Unique stuff, that you aren't going to find at other stores (musical instruments - we had never seen before, nick knacks for decorating for a large variety of interest types), just all in all some really cool stuff. Tons of wax melts and candles if you are into those types of things. Wax melts had a bunch of scents I had never seen anywhere else before. Prices throughout the store seemed to be fair and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. We actually ended up getting a bunch of Christmas presents, so thanks Bleu River for that. Subsequently, they fly off the shelves ... but don't worry she gets several trucks a week, at least this time of year. I was lucky to be there when the truck arrived. Not only did I have first pick, there was definitely plenty of everything! I wanted one or two of each! Inside, I always have to get a couple of the scented wax (like scentsy) because they smell amazing! They are good quality and last as long as the scentsy brand ones. There are so many options! I usually get several $1 samples because I can cut them into 4 pieces (or more for the wall plug warmers) and can choose more scents at once! Favorite is Muscadine Vinyard, and Bora Bora was my second favorite. She also has scent warmers $10 small wall socket type and $20 large size. I noted she does embroidery and vinyl, she had some cute yeti-style tumblers and lots of shirts, etc in stock. She also does silk flower arrangement. Oh! And she has some jewelry and it is all super cute, good prices too. I picked up some Harp and Dragon and can't wait to find the perfect project to use it for! It's a place you can go and hang out and do some crocheting or knitting, have a cup of tea, and simply relax with good company. I was only there briefly with my husband, but I'm already excited to go back and spend more time. It is a wonderful local place that adds even more charm to the small area. One day (sooner than later!) I want to return for an extended visit and get to know it better. The service is warm and attentive, and the quality for the value is on point.

It's located in downtown Alex City, which is also a fun spot to come and explore. It's next door to Carlisle's Drugstore, one of the few remaining old style drugstore fountain / deli setup. Shop at MacDavid and then eat lunch or grab a milkshake at Carlisle's.
