged $2,111 monthly for food and grooming: $6,333 before we even received a dog. When questioned, they said ownership began at signing--even though they told us Ax was sick and sent back to Germany, without providing veterinary records or proof. The owner Mike began every conversation we had to address our concerns as basically a threat "I don't want to ruin our professional relationship" and yelled at us on the phone when we were calling him to say, "puma bit remy, come collect him". He was hostile, disrespectful and unprofessional". Now they are refusing to refund the money paid and claiming we owe even more. We paid for protection and peace of mind. We ended up fearing for our children and dogs in our own home.
