We got there, showed them the idea of a design, they wrote it down--fine, cool. We gave them our number, and a few hours later we were texted with a design very similar to the one we had in mind--great. We even changed the shirt material and added/dropped shirts for teammates--they were polite about it. However, we needed the shirts by July 8th, we ordered June 24th--18 shirts in all. First of all, the math for our total was way off to begin with. We paid $124.00 deposit, cool. Then, she told us we owed $192.80 I told my fiancé that didn't sound right, to text and ask if there was tax and how much it was per shirt. I guess they redid their math and the price went down significantly. We were told the shirts would be done first by July 5th, so we would have them before our first game. Went up there, shirts weren't even in yet. Okay, so we asked when they would be done--she said lunchtime Saturday (the 6th). She also said she'd text us Saturday when they were done--never did because they were still not done. Went up there, they were closed by 2. July 8th we texted again--now they said they were going to be done around 9:30-10:00 (day of our game.) SIKE--they didn't order enough shirts. They only ordered 17, we needed 18. I'm at a loss for words as to why they didn't order one extra anyways in case they misprinted something. Now one of our teammates will have a completely different shirt with the design slightly different. They didn't check behind us on our names-sizes-numbers until they began printing to realize they were one shirt short. It's so irritating that we've had to do the runaround, and won't be able to give our team their shirts until we get to the game. Won't be coming here again. I understand they can't control when shirts come in mail--but DON'T give us a date/time for when they're done if you don't know if they'll actually be done. We live out of town, and driving back and forth was really getting old.

I stood in line to purchase/return and after waiting a long time they closed the lane I was in-moved to another, waited and then was told I could only return in lane 1 & 2 (lane 1 is the one I was in that closed). I didn't have time to wait again so I decided I would come back later. When I came back only lane 2 was open and about five cashiers and the manager were standing around. Finally after a bit of a stare down one of them opened 1 for a return. She looked at my receipt and then the two dresses I was returning due to fit. She then told me she didn't recognize that brand. I told her look at the skew on the dresses and my receipt and she said she would still need a manager to come over. She and the manager looked at the dresses and discussed how neither recognized the brand. At this point I said I would happily show them where I found them and that I didn't appreciate the accusation. The manager proceeded to tell me they have trouble with theft and she would need to look them up on her tablet. She found them and approved the return. No apology, no sorry you had to wait, just a shrug when I asked how they could justify what happened when I had the actual receipt and the tag (sticker) on the front of each dress. I will never return to Hobby Lobby and they can run off all of their good honest customers and be left with the thieves. I can go somewhere else even if the price is a little higher. I've always supported this store and their beliefs but this was ridiculous! One star is more than deserved.

Silks, printed denim, satins, lace, notions, and even patterns (some had been pre used, but that's why they were super cheap. I mean maybe 50 cents.) in this store, you could find just about anything. And the man working (I think he was the owner) was so sweet. He dealt with a crowd of screaming teenage girls like it was no big deal that we were running form one side of the store to the other spazzing out over the fabric selections. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of five is because it was a little dim in one area and there was a slight "going to be buried under so much fabric" feeling, but hey, I haven't been in a few years, so that might have changed. To the avid sewer, this place is a gold mine.

This is the absolute worst store to shop. The staff are pig ignorant about sewing, fabrics,…read moreknitting, and most everything they sell in the store. The only knowledgeable person is the woman selling the sewing machines. If you need any help or assistance with anything else, good luck. You're pretty much own your own. I can't, for the life of me, understand why this store hires people with no knowledge of the products they sell. Furthermore, every time I asked for assistance from one of their employees, I was given looks, along with exaggerated sighs, as if I was imposing on their time. The store was unkempt and there were trash bins sitting in the middle of the aisles between fabrics. I will NEVER shop at this store again. From now on, Hobby Lobby has my business!
