I ordered 2 custom doors, both had the wrong hinges, but one opened in the wrong direction. The…read morecontractor picked the doors up at the start of the job, when the contactor was installing 5 business days later after pick-up, the 59-60 inch door thurned out to be 57 inches and the door swung in the wrong direction, out, not in. So you have to pull open into the bedroom and not push into the bathroom. When I called to ask how the door was ordered, the special order person was very rude and down grading and belittling. I will not do business with them again and will not recommend any one to them. My contractor said he stopped using them many years ago due to wrong orders and their being rude. He went from doing all business to NO business with them. Now, I understand why.

Checkout/Customer service was at the entrance (to the right) and the staff was really friendly when I came in asking if they could help me ... perfect, since I had a return. Quick to get me taken care of and take back the merchandise I had .... quick question if there was anything wrong with the purchase and we were almost done that quickly. Seasonal stuff had already made it's way into the store, they had a nice selection of Christmas stuff when you first came in (front and center and to the left). Nice experience, hope to come back and check them out in a little more detail sometime in the future.

I remember going to the store to have a simple key made. After the kid made the three identical keys for me, I noticed that one key was way off pattern. I showed the kid and tried explaining to him that this key was not the correct pattern; comparing the original, two correct duplicates, and the third messed up key. He looked at me and said "why don't you just try it and see if it works." Long story short and a wasted trip, knowing this key wouldn't work, I returned to the store. The three kids sitting around the table scoffed when I returned, needing to have the key remade. I'm a young guy, but I felt like some old geriatric man teamed up against a bunch of kids. It was clear that I was angry, but the children working that day only cared about sitting around on their phones drawing a pay check. I always try to support local businesses, but at this point I don't even waste my time shopping here. Last week I visited to find a simple self drilling screw. I knew better. The hunt continued for a long time until I finally gave up. The store (specifically the nuts and bolts isle) looks like it's been turned upside down. Screws in the wrong bins, more empty pegs than stocked items. Thrift stores are more organized than this hardware store. I really hate seeing this place in this condition. It's clearly ran by absent management and staffed by kids who couldn't care less about helping customers and keeping the store organized.

Ran out here to see if they still had what she was after, unfortunately they didn't. But, I was introduced to a new building supply house that seems to be pretty well stocked and carries a wide variety of tools and materials to accomplish projects around the house. Prices seem to be on par with other building supply places, if not a little better. Store has a nice open feel to it and is clean and organized. Staff we're helpful and directed me to the area that I'd want to check and see if they had what I was looking for (didn't have a brand name just a description). Overall a pretty good location, if I was closer I'd for sure shop here more.

Got some great ideas, and may be returning, to get some of the garage organizational things they have. All sorts of bins and containers (some wall mountable). Also, there are quite a few options for some of the tool accessories - such as - there are about 4 or 5 different types of saw horses. So if you want to get something really basic because you won't be using it a lot - they've got you covered. But, if you want something a little more heavy duty, they've got those options as well. Really glad I stopped in here to check out what they have. Prices seem so be good, not sure about the overall quality having not made a purchase yet. Employees working the floor were friendly and helpful answering customer questions. Preliminary report, I'd recommend this location and plan on going back to grab a few things.

So, when that person is helping someone, is on break or lunch (if they get one) there isn't anyone available in that department. 99% of the employees care and are doing their best to help everyone but there aren't enough hours given to others to truly man the store as it really needs. Obviously, this isn't anyone's fault except Lowes in general. Lastly, you would not believe some of the names employees are called by customers. Even when the employee is doing everything they can to help the customer. If the store is out of stock, it's not the employees fault, don't take it out on them. If you called and couldn't get through, it's not the guy in tools fault. How do I know.... I worked there and have experienced it first hand. Being nice goes a long way.
